He was very nice to talk with and took the time to explain step by step how they would pack up my baby grand piano before they moved it to its destination in Monroe, NY. The price was $650 which included gas, tolls, packing it up securely/safely, and setting it up at the new location. He also asked if any steps or stairs were at either location since they charged an extra fee for any steps over 3. Sher was very honest and upfront which I appreciated. My cousins met the movers at my house at 9:00 am on Saturday. They told me that they were on time, early even, and did an excellent job getting the baby grand out of the house. They broke it down, wrapped it up to protect it and got it on the truck very quickly. It was comforting to know that my piano was in good hands while 3,000 miles away. To have the piano covered for its full value they asked me to pay $150 extra for insurance. How can a piano moving company not have their own liability insurance that covers the total cost of a piano??? Eventually I got tired of texting and went with someone else. Bottom line, train the people answering the phone so they understand the business, can make decisions and don't have to go back and forth to "the boss" and make the customers wait all day over text to get basic agreements settled. Very unprofessional.

Truly a wonderful experience having Joan tune my new piano. Joan is clearly a master of her craft with tons of experience. She patiently answered my 10 billion questions about new piano ownership, and even took a lot of time to research specifics that were applicable to my piano, since it's a hybrid acoustic piano/digital "silent" piano. She also offered reasonable, practical, solutions and options to ensure optimal maintenance, for instance with maintaining ideal humidity levels in my home as well as potentially installing humidity controllers within the piano. Lastly, it's important to mention her prices were very reasonable. I can tell she really cares about what she does. I do not recommend Calvin's services as a piano tuner! His ear no longer has the ability to…read morerecognize between a natural note and a sharp. Calvin finished tuning my piano and I gave it a test run and immediately realized he had tuned two keys to the same note. When I pointed this out, not only did he gaslight me and say he didn't hear it, he also said the piano had to rest for 6 months before the tuning would settle properly. By that point the piano would need to be tuned again so that is bogus. After calling and texting, I finally convinced Calvin to come back and fix the note issue. He continued to act as though he didn't hear the wrong note and he didn't apologize for the great inconvenience. There were three of us here and he continued to disagree about not hearing any issues. I barely got the note rectified as he continued to gaslight me. On top of that he came across as rude, impatient, barely making eye contact and honestly unapologetic. He also kept trying to explain the tuning process to me and kept asking how I wanted the piano tuned as if there were options. I kept saying that the notes still sounded off, and his only solution was to continue asking me how I wanted it tuned. He also was grilling me on my knowledge of theory, as if that was needed to have my piano tuned by a so called professional. I've had this piano tuned dozens of times, and the tuner arrives, does his work, and afterwards I have beautiful sounding music. Now, thanks to Calvin, I am going to have to hire another tuner to do the work that was not completed. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS SCAMMER!!!

Nothing was broken, damaged, or missing. The move into my new space was just as smooth as the move out of my old one. They carefully followed all of the building's rules for elevator use, placed furniture exactly where I requested, and neatly stacked boxes in the appropriate rooms. What impressed me most was their professionalism and attention to detail.
