When I was researching car rental companies at FNT recently, I picked Enterprise since it was the highest rated of the lot at the time (3.1 stars, I believe). I am so glad I did since they went above and beyond to help me on what had been turning out to be a bad travel day. My flight was delayed long enough that I finally gave this branch a call to see if they closed right at 11, or if they were open until the last flight gets in. The person I spoke with said that they would be there until 11:30 at the latest and helped answer some questions while I was starting to form a Plan B. When the flight delays became late enough that I felt sure I wasn't going to make it even by 11:30, I called back and the rep assisted in finding a branch that opened early and had small enough cars that I could drive so that I could make my 9am client meeting 45 minutes away the next morning. We modified my reservation, and I booked myself a hotel down the street from the Grand Blanc branch. When I landed at 11:40, I did not expect to receive a phone call, saying that they had waited for me after all and to come on down to the counter. While I still ended up staying by the airport instead of driving the 45 minutes to my original hotel, the peace of mind to drive straight to my hotel to get to bed and then being able to start driving to the client meeting by 7:45 the next morning was invaluable, especially after having dealt with a 6-hour flight delay, of which 3 of it, I was stuck in my plane seat. I'm sure I was a crankier version of myself, but this branch's service was instrumental in making my day much better than it otherwise would have been. RENTERS BEWARE OF FALSE DAMAGE CLAIMS AT THIS LOCATION!!! I rented a vehicle here, arriving at approximately 10:30 PM when it was pitch black outside. After waiting 15 minutes for an employee to wander up to the counter to help a long line of customers, I was finally given the keys to my vehicle. There was no inspection of the vehicle by an Enterprise employee and I was unable to inspect the vehicle myself as it was too dark and the parking lot is not well lit. The following day, I did look at the vehicle, taking photos of some door dings. Our rental period went on, with no accidents, incidents or any sort of damage to the vehicle. We returned the car prior to normal business hours, so again, there was no Enterprise associate to be found. After returning home from the trip, I received a call from the location stating that there was damage to the front grille. Luckily I have a video of the vehicle from when I dropped it off, and there is no damage to be found. However, Enterprise continues to harass me and has processed a damage claim against me. I have involved my attorney but this is absolutely ridiculous. I will never rent from Enterprise again and hope that this helps others look elsewhere to avoid such unscrupulous business practices. read more

Great no frills airport rent-a-car joint. We needed a cheap inexpensive car to drive back to Detroit. We found the cheapest rates here. We reserved online a few hours before we took off from Atlanta. We arrived, we deplaned, walked to the terminal, walked up to the counter. We were greeted, we told him the reservation. He tapped on the computer, paperwork, blah, blah, blah... he tells us directions to where the car is located. We do the walk around, stick our bags in the trunk and we were on our merry way back to Detroit. Yes, no BS and no drama. I love places like this. And yes, we were offered bottles of water which we delightfully received. Thank you Enterprise FNT. You're the best!! read more

I received a call from Reya who I believed was calling to "address" my concerns. She confirmed she was the assistant manager of the Bishop Airport location. She did not express any concern about the issue I had with the reservation, nor did she apologize for my inconvenience. Additionally, at no point did anyone offer me an alternate date/time to pick up a vehicle. She only called to advise she could not reimburse me for the out of pocket expenses that resulted from their error. When asked if there was a branch or area manager I could speak with she hung up in my face. read more

I'll give FNT Enterprise five big stars. The check out process was pretty seamless, although I had to wait 10 or 15 minutes for the car to become available. The drop off procedure is a little wonky. There's really no attendant in the parking lot. Just park your car, walked back into the rental counter and it check in. Overall the car was clean, ran great and customer service on both ends of the transaction was stellar. read more

If this companies motto is "customer service", maybe someone from Headquarters needs to spend sometime at this location. I have reached out to CEO, no response so obviously the Branch Manager Tammy was right, they don't care. Vehicles smell, customer service is horrific, and we were left stranded at the airport. It was a nightmare the minute I walked to the counter, she harassed me from the beginning and when I couldn't handle the smell of marijuana in the vehicle I was the bad guy. read more

I showed the lady my confirmation number ,they will let you reserve cars even though they don't have any? Pathetic. So unprofessional and the clerk was not helpful at all. I made a reservation online for a car that was confirmed and upon arrival my car was not available. Staff was unconcerned and not helpful. If enterprise local staff knows that there will be nothing available they should communicate that to the consumer. There were two people behind the counter and they could have been proactive in communicating that a car would not be available at the appointment time. I will be using Avis in the future. read more

The young lady working that day saved from a difficult and embarassing situation. I had made an error when i made my reservation. I did not have a car waiting for me and that was my own fault! Despite being " sold out " she found me a great little car tjat has suited my needs well. She was my hero that day! She gets five stars! But have to give the company four stars. Despite being very busy they had that poor young lady working by herslef and answering phones! The line was backed up and she had no help. I use Enterprise every time I travel, which in my career is quite often. Their cars are always in great shape, clean and well maintained. In Flint you have to walk further to where the enterprise cars are parked but that doesn't take away from the quality of service. The staff is always friendly and courteous and my reservation is always ready. The only improvement I could suggest is maybe adding a golf cart ride to the car on bad weather days. read more

I am a fan of Enterprise. They have always appeared to hire good people and train them well. The same cannot be said for National Car Rental. The difference could not be more clear than at Bishop Airport at their neighboring rental desks. In addition, the Asst Manager, Cory, was extraordinary when my car broke down in Ohio and the roadside assistance did not respond. He got me a replacement car at another dealership, ensured I got to my destination, and then took care of the bill in light of the inconvenience. i will rent with them again. read more

The staff was kind and helpful. I am 6'2 and when I asked if I could fit into the car they wanted to rent me, the agent actually took a moment to think and make sure I would be able to. The only reason why I am giving them 4/5 stars is bc some Jack wagon before me smoked in the car and they didn't do much to get rid if the smell when they detailed it. read more

The staff was very nice and I received my car quickly without any problems. I was disappointed, however, that they tried to overcharge me twice. They charge a 20% security deposit without first informing you, then they tried to overcharge me on my pre-paid gas, even though I signed a contract at the lower price. This is the way you want a rental car experience to be. No line at the counter, helpful staff, good vehicle and you just walk out the door at the airport and get your car. It's one of the benefits of not being at the large airports--no shuttle needed. I returned the car at 5am, before they were open. Just park in open spot and drop the keys in the Dropbox. read more

Desk clerk was very friendly and efficient. She braved the cold to bring our car up close to the terminal for us. It was freezing cold, very hard on Arizonans. Much better than the last time we were there when it was pouring rain and we had to walk to the car. Obviously different clerks. We were very happy with the service and the car this trip. read more
