They accept animals from shelters from the surrounding states so when you adopt here you are saving an animal and giving it a loving forever home.

I adopted…read morea dog who had several ongoing health conditions that were evident in his medical history which was not disclosed at the time of adoption. They were informed that I did not have the financial capacity in order to accommodate a dog that would need significant financial commitment beyond standard vet appointments and care. When I took him to the vet, they pointed out several lifelong health issues that were extremely severe and would need hundreds of dollars' worth of treatment monthly. When I looked his past medical history, it seems to have been the shelter was pursuing ongoing treatment of these issues but decided not to inform me although I was very up front with my limitations. Additionally, I only had him for 5 days at the vet clinic they had discovered that he had a severe double ear infection to the point he was bleeding, clearly not something that developed in just a few days. When I adopted him, they told me and my family he was a healthy dog that would need little medical assistance and that he was vet checked which was clearly a lie considering the state we brought him home in. Over the past 5 days we have bonded and he has gotten along with all our family members and even our other dog. I unfortunately, had to surrender him due to the lack of disclosure of information, when I talked to the operations manager the solution she gave me was that she was sorry and that it can be hard to diagnose things. But looking in his medical chart there has been a long-standing issue with this very same problem and was once on the same very expensive medicine that we were expected to put him on. I am hurt that there was little to no resolution other than taking a dog away from a loving family that just didn't have enough money to accommodate to his needs, but also little accountability of their actions. The general manager was largely dismissive, never offered any solutions to me and my visibly extremely upset family. Instead, we left the office in tears with an "I'm sorry that happened". And just to highlight to any prospective adopters from this shelter in their contract it says they are not liable for any misinformation they may give as it may be from third party sources, in other words it is okay for them to misinform and lie to your face. But to leave this review on a more positive note I fortunately was able to treat his double ear infection before surrendering him, he is so deserving of a loving home unfortunately I just cannot afford a dog with such severe medical issues.

There is a groomer on site who has always done a great job with nail trims. Both of my dogs have thrived there and have been so excited when we get to the parking lot. The staff have been consistent: Maggie, Megan, Jamie, Eric, Andrea ,Laura (2),and Debbie Barron, massage therapist. Dr Dina is the veterinarian my three pets have seen. I feel she and her staff have listened to my concerns and been sensitive to my pets. One recently died at the age of 15 after a rapid decline . His last year was good with kindly massage care from Ms Barron. I have now a rescue dog obtained from a non-profit in Texas. She arrived on a bus after a 33 hour trip not too well. Dr Dina diagnosed and treated her compassionately and well. I recommend this practice. I do believe that a pet owner has to be aware of their pet, advocate for their needs and listen to the doctor also. It can be a fine balance but I believe there is goodwill which is important. I think back on my different pets care and realize I could have taken better steps had I listened more such as with my elderly dog Lewis. We all want our pets to recover and live for ever but like humans they do leave us no matter how we might wish otherwise.

The assistant on the phone booked a time for me to come in and we came in early. The place had a foul odor and did not smell clean. It almost mad my mom sick, it was almost vomit inducing. The assistant was nice!and earned these 3 stars. We waited quite a while but I couldn't complain because this was a short notice appointment. The vet finally comes out and immediately asks for x-rays. Umm this was not planned, no I don't carry radiographs in my purse to whip out at a moment's notice. But we did have her medical records overall which I thought was more than sufficient. He calls us to the back and me and my mom walk to the back with the dog and he says the dog shouldn't be wearing this sort of cast, berates the vet who did this and said they must be young and in experienced and proceeded to tell us he would need to sedate the dog. My mom shrieks in protest, like I would ever be crazy enough to let this man sedate my dog. I thanked him for his time and was ready to leave. He talked in a condescending way and I will leave any situation before anyone makes me come out of my calm and professional demeanor. We left quickly and will never return nor suggest this place for vet services.

We have worked with trainers to manage his reactivity, and he has improved so much with us - but he absolutely would not let anyone else come near him to put a leash on and walk him. We couldn't figure out what to do with him while we worked because no one could really get near him. We tried 4 other walkers over 5 months and I truly lost all hope - he HATED them all. I reached out to my trainer in desperation, who recommend Tamara. Even after explaining my dogs behaviors and failed walkers, she was still willing to take on the challenge. She came over to meet Reese and just sat on the floor with a million treats until he was comfortable. She then did this for every day he needed a walk until he was comfortable. She has been walking Reese for about 8 months and sometimes he even still has a freak out on her when he has off days. She never gives up on him, she is always patient with him and she even brings other dogs with her to socialize him on walks. Not to mention she has learned his triggers outside and avoids them or manages Reese's behaviors on walks. I do not know what we would do without her. I never would have imagined that Reese and her could be besties now - she even came to his birthday party. If you have a reactive dog, I would not trust anyone else walking them besides Tamara.

Dunkin wants my rent money(lol) to pay for her bills to get her back to normal I'm going to try their credit card payments and hopefully she gets better after the treatment 5/3/17 my cat is showing more signs of jaundice but i am very happy with dunkin vet because they do not charge me for extra visits, only what i take home (not more than $60) they show that they really care for my cat, they have one themselves (i think) and they even thank me and my husband for helping them get our cat to cooperate. i recommend this place for basic needs like diagnosing and shots
