I used to go to Dr Alvi. When Dr. Ali took over the practice eight years ago I still kept on going there. I brought a lot of sick animals to him throughout the years and his professionalism and patience was phenomenal even though the ultimate outcome would be death, Dr. Ali did everything in his power to nurture and save the animals. Two years ago, I brought a cat that was paralyzed and needed its bladder expressed. Every day for two months, he took the time and showed the patience to express this cat's bladder. multiple times a day for seven days out of the week. Not many veterinarians would do that. I've had my dog for 8 years and in those 8 years, she never had fleas. I took her here for skin allergies and she got fleas from the visit. Just a few weeks later, she was infested with fleas. They DO NOT clean up after each pet visit. I know this to be true because the table was covered in random pet fur during our visit for her allergies. This place only cares about fattening up the bill. I hope they enjoyed the money spent because I'm not coming back. My dog and yours, deserve better!!! read more

Started bringing my cat here 4 years ago at the recommendation of a friend who had repeated excellent experiences. As a medical professional I can appreciate the vets thought process and logical approach. He doesn't order unnecessary tests. Extremely reasonable prices!! Please keep in mind they accept emergency walkins and it can cause delays. I had to bring my cat in for a surgical emergency and was unbelievably thankful for their willingness to accommodate my situation. So if you have to wait a little longer, know it's not intentional, and they will give your pet the same attention should an emergency arise. read more

I have been taking my pets to Dr. Alvi for over 20-years he was a great man, great vet, and very caring not only for my pets for me and my children when my husband passed away. My pet became very depressed Dr. Alvi knew exactly what to do. He has taken care of multiple pets over these 20-years. Now that Dr. Alvi retired I do like the new vet and best yet Claudia is still there she is absolutely awesome the place would not be the same without her there. DVM does adequate job caring for pets. Should note Dr. Alvi no longer owns the practice. He is retired and sold the practice to another DVM.

I don't recommend them place this guy is unreliable and he cost me a puppy and almost cost me a whole liter of puppies. Do not go to this place they don't care about you or your pet! read more

Definitely disappointed with this veterinary clinic. The doctor would not answer my questions or concerns regarding my dogs health. I spent more time waiting in the lobby then my dog actually been seen by the vet, At times I felt like the vet didn't know what he was talking about. I had to look on the website or even call and ask around. My last visit when I brought this up to the doctor that I felt my dog was not improving as a matter fact getting worse with his recommendations he looked me in my face and said if you would like his records and take them somewhere else I don't have a problem. Refused emergency care because there was "no appointment". That is unacceptable. You can't plan an emergency or a tragedy.

I needed to write a review after the service I have gotten here and to thank them immensely. I am "that" pet owner who was in denial about my dogs condition. I came in 2 years before and had my dog looked at. He was 14 at the time with a spine and arthritis issue just starting. He had pain and he was not his active self anymore. Dr. Ali gave me meds and warned me that due to his age and condition the meds were only a temporary fix and he would most likely be on them till they did not work. I went to another vet and because it was an inexpensive and quick in and out place they simply just kept prescribing meds and not discussing his condition with me. Skip 2 years ahead, he is now 16 and I see the pain and growing spinal issue, meds are not working any longer. I tried to sit with a vet, but due to Covid, they are only doing curbside drop offs and phone diagnosis. When it comes time to make a big decision about your dogs fate, that simply will not do. I reached back out to Alvi and brought my dog in to discuss his condition. I needed reassurance that I was making the right decision and that it was time. Dr. Ali took the time to go through his old records and reexamine my dog and let me know things were in fact worse. I am grateful he saw us both and was very professional, but gentle at the end. Claudia at the front desk was so nice and helpful. When I am ready to welcome a new pet, Dr. Ali will be his vet. read more
