We wanted to go on the railway up Mount Washington so we needed a babysitter for the day for Cannoli. This place was clean and big and bright and very reasonably priced. When we brought Cannoli I asked if they had a groomer there because his hair was getting in his eyes. We went to pick him up and discovered that he had not been the best boy. I guess he got tired of being in the room with the little dogs and wanted to go out. He is a real people lover. So they had him in a different section with a bowl of water and he was fine. His hair had been trimmed around his eyes and looked perfect. It was a great experience and I'm happy to know that they are there if we need them.

We brought our seventeen year old papillon for two days last weekend to Karla's Pet Rendezvous. Our first impression was great. They were very friendly and they said they were waiting for us. Someone took our dog right away and said she would be with her. The woman at the desk received our dog's bag and started taking notes of everything we needed with respect to feeding our dog. We gave her a new bag of very special food and explained how to serve it. We told her also that we left a can of food, only in case of need. She was saying yes to everything. I wonder if she actually wrote it down. Two days later we returned for our dog. We were very concerned to find out if she ate well. She usually doesn't eat well when we are not around and that's why we brought in the special food. To our surprise, they said she ate well. We also asked if she was taken out to the bathroom recently. She said about an hour ago. Our dog was crying from the moment she saw us, which was also unusual but we thought she really missed us. We left, thinking everything was fine. We took her outside and she peed immediately for a long time. She doesn't do this unless she hasn't been out for hours. I was already disappointed but I didn't say anything and left. Our dog kept crying in the car, which it's also strange. I gave her a treat and she devoured it. And wanted more. I told my husband, our dog seems very hungry which it's very unusual since it was about 3 in the afternoon and she doesn't eat dinner until after 6. We stopped to feed her. The first thing we found was the bag of the special foods that was not even open. We served it immediately and our dog was really starving. They didn't even opened it! We found the can food that was open and they used only a little bit. We were so upset. Our dog ate and stopped crying. The next day I called the pet boarding place and they dismissed me. They said it was an accident. I felt really bad to have left my dog in such bad care. I do not recommend this place at all.

My dog has significant reactivity which makes it hard to find sitters sometimes. Hannah is able to give him his own room in her house with a separate door to enter/exit so he feels safe and comfortable. She talked to me at length about my dogs needs and wants to make sure she can give him the best care. Highly recommend!

We didn't have any connections to WMDB, but we took a chance with them and we are happy we did. The facility was spotless, Tony was incredibly knowledgable and supportive, and we felt like Pepper was 100% safe while she was there. We will totally use WMDB again, and we'll recommend them to friends.

I have a little tiny Yorkie, Tillie, only 11 months old and brushing her long hair daily is not…read morefun. I've never had a long haired dog before. Tillie's mom was a dachshund and her dad a Yorkie, so she looks like a Yorkie, only 5 lbs, but veryyyyy long! LOL. I thought I'd bring in my Yorkie and get back a dachshund, after they clipped off her hair. But they said because it is winter she needs the warmth. So when I picked her up she did not look much different, hair was a little shorter, but not by much But .....they know what they are doing!!! She still has hair to keep her warm, but somehow they clipped all that thin, soft hair that is her undercoat that keeps knotting, and kept her beautiful!!!! He has aggression issues and she knows exactly how to deal with his triggers and be near people with him. She brings water, treats, bags and even balls to throw for him in the park! She will bring pumpkin for him when he has an upset stomach, a new ring for his collar if the tag falls off, specials treats, etc - she really goes above and beyond! You'd be lucky to have her take care of your pet, as she truly cares about the animals and their owners. Highly recommend!

She has helped us with both overnight sittings, walks during the day and has stopped by to feed Oakley when we aren't able. Before our first walk she came over to meet Oakley, learn his routine and make sure he was comfortable with her. She is GREAT with dogs. He immediately took to her. She is extremely responsive and will try to accommodate any of your dog's special needs. Our Oakley is reactive and has trouble around other dogs. She takes him on solo walks and even tries to find spots that don't have as many people so he can be calm and enjoy himself. He loves when Lori takes him in the woods to hike some quiet trails.
