Quick service, good food, authentic middle eastern, good prices! 4 stars because all their plates and silverware are styrofoam or plastic! Terrible for the environment

Had a staff luncheon here. The food was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and didn't take long to order. I had the Aladdin platter, which came with a soft drink. The portion was enough for 2-3 meals, and did not take long to be prepared. The staff was friendly and the cook went out his was to ask me how my days was while fulfilling orders. The restaurant was very busy and I thought that was a nice extra gesture. Everyone's food looked amazing and I can't wait to come back and try more dishes.

Let me start by saying that I am very picky when it comes to gyros. I am new to the area and there is a place back home I frequented that no other gyros have ever measured up to. I went to Aladdin's with low expectations. That being said, Aladdin's actually topped them! This was the best gyro I have ever had, hand's down. I work downtown so I walked in at lunchtime. I was so impressed with the service too. Fast and friendly. The gyro comes with a soup or salad and since they found out I was a new customer they gave me both at no extra charge! Way more food than I can eat but it was cool of them to do. They are Mediterranean/middle-eastern folks who run the place so you know you're getting authentic. I know this may be a silly thing to get excited about but the pita the gyro was on was grilled and that seemed like a nice touch. It really did make the gyro better!

    Insect in my salad

I am a long time goer of this place but after today I won't be going anymore, I got chicken shawarma and rice with house salad I'm enjoying it and then I look and the fork and there is an insect in my salad most of the food was gone so it makes me question the cleanliness and standards of the food I will not be returning and hope you reconsider as well

Love the falafel sandwich (or chicken schwarma sandwich) and lentil soup. Quick and delicious for a lunchtime run.

Best Lebanese food! I always visit this place whenever I'm in town. I would even transport food back home to my family.

All of the food was brought out and the same time. The samosas were good, similar to Indian samosas but with a twist. The salad was simple but fresh. The afghan rice was delicious. The lamb was flavorful, but was cooked more well done than my liking and slightly dry. When I think of a kabob I imagine grilled meat, but the lamb didn't have any char, so I'm not sure how it was cooked. Over all the food and service were good. It's nice to try different foods and am glad I tried it. Definitely worth checking out. If I lived closer I would go back, but would try a different dish. Since I don't live in the area, if I found myself back here I would probably try a different restaurant.

A family member of mine spent time in Afghanistan, so I couldn't wait to try some of the cuisine myself. The staff greeted us warmly on arrival, and we took some time to peruse the menu before ordering at the counter. We chose an assortment of Beef and Lamb Shami and Beef Chaplee. I recognized the buzkashi picture on the wall and mentioned to the employee working the cash register that I knew a bit about it. He pulled up a video of a match on YouTube, pointing out that one of the horses in the match is famous. Our food took some time to arrive, but we were not disappointed - fresh and flavorful, plus very generous portions that allowed us to take a box home to enjoy later. If you want to try something a little new and different in the Lansing area, Noosh will fit the bill. Check it out the next time you're in the area!

The hummus tastes like it has a bunch of oil added. The meats are very dry. The rice is bland. Good for a quick eat, but don't expect more than McDonald's quality.

With four girls all at different stages of life, my much better half and I are typically frenetic throughout the week and certainly don't slow down on the weekends. We also have an additional challenge of working on MSU's campus and living on the westside- which, I'm sure I don't have to tell any of our readers, has been so much fun with construction. Some days, I crisscross the city six different times with meetings, practices, games, school fun nights, and family obligations. All of this means, that time for cooking at home can be limited and the energy to do so is even less. Even when I have my act together enough to make multiple meals ahead on a Sunday, the luxury of even thirty additional minutes at home and not warming a meal for starving adolescents seems sublime. We are often guilty of choosing the quicker option of dining out/take out, which brings on transactional costs in health and quality. So where does one find quick, healthier food options? Enter Middle Eats, the Warren, MI- based food chain that specializes in Mediterranean food which opened in Frandor in August of 2024. A cousin of chicken hot spot, Wing Snob, the endeavor aims to be fast, fresh, and healthy with its combination of bowls, wraps, and salads. They also strive to be convenient by offering a drive-thru option and online ordering to expedite their service. The full menu is customizable much like national branded fast Mexican assembly line chains, but absent the ability to watch your food as its prepared. What's Good The Spicy Chicken Shawarma Wrap ($8.99) was stout. Packed with shredded chicken that was tender and flavorful, pita chips, lettuce, grilled onions (optional, $.99), pickles, garlic spread, and spicy Dillio sauce. Dillio sauce is a yogurt-based dressing with garlic, shallots, lemon juice, and dill. The sauce was yummy but not overpowering nor overly fiery. A reasonably priced handheld that is big on yum and fills the hunger pangs. Not as healthy, but also high on the tasty factor are the Loaded Shawarma Fries ($11.99). I ordered them with steak ($2.00) and I was not happy I did. Thick cut, carnival style fries are topped with meat, feta cheese, diced onions, jalapeños, tomato (none for me thanks), and spicy Dillio sauce. This dish was large enough to share amongst the family, and we had leftovers. The added bonus was the pita bread on the bottom that soaks up all the delicious drippings. What's Really Good Middle Eats will be a go-to at our house for years to come because of their bowls. Whether you choose rice or lettuce as a foundation, you can load up the rest of the bowl with plenty of protein and veggies from a wide variety. My wife ordered the Falafel Bowl ($12.99) which a strong choice for vegetarians. Crisp, lightly fried falafel (deep fried balls of ground chickpeas and herbs) are joined by your choice of hummus and/or garlic spread, regular or spicy Dillio sauce, and then lettuce, feta, onions, rice, pickles, and tomatoes. The falafel was satisfying in both the exterior crunch and the warm and fluffy interior. The herbaceous flavors melded well with the hummus and veggies. Additional upcharges include cucumber, eggplant, or grilled peppers. On a previous lunch visit with a colleague, I ran into a high school friend who was there with her daughter who didn't have school that day. She revealed that Middle Eats has become their restaurant of choice for Mediterranean fare because of the convenience and value. My teammate and I both ordered bowls, him the Chicken Shawarma ($12.99) and I the Surf & Turf ($21.33). Both of us were satisfied and with the heaping mounds of meat and veggies and the accompanying sauces. Best Bite A special nod this month goes to the Fire Grilled Shrimp ($6.99/Skewer). Plump and juicy with just a touch of kick, but a ton of flavor, these crustaceans rival many of the top seafood and steakhouses in the area. Added to a salad or bowl and they are incredible, but also divine on their own atop a bed of rice. I look forward to finding time to enjoy Middle Eats Fire Grilled Shrimp in new ways including in wraps or on loaded fries.
