Absolutely tremendous food! I had gotten takeout once before and enjoyed my chicken tikka sandwich, but it didn't make much of an impression. I stopped in on a Saturday morning with my whole family, and it made a tremendous impression! My middle child raved "Best food ever!" I have eaten a lot of middle eastern food - it's my favorite cuisine - and this is some of the best I have ever had. This is Iraqi Chaldean food - could it be better than Lebanese? We got a medium mixed appetizer - you get to choose 5 items from a pretty substantial list. They have the Lebanese staples I'm used to: hummus, tabbouli, baba ghanouj, fattoush. They also have jajeek salad (cucumber and yogurt - like a good tzatziki), Iraqi salad (tomatoes, cucumbers, onions - and beets, which made it great), Beiruty cabbage salad (will try it next time), and pasta salad (will probably need to try this as well). The hummus was less garlic and more tahini, and really great. Then we got a Combo Tray for 2, which might be the single best menu item I have ever ordered. Setting the meat aside for a second, the grilled jalapeno and grilled tomato were excellent, the yellow rice was good, and the brown rice (which they call biryani) was fantastic. But the meat was what set this meal apart. The chicken shawarma was, hands down, the best I have ever had. The beef shawarm was excellent. And the chicken tikka (like tawook) was so moist and perfect - it's what chicken should be. And the chicken cream chop was as perfect as fried chicken should be. This was plenty enough meat for a family of 5 - we didn't finish it; and if we had finished the appetizers, this might be double the meat we needed! The combo tray came with stew, which we also didn't finish, although we really enjoyed it. The stew choices are okra, potato, eggplant, and a fourth one I forget. We tried okra and potato and they were both tasty tomato-based stews. One final note: the pita bread was thrown on the grill quickly before being brought out - the warmth was a nice touch. read more

My observations: Went for lunch and we were the only customers the entire time. Restaurant was large, bright & clean Service was helpful and friendly Pita served with hummus was warm but quite hard. Not what I have come to expect in other middle eastern restaurants. Shawarma sandwich had lettuce on it, which I thought unusual and bread was grilled and not soft. Stopped in for dinner here with a friend during the week. It's a huge restaurant and when we walked in, we were the only ones around 7pm. But it didn't stay that way, with dine-in and carryout happening. We both intended to get shawarmas and keep it simple, but the shawarma fries just looked too good to resist. They come with a choice of meat and sauces that make you think "chili cheese fries" but it was so much better. And we got a small hummus as well. It did not help that our eyes were bigger than our stomachs, but it was insanely good. We both couldn't get enough of the fries, ending up each only eating half our sandwiches and then after making a major dent in the fries, each took plenty home to boot. Also keep in mind, that the fries alone was more food than our two sandwiches combined. I've been here multiple times in the past and the hummus and baba ghanouj is unbelievably flavorful and damn near addicting. The hummus in particular is some of the smoothest I've ever had. This place used to be four stars easily, but recently it has fell off, also took time out of my way to mention that. As of 10/8/25 I put an order and the taste was not there like before I didn't get enough vegetable toppings, which I minus lettuce for my sandwich and when I was ordering my order, I was greeted and 100% Arabic. I'm Caldean American. But my ethnic language for me is off, so I mostly speak English. The person that greeted the phone completely spoke to me in Arabic and couldn't understand to even make the ticket for my order. Someone had to take the phone from her and put in my order, which is fine. He took my order. Also he seems to be the actual cook there as well which means he assembled my sandwiches like I said no veggies didn't make the sandwich taste good at all last time and I haven't been back in like 2 1/2 months because it was so dry. I can't keep coming to a place and supporting it if they can't get it together and spend my money and have failure in my food. Life is too expensive for that.. I feel like I've done my part for trying to tell them more than one time but that's how businesses fail. I gave you two stars because if I gave you three stars, that means I would be back someday there's too many spots in the neighborhood for me to actually think you'll get it right the next time.. Wow! Just Wow. I've ate the same plate Beef Gus/Rice/Curry at over 100 Arabic Restaurants. But none of them compare to the taste and cleanliness and top notch service this place has. OMG BECKY!!!! Hold the phone no need to go anywhere else for excellent food. I am so super impressed. I have not been going out as much because of covid. This place was so wonderful. The food was melt in your mouth good. We ordered the beef and chicken shawarma sandwiches they were so delicious. The beef meat was the most tender I have ever had. The chicken was seared perfect and soft. The lentil soup was warm and inviting. She gave us some homemade bread with hummus. It was like a velvet slice of heaven. Creamy and full of flavor. The cucumber salad is a must. I forgot the name. The server will know. Plus she gave us two waters. Our bill was just under 20.00. They are so accommodating too. Everything I asked for she gladly gave to us. They will make you feel just like home. Nice open layout too. If you follow me you know I tell the truth. Enjoy my friends. Came here after working out at nearby LA Fitness. Ordered a 5 appetizer dish, and a chicken shawarma wrap. I was struggling to select 5 appetizers that had no onions when Savio the server suggested taboule, and that they make it fresh and can easily leave out the onions. It was wonderful! The shawarma was flavorful with subtle spices - super tasty. I ate half and had a great lunch for the next day. Savio, the young server was well informed on the menu and friendly. Really great customer service, however food was very salty. Ordered a chicken shawarma that was just leaking everywhere and chicken tenders for my kid. My kid didn't even touch the fries.
