They hoped to get me into a car within a couple of hours. Had a family dinner in PA that I had to make by 8:00pm. Finally got a car at 5:20 and rolled into PA an hour after everyone had left. How do you maintain a car rental business when you don't have cars for people who have made reservations? Got the following from the district manager: Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience. On behalf of Dollar, I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced due to your vehicle not being ready [Insert Personal Message] If I can provide any further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact me directly by replying to this email. It actually says in the email, [Insert Personal Message] Emailed the District Manager's supervisor also with no response. Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where they know how to "take the reservation" they just don't know how to "hold the reservation". Even Jerry got a car on time, just not the one he reserved.

Let me start by saying that while at the Las Vegas Harry Reid airport I had to clean my own toilet before using it, here the first floor bathroom sparkled and was quite nice. No chipped gross mirrors here. I'm looking at you, Harry Reid. I'm giving 4 stars because all of the eateries were closed. If you have arrivals and departures, they should be open. You want to provide an exceptional customer experience right? Then you need to be open. Staff was present and friendly. The elevator worked well and was clean. The escalator was working fine. I didn't take it because of luggage. Although there was construction, I didn't feel hindered in any way. Passenger pick up was convenient and you could load right at the front doors. In all, it's a nice little airport!

I did Amtrak. I flew. Did all the things! The Detroit airport is about 25 minutes from my parents house and the Flint airport is about 50 minutes from my parents house. Flint airport, over the years, became my go to as: 1) soooo much cheaper. 2) soooo much cleaner. 3) soooo less of people. Win win win. Love this airport forever, even though I'll likely never step foot in it again. Wins my vote!

    When I was researching car rental companies at FNT recently, I picked Enterprise since it was the…read morehighest rated of the lot at the time (3.1 stars, I believe). I am so glad I did since they went above and beyond to help me on what had been turning out to be a bad travel day. My flight was delayed long enough that I finally gave this branch a call to see if they closed right at 11, or if they were open until the last flight gets in. The person I spoke with said that they would be there until 11:30 at the latest and helped answer some questions while I was starting to form a Plan B. When the flight delays became late enough that I felt sure I wasn't going to make it even by 11:30, I called back and the rep assisted in finding a branch that opened early and had small enough cars that I could drive so that I could make my 9am client meeting 45 minutes away the next morning. We modified my reservation, and I booked myself a hotel down the street from the Grand Blanc branch. When I landed at 11:40, I did not expect to receive a phone call, saying that they had waited for me after all and to come on down to the counter. While I still ended up staying by the airport instead of driving the 45 minutes to my original hotel, the peace of mind to drive straight to my hotel to get to bed and then being able to start driving to the client meeting by 7:45 the next morning was invaluable, especially after having dealt with a 6-hour flight delay, of which 3 of it, I was stuck in my plane seat. I'm sure I was a crankier version of myself, but this branch's service was instrumental in making my day much better than it otherwise would have been.     RENTERS BEWARE OF FALSE DAMAGE CLAIMS AT THIS LOCATION!!! I rented a vehicle here, arriving at…read moreapproximately 10:30 PM when it was pitch black outside. After waiting 15 minutes for an employee to wander up to the counter to help a long line of customers, I was finally given the keys to my vehicle. There was no inspection of the vehicle by an Enterprise employee and I was unable to inspect the vehicle myself as it was too dark and the parking lot is not well lit. The following day, I did look at the vehicle, taking photos of some door dings. Our rental period went on, with no accidents, incidents or any sort of damage to the vehicle. We returned the car prior to normal business hours, so again, there was no Enterprise associate to be found. After returning home from the trip, I received a call from the location stating that there was damage to the front grille. Luckily I have a video of the vehicle from when I dropped it off, and there is no damage to be found. However, Enterprise continues to harass me and has processed a damage claim against me. I have involved my attorney but this is absolutely ridiculous. I will never rent from Enterprise again and hope that this helps others look elsewhere to avoid such unscrupulous business practices.

    I have rented vehicles numerous times from this Budget since it is located at the airport. In this…read morelocation, Budget and Avis share a counter near baggage claim. I typically make a reservation on-line. When I arrive pick-up is a smooth, easy process: I provide an ID and reservation number, wait a few minutes to receive the keys and then I'm on my way. I'm usually able to complete this process before my luggage arrives on the conveyor belt. I definitely recommend a thorough inspection of the vehicle before you drive off. I often see a lot of knicks, dings, scratches, chips in the windshield, etc. on the vehicles. Once, the inner part of the wheel well was coming apart on a vehicle - they offered to replace it if a similar vehicle in its class became available. You want to be sure that all is documented before you drive away. I feel like half of the time the vehicles smell like someone was smoking in them. Sometimes I can tell that the vehicle has been vacuumed but often there is still bug residue all over the outside. I image this is because they don't have a lot of time or enough staff to work on the turn-over in-between rentals. Otherwise, I would say that I don't have any issues - at least nothing that keeps me from being a repeat customer. Overall, it continues to be an okay experience.

It has now been several days of calling and following up ourselves, and there is still no vehicle available and no clear resolution. Each time we reach out, we are simply told "sorry," with no timeline and no urgency. This left us stranded at the airport and scrambling to find alternative transportation, while other companies also had no availability. The lack of accountability, communication, and customer care is extremely disappointing. If you cannot guarantee reservations, that needs to be communicated upfront. A confirmed reservation should mean something. We will not be using Budget again after this experience.
