Incredible value. The most popular dish is the beef and lamb gyro (for dinner) or wrap (for lunch). Wonderfully delicious. I don't really eat the salad, because I want to finish the high priority gyro and rice. Pro tip: if you want fries, just make it a combo. It's the same price. In terms of flavor and quality of the food I would give it 5 stars. I am only a little butt hurt because the entire reason we tried this restaurant was because of the Restaurant.com coupon that we had for them but then were informed after ordering that they don't accept them. I think this is a bigger issue with Restaurant.com than this restaurant in particular so I try not to hold it against them but they could have accepted the coupon regardless. We ordered the gyro salad and the shwarma sandwich and both were delicious. The meat was hot, fresh and deliciously seasoned. The salad was huge and the sauce and feta were in perfect proportion to the rest of the salad. All flavors just melded together beautifully. The wrap was also a good portion and well flavored with plenty of meat. We would come back for sure and still haven't tried their hummus, baba or other items. Fantastic and affordable Mediterranean food in downtown Seattle. I had a Kofta Kebab plate, and I could see the proprietor cook my dish after I ordered it. Really solid, affordable option for Mediterranean food on Capitol Hill. As an added bonus for night owls, they're open until the wee hours of the morning, which feels downright criminal in Seattle (don't get me wrong; I'm really glad rare places like this exist for when I'm hungry at 11 PM). This isn't the fanciest restaurant on the block, so the decor and ambience are both pretty bare bones. The menu contains your standard Mediterranean staples, consisting mostly of variations of falafel and shawarma in wrap or plate form, as well as gyros. I usually order takeout via Grubhub since I live within spitting distance, and I've found it to be a very painless experience. The food is always warm and fresh when I get it, which is great. Portions are generous, with healthy amounts of protein and salad in them. I overall find the food here very satisfying and perfect for quick, well-priced, reasonably healthy, filling meals. It isn't the best Mediterranean food in the city (go to Petra for that), but it's A-OK for the niche it fills. read more

COVID Takeout. Had a hankering, so found this Mediterranean joint via Yelp. Read the reviews and was sold--had to try. Parking is tricky, but possible on street (had to circle around once before spotting an opening). It's near Dick's and on a very busy corner of Broadway...and of course, I went around 4:30ish, so peak commuting time. Once inside, no wait--ordered at the counter and was immediately met with smiles and super kind help. Boom, just 5mins or so, my food was ready (see attached pics: Baba Ghanoush Sandwich, #10 Gyro Lamb & Beef Sandwich, large Greek fries (huge), and a side of falafel. Both sandwiches were overflowing (hard to hold even two fisted without lettuce falling out), huge, and so stuffed that I could only eat 1/2 and hubs ate the innards and left the pita (even he said it was too big for him to finish). The Baba Ghanoush was delicious--smoky eggplant, hearty...and I took a bite of the #10, meat was generous, nicely spiced and salted, and addictive! Fries were the one thing that didn't travel too well--soft and limp even when I cracked the top open to let out the steam, though nevertheless, super flavorful and yum (the garlic sauce helped the feta to cling onto the fries, as opposed to other places that just sprinkle with feta that falls right off). I wouldn't know if this is authentic or not, but this girl knows delicious when she tastes it. And this place is really good! I recently ordered their Greek salad and a lamb & beef gryos plate. Both were super garlicky, doused in feta and absolutely delicious. Everything was a leeeeeeettle bit overwhelmed by the feta and the garlic. I happen to love those flavors so I didn't mind too much, but you get those two dominant flavors more than anything else. I think that just a tad more bright acidity would be nice. Maybe some more herbs too. It would really bring the flavors together some more. The pita bread was our absolute favorite. It didn't taste warmed out of some plastic bag. It was fresh and warm. It had slightly browned parts from the griddle, but was kind of fluffy like beautiful bread. TL;DR the platter mostly tastes like creamy, salty feta & garlic. I'm not upset about that. Best gyros around! Super friendly service. Heaps of meat, fresh veggies mixed with finger licking sauce. Definitely a new favorite of mine. I haven't had the fries yet as I've always taken my order to go (Yes I do the eat and run thing), and generally get jealous looks from other people waiting for the link as I happily munch on my gyro. So far I've never felt hungry after finishing one of their gyros. Generally I'm still hungry after eating just a sandwich or gyro at most other places. This is definitely not the case here.
