We have worked with trainers to manage his reactivity, and he has improved so much with us - but he absolutely would not let anyone else come near him to put a leash on and walk him. We couldn't figure out what to do with him while we worked because no one could really get near him. We tried 4 other walkers over 5 months and I truly lost all hope - he HATED them all. I reached out to my trainer in desperation, who recommend Tamara. Even after explaining my dogs behaviors and failed walkers, she was still willing to take on the challenge. She came over to meet Reese and just sat on the floor with a million treats until he was comfortable. She then did this for every day he needed a walk until he was comfortable. She has been walking Reese for about 8 months and sometimes he even still has a freak out on her when he has off days. She never gives up on him, she is always patient with him and she even brings other dogs with her to socialize him on walks. Not to mention she has learned his triggers outside and avoids them or manages Reese's behaviors on walks. I do not know what we would do without her.
