The owner, Frank and manager, Hani, were both very pleasant and easy to deal with when planning this party. I would highly recommend having an event in their banquet room. I recently visited Lebanese Grill in Shelby Township with my partner, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. The staff was incredibly rude and standoffish towards us from the moment we walked in. It felt as though we were being deliberately ignored and treated with disdain. The worst part was that it seemed our poor treatment was racially motivated. Despite the restaurant being half empty, we had to wait an unusually long time to be acknowledged for something as simple as water. When we finally did get some attention, 15 minutes or more, the service continued to be slow and dismissive, so we left with an unwelcoming feeling inside. I believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect, regardless of their race or ethnicity. Unfortunately, Lebanese Grill failed to provide that basic level of courtesy. I will not be returning, and I would advise others to avoid this place as well. Moreover, sadly to be announcing this treatment in this day and age. Please note that in order for us as a humane society we must stop patronizing places that promote treatment based on race or anything otherwise in order to stop generational racism. read more

I was staying nearby in a hotel and walked here for a Friday night dinner. The service was amazing, felt just like eating at your favorite aunt's house. The shish platter for one was so filling, but delicious. I had the tabouli salad and it was a worthwhile upgrade since it was fresh and huge... the best part of the meal was the fresh / hot pita bread, so good. I'd recommend eating here any time. When I arrived at Souq in Windsor they obviously didn't have my order ready because I called the wrong number. Lately,, the places I've been going to have sucked with their service so I no longer am a customer there and have taken my business to other restaurants, like this one. I came in for lunch and was seated right away. The service was great. They have great lunch specials. Most of the lunch special dishes are $10-$13. This is a much smaller dining area compared to the Troy and Rochester location. This was my first time placing an order from this location. Paid full price for a meal and was left dumbfounded by what I was served as side dishes. First off, their main entrees are absolutely delicious. Nothing negative to say. I was expecting my food to be overcooked, but was really left extremely happy. But the portions suck ass right off that bat. For $20 all you get are two skewers (10 pieces of beef cubes) but no tahini or garlic spread. Apparently they don't have middle eastern style turnips or pickles. Never heard of a middle eastern restaurant not carry those items lol. The tubberware was fantastic compared to styrofoam from other locations. Much better at sealing and not spilling all over the place. The prep cook/front hostess seemed to forget my salad and soup, which is the reason for 2 star review. read more

But he simply flagged us over, yelling across the room about 3 times. We hesitantly walked over to the booth only to see food left on the table and all over the floor. First time my family and I experienced Lebanese grill , we dined in. It gets VERY smoky inside. Customer service was decent enough and we all enjoyed our soup, salad, and main entree. Being that the overall experience was good, we decided to order carry out on Christmas Eve. The food vìa carry out was extremely underwhelming and disappointing. Full order of deboned chicken was not good. Also we received cold non fresh baked pita bread. When we dined in they offered fresh baked warm bread so we assumed it would be the same for carry out. When we dined in, the vegetable chicken soup was great. In the carry out it had very large rough cuts of veggies and barely any chicken. The salad came in a very small styrofoam container. Literally a personal size salad. Not enough to feed 3-4 people and it accompanied a FULL size order of deboned chicken. Not equivalent at all. And then the lettuce in the salad was wilted and brown. We threw it away. I may be willing to try again with dine in but the inconsistency of this place didn't sit well with me. The same standard should be upheld for carry out food as well as dine in. read more

The best falafel I've had in metro Detroit - even better than Bucharest -Lebanese Grill blows it out of the water . Crunchy outside nice and moist inside. The garlic dip here is also the best .The Mango smoothie wasn't only Mango- it was predominately made with strawberries - would have been nice to know that. although it was tasty but would have rather it been a mango smoothie . You could taste all the grill marks. Rice had nuts on top of it so more like rice pilaf. Definitely beats rice with red sauce. My boyfriend loved his lamb chops. He never had lamb chops before so he had no idea how they would taste but his mouth started watering as soon as his food was placed in front of him. Lots of seasoning and lots of flavor. Not long after La Shish at Hall Road was closed, we heard about this restaurant. Rumours said that some of La Shish workers moved to work here. Then we gaveit a try. Since then, we become a regular here. We've tried other Middle Eastern restaurants but keep coming back here. Some of the guys recognize our favorite, Combo for Two. They always warmly greeted us.
