I had already looked up the prices for the springs which were around $85 a piece. So to try and charge $200 for one spring was ridiculous. I then called Overhead Door Company just to compare. It was a similar service charge, but the person explained that the service charge was the labor cost and the only other charge would be for the springs which were $120 a piece. I appreciate that there will be a mark up on parts to cover costs and I also appreciated the way she explained it to me. She set up an appointment for the next day. The man called and came out as promised, replaced the springs in about 30 minutes. It actually was a very easy process and I needed that today!! I did consider replacing the springs myself, but looking back, it was well worth the service charge and the little mark up on the parts to have it done professionally. I would highly recommend Overhead Door Company for any garage door/ replacement needs.

He left the work area better than he found it, which I appreciate very much. Obviously it's great having a reliable opener again, but both my wife and I really appreciate the improvements they've made in the two decades since our original unit was designed. In my experience, Garage Door Services gets the job done well and in a reasonable time frame, which matters when it's the garage door.

When I said, no, I'm not doing that because I don't believe that, he THEN acted he was looking at the wires, and said, well, we could do a new motor then but can't guarantee it will work sooo, best to get a new unit. I just had Millard Door out for the 3rd time living in my current home. Once they replaced my opener that died after a number of years. This was the opener I installed when I moved in and it probably wasn't installed quite right when I looked at the bracing and I think it led to premature failure. Millard Door installed the new opener and its worked great ever since. The second time I used them I was having issues with the remotes not working. I called him and was willing to replace the opener but he was able to replace the circuit board that receives the remote signals and it has worked great ever since. Finally, just today he just left after replacing my tension springs, one of which broke a few days ago after 13 years. In all three of these cases the gentlemen was polite and professional, worked quickly and his services were priced reasonably. I would recommend him to any of my friends or coworkers. I don't doubt that the other reviewers honestly feel that their did not have a good experience but it does not reflect the multiple times I've had Millard Door do work for me.

The door never opened to the full opening, and within a short time we had issues with it opening and closing. We tried multiple times to reach him for service and never heard back, so we replaced the red safety beam ourselves. At the time, we did not leave a review. However, after having another company out due a cable disconnecting and learning there are major installation issues -- including incorrectly installed tracks, crooked overhead rails, and the need to move the opener -- we felt it was important to share our experience. Because of his past lack of responsiveness, we did not attempt to contact him this last time. We would not recommend this company or the owner, Greg.
