Offering weekend hours is a business decision, and I don't feel it's fair to pass that added cost on to clients who often have no choice but to seek care when their pets are sick. Comparing your fees to an emergency hospital doesn't change how I feel. Many pet owners aren't choosing between a weekday visit and an emergency hospital--they're simply trying to get their pet the care it needs as soon as possible. When your pet is ill, waiting isn't always an option. I respect that every business sets its own pricing, but I also believe pet owners have the right to express when those prices feel excessive.
