I order carry out and love Aladdin's attentive customer service USUALLY. However, today I went in for lunch on a day off of work to enjoy time with my sister. We didn't get served for 15 minutes and once I asked a worker if we could get some service, there was no apology, no effort to take responsibility, no personality or anything! I work in this industry and have served on many people myself. I would have never handled the situation like this. If you go to this restaurant avoid Natalie as much as possible. Terrible service. This is probably my favorite Alladin's location. Service is always great, the food is consistent, and the place is clean and inviting. Love the hummus, falafel, and tabbouleh. They have a great vegan chili, too. Plus the hot sauce...yum! Get it on everything. I'll even just dip the pita in it. Tried Lebanese wine here for the first time, too. Not bad! Aladdins has such great food but such poor service. I've placed a handful of carry out orders at this location and every single time I pick up my food I've had to wait anywhere from 15-20 minutes extra when I arrive. If my food (one roll and one hummus chicken plate) is going to take 45 minutes, I would appreciate it if I was told that. I placed my order at 12:15 and my food was not ready until 12:55. The pick up time was supposed to be 20 minutes from when I placed my order.. To make matters worse I got halfway home only to realize they didn't put all my hot sauce in the bag and turned around to go back and get it. But I failed yet again. I should have checked the hot sauce itself, or should I say half a hot sauce. As the customer I shouldn't have to double check my order for accuracy and I most certainly shouldn't have to wait double the time. The workers including the manager failed to even acknowledge how much longer I had to wait for my order. An apology would've been nice instead being made to feel like my time doesn't matter. To top off my experience I arrived at home with a cold chicken salad roll. Complete waste of time, money and patience. This is also seemingly the only location where you do not receive a complimentary extra side of pita when requested, I think to pay almost $13 for a hummus based dish, the restaurant should probably give out more than two pieces of pita bread. I'll have to purchase pita bread from Giant Eagle later just to finish my lunch from Aladdins. read more

Alladin's one of the best restaurants in Cleveland to eat Middle Eastern food. Although some people consider it a chain, I do not because it is owned by a local family. The food is consistent from location to location. The portions are large and the food is very fresh. Everything is on site prepared in a very healthy manner. I never feel guilty eating food here. If you are watching what you eat or just trying to be a healthy person Aladdin's is the restaurant for you. read more

I ordered two different soups today because it was that kind of day and I was not feeling up to cooking. Had the order delivered through Door Dash. No complaints about the very fast delivery. The soups were so bland. The vegetable soup was practically all broth with very little vegetables. The lentil soup almost as bad with very little flavor. I am not sure how I missed Aladdin's searching for places to eat as my mom and I make a yearly day-trip to this part of Cleveland, but I am glad to find it this year. My mom (a vegetarian) and I love middle eastern/Mediterranean food and where she lives, there is not a lot. We stopped in as soon as we got into town and were the first patrons for the day. Service was a little slow to start, but the rest of the time was better. The restaurant is well appointed and comfortable and there was quite a crowd once it got closer to noon. Very large menu with a considerable amount of vegetarian items (also notated what is vegan and gluten free). We both had the brewed black iced tea and it was very tasty. It was a cool day, so my mom started with the Lentil soup which had swiss chard, potatoes, and other veggies. She was impressed by the size of the bowl and the taste (as was I when I sampled). Not salty and very fresh. She devoured it. I ordered a side salad with my main course and it was a large pile of a fresh variety of greens, tomatoes, onions, with cheese and dressing. It was almost too much for the salad plate it was on. I could have used some more of the house Aladdin's dressing too or would have probably asked for it on the side to spread more evenly the next time. It wasn't anything fancy, more of an oil and vinegar mix. My mom got the Falafel Salad which was a large plate of similar greens and 4 very large falafels. They were very tasty and well seasoned. Not greasy or over-fried. She does not normally like straight Tahini, but went with the Tahini yogurt dressing that was provided and she liked it, but said it wasn't enough by the time she got towards the end of her meal for all the falafel and the salad. I got the Shish Kabob rolled pita. It was sort of strange to see it rolled in a metallic wrapper like street food while my mom's food and other diners were more 'formal', but not a huge deal. It was warmed up well which was nice and the pita wrap was tasty. The beef inside was perfectly cooked and melted in in my mouth. I would have like a little more meat, but what was there was great. While my middle eastern friends do not find it authentic, I am not as good a judge of this. They appeal to a more standard American palate by offering middle eastern style pizzas that are a local favorite. Good option for informal gathering of friends or family. read more

A go to restaurant for my family. Although we all have a favorite menu item, any time we try something new we always enjoy it. The falafel and hummus are great appetizers. The ever-changing desserts are delicious as well. The food always tastes so fresh, the staff is friendly, and the service is fast. I cannot count the amount of times I have been here, and not once have I had a complaint. This place has the BEST hummus I have ever tried and if you go it is a MUST GET. If you do get the hummus and pita, would recommend getting a side of vegetables to go with it. Makes it even better! Additionally if you have any dietary restrictions this is a great place to go. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options, that are actually really tasty. Most of their menu options are also really customizable, just in case you want it spicier or are gluten free. The menu is extensive and on top of that they have a huge dessert selection, including some very beautiful looking cakes. Would definitely recommend and don't forget to try the hummus! read more

Got takeout tonight just because and picked Aladdin's. In the past their food had been great and reasonably priced. Very disappointed tonight though. Got one of our orders wrong - we ordered tuna and got turkey. My chicken mishwi was meh. Very small pieces of chicken that were rather dry. The only bright spot was the hot sauce on the hummus. I generally like Aladdin's, but this particular location is by far the worst. The last two times I ate there, the service was unbelievably slow. The ironic thing is there are always a bunch of servers on staff with very few customers. Specifically, this last time, my friend and I were the only two people in the restaurant. We ordered rolled pitas. I saw one takeout order come in. From anywhere in the dining room, you can see the servers standing in the kitchen talking and not paying attention to the customers or to the food coming up. I had to go get my water myself. My cake tasted as if it had been in the dessert case for about a week. I will not recommend this location to anyone. read more

We're new to the neighborhood and got takeout and were very impressed. We got a chicken shower a roll that was very tasty and fresh. The hummus was a large order and very good. The "pitza" we got was a bit I a stretch, but it was amazing. Pita base, hummus and a delicious combination of ground meat and tomatoes. Don't go there after 2pm Service is slow. Offered lunch special and when we ordered it, came back to say special ended at 2. We changed our order, but were still charged full price for our drinks that had been included in the special. Never were asked for drink refills. Took a long time to bring sugar to the table for our iced teas. No pita bread was brought to the table. Our food orders were brought our promptly, but after that, we were ignored.
