There was no line to order. The cashier was able to recommend some things. When ordering a gyro you can choose the toppings to put on it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We went at night and the lights were very bright[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and [[HIGHLIGHT]]there is a small seating area but people normally sat to the right of the ordering station.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I think I screwed up by getting a burger instead of some of their other options, but I have to say it was one of the worst burgers I've ever had in my life. Had to wait a way too long amount of time as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Too bright to eat in there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

One of the very very few chicken with white rice and white sauce places in the twin cities that comes anywhere near what you get at a halal cart in New York City. Open till 2:00 a.m. is always a plus and they seem to be pretty decent service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Probably would never eat inside but it's way more of the takeout place and the orders are almost always correct.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We ordered desi food, and it's my first time trying them. I actually like them a lot. It's packed with flavor and spice. We ordered Haleem, it's kind of like a stew. It's a little saltier than I expected. The naan balanced it well. We also ordered chicken Karahi, the chicken thigh is yummy, very spicy. And we also ordered tawa keema beef. It's like monced beef with onion, pepper and maybe cumin and other spice. Overall food is very good. We ordered to go. Took off one star because several of other dishes we want to try was not available

Pros: Tasty food, nice staff, great prices. Cons: Horrible location and vibe. It is a truck stop, but the outside is very run down (The inside is fine). A lot of my order was wrong. I think they didn't have all of it in stock or available, but it didn't reflect that online. Since I haven't eaten here before, I also wasn't sure what was incorrect online, a substitution, or a mistake. If you are using the truck stop and going in person to eat, this would be a great option. But as someone who found it online for a dinner take-out, I was disappointed.

They run a buffet lunch on the weekends and bring out fresh paratha and naans to your table which is different than other Indian buffet places in the city and a very welcome addition in my opinion. They had a pretty decent selection of dishes in the buffet including some rare dishes hard to find at other places like beef nihari and paya which is not very common. The food is more Pakistani than Indian. So if you want to try out dishes that are different than your normal Indian fare in most buffets around town, this is a definitely something you should try out. There were a couple of things that stood out from the dishes. The mutton curry and the chickpea curry were really good. The biryani, nihari and paya were ok. There were a bunch of fruits and desserts which were very good. They charge about 20 some dollars for the buffet which might seem a little steep but considering the choices and other prices around town, it is not out of line. The price also includes a soft drink. Overall, I am happy to have a Pakistani restaurant in town and will be going here to support them and would recommend to those that want to try something different. I would say if you like South Asian food, give this spot a try for sure.

They do have chickpea flour breaded dishes and maybe they accidentally made this one in chickpea flour. *shrug* Anyway, this was good. The rice was spectacular.

It's a yogurt-based curry with CRISPY pakora in it. I came here thinking "any restaurant can make pakora, it's literally just deep-fried, battered vegetables." This was a mistake I have already lived to regret. Before I describe the food, I'll note that I ordered online and was advised to pick it up in 20-35 minutes. I arrived on the later end of this range. I went into the restaurant and no one was seated inside, but it was a Monday night so maybe that's a quiet day for them. I went up to the counter to pick up my order. There was nobody there but someone came out after I rang the bell. I picked up my order and went home, not thinking to check it. I arrived home with the goods in hand. My mother opened it and gave me a look of disappointment, contempt, and disgust. The pakora was cold, limp, and not battered. It seemed like it was microwaved or even just taken straight out of the fridge. We still made the curry, but it was an abomination. I've never had pakora this bad. If you're looking for Indian food in the metro, go literally anywhere else or my Indian mother will be disappointed in you, too.
