This was good if you prefer a non traditional Mediterranean flavor

Second time coming here and was not disappointed , I did go to super king next door to grab some condiments to go with it; such as hummus, babaganoush, and garlic paste with fresh veggies. The bread is fresh and the flavors of the filling are well seasoned. We will definitely be coming back!

    Mini cheese borek

Al Amir Bakery is my go to bakery for their mini cheese borek. I love that everything is made fresh. I've had to wait 45 minutes once for an order. Another fav is their zatar with cheese bread. I always order the minis and freeze a few. They hold up well and taste just as fresh when I toast them at home. The staff there are really friendly and helpful. I would say this is more of a grab and go spot even though there are chairs for dine in. As soon as I get inside my car, I immediately have to eat a borek. Nothing like bread fresh from the oven! Pro tip- call ahead since everything is made to order!

Stopped next door to get some pastries to bring to work and I saw this place. I was intrigued and went it. They make different flatbreads in mini and regular size as well as some closed stuffed breads. I chose the dozen minis to share with coworkers. It was a hit! Delicious. Can't wait to return and try others. Took only 10 minutes. Made to order. Inside, there are plenty of tables. They open early at 8am.

I was searching for a spot that makes fresh pita bread and found this amazing place! They make the most fluffy and delicious pita bread in front of you in their large oven. They are a large size and are perfect to enjoy for yourself or to share. The service is always amazing and the restaurant is very cozy.

Al Amir Bakery is one of those places you walk into once--and then find yourself coming back again and again. Their bread is next-level--warm, fluffy, and baked fresh throughout the day. The foul? Rich, hearty, and perfectly seasoned. Everything tastes like it was made with real care and tradition. The space is clean, the staff are kind and welcoming, and the service is quick without feeling rushed. It's clear they take pride in everything they do. Whether you're grabbing breakfast or just craving something authentic and satisfying, Al Amir delivers. Highly recommend!

Looking to try something new in this foodie realm that we eat and play in? Well level it up with these freshly baked Lebanese flatbreads. Choose from over a dozen different types of circular masterpieces that come with a variety of different toppings. I wanted to try them all but I told myself to hold back because I would be back! So I started off with the Sojouk that came with beef and special spices which I don't know what they were but it tasted good. Next I tried the Zaatar and Cheese which was kinda the same concept I had first but with a special blend of different cheeses. So far both were on target with satisfying my curiosity. So the last one was I tried was like an appetizer and that was the Labnah Platter. The only way I can try to describe this is like a flavored pita that came with a yogurt mixed with olive oil dipping cup. It's probably not the best way to describe it but I can tell you I seriously enjoyed this refreshing appetizer. The service was good and parking is a bit tight. And that's my take on it, Peace out...

My family has been buying from this bakery ever since I was a child, at LEAST 12 years, but Al Amir's baked goods have NEVER disappointed. Each order proves time and time again how thoughtful the owners are to creating the most delicious Lebanese pastry's you can find. the dough is so moist and fluffy, and the topping is simple yet so flavorful. Inside is the perfect place to sit and have a classic, Middle-Eastern breakfast with family. Nothing gets better than this place PLEAAAASE support!

They have a Pickle Pizza (don't knock it 'til you try it) that is just out of this world! I honestly haven't had anything bad there. They also have a decent selection of beers to choose from, in case wine isn't your thing. There is both indoor and outdoor seating for whatever your preference is. The patio is well-covered, so if anyone is trying to stay out of the sun, they've thought of that. Kelly took care of my friend and I, as we decided to go to Claremont instead of braving the crowds at The Upland Lemon Festival this past Sunday. Kelly was an absolute ray of sunshine and took great care of us. We spent a good amount of the afternoon chilling on their patio sipping on Sangiovese, and snacking on the Corn & Tortilla Dip, as well as the Pork Belly appetizer. All were wonderful! NOTE: For the next month or two, their menu will be slightly limited, as they are renovating their kitchen. There's still PLENTY of great stuff to choose from and enjoy, though.

Omar the bartender is still as wonderful as Day One. I was finally able to figure out his last name. (It wasn't given out willingly and he made me guess after dropping a single hint). Will be on my way to collect my free bottle of wine for the month of June. Grafted Cellars is such a lovely place. I've met new friends as well as reunited with old ones. So glad I've found a place to be able to call "my hangout".

They've got indoor and outdoor seating and they seemed a touch understaffed for being a beautiful day. It was also a Tuesday lunchtime so maybe they weren't expecting it to be as busy as it was. We were able to prove the menu before we got seated. And our super friendly server came out and we were able to order right away. They've got a lunch special. That is a small personal pizza with a salad and we each got that. Salads came out first and I had the arugula salad, which was absolutely phenomenal. 10 of 10 would eat this every single day. The arugula was peppery and it was well dressed in a lemon vinaigrette type sauce. I am a fan of just plain lemon on mine, but this was delicious. My husband got a union salad, which is their specialty I guess. It's got colored carrots and some beets and some shallots. I thought the dressing was bland and it certainly needed salt and pepper. We asked for both and didn't get either. Our pieces came out and they were nice and woodfired. I feel like they could've been done just a little bit longer maybe a minute or two. The sauce was a lovely fresh type crushed tomato sauce. The cheese was nice and gooey and did not feel or taste like a package of processed cheese. Pepperonis were greasy, but in a real meat kind of way. I had to dab mine, but my husband just went to town on his. The pickled peppers is a pickled jalapeño. Big chunks of them. They certainly didn't skimp on any of the toppings. They were a little sweet and a little hot. Some of the big chunks were a little too sweet for my liking but overall, it was a nice flavor mix Also from a size standpoint, I thought the salad and pizza were very adequate for lunch at around $20 price point I asked for salt and pepper again as well as a side of ranch. This time we did get the salt and pepper as well as cheese and crushed red pepper. But we didn't get the ranch until we were leaving. The server did apologize and said he thought someone else was bringing it out but I pretty much deducted a star because we asked for a couple different things that never came. Overall, the service was super friendly, the ambience was nice for an outdoor lunch thought. I thought the menu looked delicious and there were several things I would like to come back and try and I would go back again.

It was so underwhelming. 2 eggs cooked differently, one over hard, one over easy, 5-6 potato pieces and the steak was thin, overcooked, and appeared to be a cheap cut of meat. A New York cut would have been great. Wife mentioned norms has better steak and eggs. Called and spoke with a manager Stephanie, not looking for anything, but to express disappointment in the meal for the high price. She offered to mail a gift card for us and invited us back. Took all of my information and never received it. Thanks anyway. Don't think we'll be back.

A friend and I ordered the Bee Kind pizza on their Mini Monday special which is a 6x6 Detroit style pizza, a side of onion rings, and a couple of IPAs to wash it all down with. I've never had Detroit style pizza mainly because it never really interested me (not a fan of thick doughy pizza) and I already know based on the "real" Detroit style pizzas that I've seen, this isn't that. In fact, it was thinner than I expected but no complaints here. Anyway, it was absolutely bangin'. Big bold flavors that jump out and is very rich. This pizza satisfied my craving for SURE. The 6x6 sounded a lot bigger on paper, but it was actually pretty small when it came out. It's a good snack for 2 people, but for 1 person it would definitely be filling. Their onion rings were FIRE. Seriously. Some of the best onion rings I've had in a long time. Very well seasoned breading and perfectly cooked. The breading was crispy, but not crunchy. I love craggly, thick onion rings, but sometimes those do a number on the roof of your mouth. These? I could eat 'em all day. Service was great although it did kinda take a little too long for the food to come out, but I guess it was worth the wait. I love the inside of the space too.
