For this reason, I never pursued the option of straightening my teeth. That is.. until I met Dr. Debi Strand. Debi and I first met at a networking lunch event through the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce. I thought that I was a busy bee until I met her! We began to see each other everywhere and quickly became great friends. Hearing her talk about her product and the impact that it makes on peoples lives was inspiring and I knew I wanted to give it a shot! So we did a consultation and before I knew it I was wearing braces!! Entering the office of Dr. Debi is unlike any experience I have ever had. It certainly does not feel like a dental office. Beautiful wood floors, meticulously laid tiles in the bathroom, dental chair that massages you, bright open and cheerful.. She put a lot of thought into her patient experience. I have to say that I have never enjoyed ANYTHING about going to the dentist but going to see Dr. Debi was a pleasurable experience. Spending time there was anything but uncomfortable.. in fact.. it was a lot of unexpected fun!!! I looked forward to the "chair talk" and seeing the drastic results from visit to visit. What makes the experience so much fun is how excited Dr. Debi is to show you your results (which are absolutely unbelievable). What people wait years for with regular braces and Invisalign can be accomplished in a matter of months with Dr. Debi. I cannot say that the experience was not uncomfortable... but after each visit and seeing my before and after pictures... it has been 100% worth it. No one can say that Dr. Debi does not know what they are going through when she puts these braces on! She had them put on herself so she could "walk in her patient's shoes and truly understand their concerns". What an amazing thing to do for your clients! I highly recommend Dr. Debi Strand. She is an amazing dentist. Her expertise and professionalism are one to be reckoned with. You will be amazed with the quick transformation and extremely impressed with your results! I was! Long story short, I found this practice on Yelp. They had fabulous reviews. I called and got an appointment within two days (it was not an emergency). Dr. Christopher Stanosheck thoroughly evaluated my tooth and crown. Luckily, he was able to re-cemented it back in place! It was good I went in, because I had bacteria and debris that had worked its way under the crown and it was irritating my gum, etc. He was able to clean that out and probably saved me from getting an infection and having a much bigger problem. Dr. Stanosheck was very kind as well as knowledgeable, and his office staff was extremely nice and welcoming. I would recommend this practice to anyone without reservation.

I have given much thought to writing a review but I want to share with you the good and not so good…read moreexperiences I have had with Dr. Hernandez. First, Dr. Hernandez is a very talented dentist. He has a very friendly personality and he has surrounded himself with similar assistants in his practice. He uses all the state of the art equipment and techniques and has a very clean and modern office. He has done several procedures on my teeth and my wife's and in general I have been quite satisfied. However, the last two visits did not leave me with positive feelings. I went back for a follow-up appointment to have two implants he had done earlier checked on. They were healing fine but a little more time was needed before proceeding with putting crowns on. Being a snow bird I was scheduled to leave for Ct for the summer so I decided to have the crowns put on there. When that dentist took x-rays he informed me that the implants were not parallel, as they should be, and one was tilted toward the back of my mouth. He did say he could compensate for this but it should not have happened to begin with. Also, at the time of the follow-up appointment, Dr. Hernandez probed two other teeth (22 & 27) which had crowns. When he took the probe out of my mouth he showed me some white substance on the end of the pick which he said was puss. He said that was an indication of an infection. He said he would need to take the crown off of 27 to clean up the area and he advised he should do the same thing with 22 to make sure that did not happen with that tooth also. On the way out I made an appointment for three weeks later. As I drove home I thought why, if I had an infection, he did not prescribe an antibiotic or ask his assistant to set up a return appointment sooner. When I got to CT I had two other dentists look at tooth #27 only to be told, by both, that there was no sign of an infection. Dr. Hernandez was not honest about this situation. I have found, over time, there are two types of dentists. Conservative and aggressive. Dr. Hernandez fits the latter. He would like you to have as good looking set of teeth as possible albeit that some procedures to get there may not be necessary. Because he was going to take two crowns off that was totally unnecessary, at a cost of 1-2 thousand dollars to have new ones made, I will not be going back to him. In general I would recommend Dr. Hernandez but make sure you are comfortable with what he wants to do and if you are not, obtain a second opinion. For me, when someone is not truthful with me I lose respect for them. I will find another dentist in the future.

I was there in December and got a filling and they scheduled me for my next cleaning in 6 months. When I went back, 6 months later, I had an emergency cavity that had get filled ASAP or I would need a root canal. I just don't understand why they didn't schedule me earlier before it became that bad, I know cavities don't just show up over night. I'm just disappointed in the lack of care they had for my teeth.
