Went on a Tuesday night - the restaurant was not busy at all. The service was excellent; our waitress filled our waters and restocked our pitas per our requests (complimentary delicious pita!). We ordered the mixed grill set for 4 and ordered the tabouli salad and hummus. The portion size was more than enough for 4 people, and we took home leftovers. The chicken skewer was a tad salty, but the beef kebab was super tender and my favorite of the skewers! The rice was fluffy and complemented the meat well. Hands down my favorite place for kabob in the entire Lansing/East Lansing area. I'm Afghan and we know our kabob lol. The portions are VERY generous, I always have one full meal for leftovers So many side options, multiple types of salads, soup, hummus, fries, etc and you get to choose TWO! I usually get the fattouch salad and hummus. Detail oriented-- From the spices to the pickled veggies and garnish, it all adds to the flavor and all goes amazing together Saffron rice is perfectly cooked, fluffy long grains with that signature Lebanese flavor is to die for. Friendly staff, they are so sweet and nice Clean interior and comfortable booths. There's a nice glass water feature at the entrance and the booths are new and clean. My friend was visiting East Lansing so I drove up to meet her for dinner. We didn't really know where to go so I did some yelping and Chtoura Grill popped up and it sounded good so we made our way there! The restaurant is super spacious with tons of seating. The booths were kind of giving an elevated diner moment! You can seat yourself and within a few minutes a staff member came by with some menus. Everything looked good on the menu so we decided to share a small hummus and small baba ghanoush as appies. I then ordered the chicken kabob plate as my entree. The entrees come with 2 sides so I did the cauliflower soup and some french fries. We didn't have to wait long for our food and I was amazed by the portions. The small hummus and baba ghanoush were definitely way more than enough for 2 people! The sides were also generous portions, especially the fries. It was definitely too much food but excited for leftovers! Everything was pretty delicious but the standout was the hummus. I don't know what they put in it but it was soo good! I was greeted by the most welcoming woman, Diána. She was helping me with the menu when I received a call. I needed to return back to the MSU pet hospital because my fur baby had taken a turn for the worse and I had to make that dreadful decision .Diána's compassionate heart heard what was happening and thank you beautiful soul for saying "I want to give you a hug." because it's just what I needed at that moment.. she handed me my order to go without out me asking (hummus and tabouli and pita) It was delicious!!!(when I finally was able to eat) you can tell it's homemade and very authentic !! She also insisted on paying for my lunch out of the kindness of her heart too!!! I will definitely be back when I am in Lansing again and not for the reason I was this time. What a delish place to eat! I came here for dinner with friends and had a great time. I started with a strawberry lemonade (to die for!), tabbouleh, hummus, garlic sauce, and pita bread. we shared and it was certainly more than enough. Next we got the shawarma pizza, I wasn't too happy with this dish, the flavors of the pizza were fairly mediocre, the chicken shawarma was ok, i wouldn't recommend this dish. For our last entree we had the half chicken... i cannot express how worth the wait this dish is! The flavors are so beautiful and complex, and their charcoal grill they use leaves a wonderful crust to the outside. We also had a side of french fries which were perfectly cooked. We ended the meal with pistachio baklava (very tasty) and some warm tea (which was complementary). The service was kind but she didn't check on us as much as I felt she should. that being said, the dishes i mentioned were so amazing that any negatives aren't worth me leaving anything other than a 5 star. The pita here is absolutely delicious. I came here on a Friday night and there were plenty of tables. Each plates come with two sides so you might be thinking about ordering hummus to start but no need - the serving size is gigantic! I also got a rice pudding and it was tasty, sweet and well spiced. Go hungry! Chtoura has fantastic hot, fresh pitas. The medium garlic sauce would feed a small army, so I was delighted. I enjoyed the ginger carrot juice and my son liked his mango strawberry smoothie. The kafta kabob was fantastic and so was the hashwi. My husband got an olive and cheese pie was ok, like a thin crust pizza wo the red sauce. He was a bit sad the olives were not kalamatas. I think this is the only item we might not get again, but it was still satisfactory. The entrees are wonderful and the portions large. Yum!!! We will be back soon! read more

Good news, bad news Ate here today for lunch. Ordered the Greek gyro and a side of baba ganoush. Price was reasonable at $15.00. The Good - it had to be the best baba ganoush that I have had in the USA. Of course it came with fresh bread. The Bad - the gyro was terrible. A few slices of pre-fabricated gyros meat heated on a flat top grill. Meat was sparse. The topping was lettuce, tomato and onions. Lettuce was old and really doesn't belong on a gyro. The dressing was creamy but didn't taste like tzatziki. If you want a gyro, go to Lou and Harry's. Unfortunately, they use prefabricated gyro meat but give you a lot of meat. I greatly prefer gyro meat carved from a turning spit. The service was good. I'll go here again and will order something other than gyro. read more

Amazing!, Saw this place opened recently so we stopped in with zero expectations didn't even look at the menu or anything. Hummus and garlic sauce were both amazing and plated beautifully. Unfortunately due to a power outage we didn't get to try the homemade pita bread since they had to throw their supply out but I can imagine it was just as delicious as the dips and I won't subtract points for something out of their control. For my entree I got the spicy lamb kebabs and was pleasantly surprised when it came with TWO sides, I got a delicious Greek salad with a great dressing and a chicken and vegetable soup that was not just just "chicken noodle soup" like you might expect. It had some delicious warm spices that really elevated it. The presentation on the kebabs was amazing and it looked so good I didn't even take the time to take a photograph lol. The kebabs were perfectly juicy and smoky with a nice hint of heat and the what I think is saffron rice was perfectly cooked aswell. Service was speedy, a couple seemingly college students tag teamed our table and did a great job, they may be a little new to the service world but absolutely did an amazing job.
