This is a newer restaurant to the Coon Rapids area. I believe this used to be a DQ location. Just driving by, I wasn't sure what this was until I looked it up! Would love to see some more signs outside advertising their delicious food! There is free parking! They also do free delivery within the 2 mile radius of the restaurant. Walking in the vibe here is off... it is the only reason I took one star away. I was wearing very casual clothing, but walked in to see white table cloths and water glasses. I was expecting to see bright Caribbean colors and fun decor on the walls! I really think that is the direction they should go with this place! If they want to go the "fancier" route, then I would say they need to take the TV's down, take the juke box out, change the floors and repaint the walls. That would give it a more "upscale" feel. So as far as vibes go, I'd say it just feels confusing and forced currently. The service here was wonderful! Very attentive and polite! I also saw my waitress consistently working! She was folding napkins, cleaning and assisting customers! She was great! The food: Very good! I got the Montego Bay pasta and jerk chicken wings! I added shrimp to the pasta and they were cooked to perfection! The pasta had great flavors as well! The jerk chicken wings had a great seasoning but were a tad dry. Add the sauce! It packs a punch of flavor and definitely added to the tastiness of the wings!! I took half of my food home and had my boyfriend try it. He loved it! We will definitely be back!

Everything was awesome! Food was amazing, the outdoor Seating was cute and fun, the wine bar had great drinks and the server, Rowan, was fantastic! Definitely be back!!

Fresh off a flight from California for a wedding, we were craving something good to eat in a place we've never been and Yelp led us straight to Time and Place. As a fan of Jamaican-Asian fusion, I knew we were in for a treat. With Jamaica recently hit by a hurricane, dining here felt like a small way to show support while indulging in bold flavors. From the moment we walked in, the vibes were great. Rowen, holding it down behind the bar, greeted us with warmth and genuine hospitality. Before diving into the menu, I took a quick detour to the restroom which was spotless, well-stocked, and clearly cared for, which always sets a good tone. By the time I returned, menus were already at the table along with two bottles of water. I asked Rowen for his recommendations, and he absolutely delivered. We started with the beef patty and chicken potstickers. Each bite was packed with flavor. Then came the Montego Bay Pasta with Shrimp, a dish that deserves its own spotlight. Imagine a creamy curry explosion that dances across your taste buds; rich, spicy, and unforgettable. The ambiance? On point. The music? Perfectly curated. And to top it off, they had my favorite Moscato wine. It's rare to find a place that nails the food, the service, and the atmosphere all at once, but Time and Place does just that. If I ever find myself back in Minnesota, this spot is a must-return. 10/10 means I highly recommend.

We had been eyeing Time & Place for while and today we finally went! The staff were very attentive and friendly! The inside of the restaurant was designed nicely for Valentine's Day. We started our meal with some coconut shrimp. It has a nice crunch and the sauce had a good kick. We wanted to try two sandwiches. We shared the Cubano and the Banh Mi! I loved the Banh Mi! It was so flavorful and fresh! The pulled pork in the Cubano was a little dry but still was flavorful. I loved the sauce. We also tried the Cajun dry rub wings which were okay but next time we want to try the Jamaican jerk sauce! Overall a good experience and we look forward to going back!

Small quaint little place off the beaten path. Ate here for the first time today with my girlfriend. This is her new favorite place, knows the staff all by name even. Food was very delicious and presentation was amazing! Flowers served on each dish and everything fresh and made in house. Fun new find. If you aren't into the jamaican style food they also have burgers, teriyaki chicken, pho soups. Give them a try you won't be disappointed, very attentive waiter. Nummy!

The Food was good give it 81\2 Out of 10 they didnt have there liquor license at the time but they had just opened the restaurant the other issue was the price was a little spending when you didn't get large portions of the oxtail I'd say Mom and Pop restaurant so the customer service was excellent!

So good! Both the service and the food were fantastic. I was so excited to see rasta pasta on the menu and it was delicious. We also had the Asian street fries and we were blown away. My friend thanked me four times for suggesting this place for dinner. I will be going back soon for sure.

Parking was easy on the lot behind the building, next to the Big White House. The building must be having renovations as there was scaffolding all around it, with a main staircase entryway covered to protect people from things falling. We walked in and I was impressed by the look of the entryway. Rich architecture history from the old post office. We waited for a hostess to either take our name or bring us to a table but no one ever came. There was 2 women with 2 kids sat at a low table in the entryway, near the bathroom. And I could see the dining room filled with families with little kids. I observed that no one was eating but had water glasses filled. I saw a little boy (4yo??) walk out of the dining room, across the front entrance behind the hostess table and down an empty corridor.... no adult?? And then I watched one of the women at the low top table get up, walk down that same empty corridor and come back a few moments later a little perturbed. She muttered something to her table mate that piqued my interest. After seeing their empty water glasses and milk cups (kids), I asked if THEY had been served yet. The other lady said they had been waiting for over an hour. Everything was starting to add up. No one was eating. We hadn't been greeted after standing there for about 10 mins. I never saw any waitstaff either. Nope, not gonna do that. And we walked out. Maybe I'll try again, maybe I won't. Time will tell.

The group sat in front of us received their dinners at 9:30 PM. We ordered two Ribeyes and a Filet steak dinners. Filet was 1" thick max. The ribeyes arrived in three pieces, cooked on all edges and definitely not to ordered temperature. Who precuts and cooks a ribeye steak like that?!? Brussels sprouts were burnt on one side. Service provider disappeared for 20+ minutes at a time. Disappointing all around. I would not recommend this place!

Harry is a friendly elderly man from Trinidad and Tobago. He is apparently very well known in Minnesota, particularly for his curries which I will be sure to try the next time I'm in state. Personally, I'm never able to resist jerk chicken and so upon sitting down, I promptly placed my order for jerk chicken and plantains. Unfortunately he was out of Caribbean punch but he made me a mixture of sorrel and ginger beer that was pretty good although a bit sweet for me. When my jerk chicken arrived at my table, I was in awe of the sheer amount of food I had unknowingly ordered (and very glad I hadn't ended up ordering the curry as well as one person) and of the smell. It was so hot it was smoking and I could immediately smell the flavors were legit and the chicken would be spicy. This jerk chicken was spicy in a way that sneaks up on you. I was surprised to feel my eyes watering! One of the other patrons was coughing from the spice of his meal so if you're not used to spicy food, definitely order a glass of milk in advance! The plantains were perfectly ripe, sweet and well cooked, just like I would make for myself! Harry was very kind and sweet and kept coming up to my table as well as his tables of regulars to chat and exchange stories. I'm not always the most chatty but I didn't feel uncomfortable speaking with Harry. Overall, I enjoyed my time and my meal at Harry Singh's and will be happy to return the next time I'm in the city
