The overall quality of the food was poor, and there were several issues with the dishes that made the meal especially underwhelming. For the price, I expected much better quality, freshness, and attention to detail. Nothing really stood out in a positive way, and the experience left us disappointed. The owner is very nice and offered me some extra items for free like the garlic spread and a drink. Salmon is no longer on the menu btw. Chicken kabob and shwarma were both fantastic. Rice and salads that come with the meals are also good. Go back to your old hummus recipe though! This one isn't as good as your former! (My only complaint.) Cheese Pie: I only received 2 pieces (the menu says this item comes with 4 pieces). 1 of the 2 was split open and filled with oil that just poured out and the cheese inside was burnt. Chicken Shawarma (Gyro): Chicken was very hit or miss. The smaller pieces were dry and overcooked. I paid $2 extra for garlic sauce that wasn't included. I asked for no vegetables or tomatoes but both were included. There was no pita included with the entree (I would have ordered them on the side but what gyro doesn't include pita?) Hummus was grainy and watery (maybe because they topped the hummus with watery tomato chunks with lots of seeds?). read more
