They ghosted me.. now I don't know if it's because I corrected her when she used the Spanish form of my name... which is fine by the way but my friends usually call me by my name in Spanish ..so I don't know. So I don't know if they are a great business... they never got back to me. Edit : Today after this review was written (July 31, 2023) The brother arrived at my house to intimidate me, because he didnt like the review he recieved. He then proceeded to take a pictures of my teenage daughter's car, because he didn't like the review he received. I filed a police report and the cops will be called if he or anyone else from this business returns If a customer doesn't like how your business is handled you don't get to go to their house to confront them ... YOU ARE A BUSINESS. You can't please everybody and that should be the expectation of all businesses.

I met Brendan years ago when he was walking my roommates dog every day. That dog was a bit of a…read morehandful, he didn't come when called, couldn't be trusted around other dogs, and had an interesting temperament. After daily trips out with Brendan, the pooch began to develop better manners and eventually started following some basic commands from people. If you knew this guy, you'd know that was massive development! A few years later, I adopted an amazingly energetic boy named Dexter. Dex was already well behaved but has boundless energy that really needed an outlet while we are away at work. Since my roommate had such great luck with Brendan, I decided to give him a call. Its been two years since we started working with Brendan and I couldn't be happier! Brendan has a key to our house and takes Dex out several times a week to go on doggie excursions and knock out some of that energy. Every day when we get home, we can tell Dex has enjoyed a solid workout. What's better is that Brendan is happy to board Dex at his home anytime we have to leave town. We often joke that Dex would prefer to live with Brendan, as he is always thrilled to see him. Sometimes he boards him for a night, other times it can be weeks. No matter how long we're gone, we know he's in good hands and he is always happy to accommodate our schedules to ensure Dex is taken care of. He was 13 at the time, and somewhat active, but definitely high needs. I grew up with him and always loved him, but taking care of an aging dog is a very big challenge. As you can imagine it was an emotional time for me, and Tricia helped me get my house better set up for Brunie, assured me I was doing a good job with him, and left me daily detailed notes on how he was adjusting to city life. She would txt me if there was a really bad day, so I would know what I was coming home to. She was able to stop by a few times on days I had to work a little later. and worked with me to get a schedule that worked best for Bruno. Each day is a little different with an old man and she was a great judge on if he just needed a little play in the yard, just a short walk, or maybe just some treats and petting. My roommate also has a very anxious cat, that used to throw up every day due to separation anxiety. Tricia would talk to Oliver thru the window daily, and the cat has never been better. There is so much more that Tricia helped me with, but the key take away is that she loves the animals she works with, and even the ones she just walks by. I lost my Brunie, but his last months as an official city dog were made better every day by having Tricia in his life.

She worked with us on a variety of issues - how to train separation anxiety, mouthing attacks, overly rough play, fixation and blowing off recall, pulling on the leash - so many things. She is very empathetic and attuned to our dog Charlie's needs, and is able to customize solutions that work best for him. Best of all, none of these solutions involved an e-collar, which another trainer had recommended but we were hesitant to explore. It's been really rewarding watching Charlie respond to our (positive) training and grow more engaged with/attached to us. He now plays a lot better with other dogs, has stopped mouthing us, has much better impulse control, and can even go off leash on a few occasions! He seems like a much happier and calmer boy; we've learned each other's needs and wants and how to best handle them. On top of everything, Emily is very professional. She is responsive (and responds quickly), organized, and ALWAYS on time. We trust her 100% to not just be able to take care of and handle our dog, but to also treat him well and with love. As a totally non-dog related example to show how caring and empathetic she is - while we were travelling our cat was accidentally locked out of his food, and she was kind enough to stop by and let him out. Then the NEXT DAY, he got wrapped up in some cords, and Emily went out of her way to come save the kitty. Kitty was OK, and we owe her so much! Now dog related - we adopted our dog Honey from the SPCA and immediately found she was extremely shy and sensitive. She was *terrified* of our first walker. Not so with Emily! She slowly came out of her shell, and became a happier and healthier pup. We'd say, "Is your Emily coming?" and Honey would immediately perk up and head for the stairs. Emily worked so much with Honey, that her recall and leash walking all improved immensely, something that was a super pleasant surprise. Because of Honey's improvement, we started doing regular(ish) Zoom training sessions. I have to say, Emily is a natural teacher, and I learned so much each session. I highly recommend the Zoom sessions - safe and socially distant! She also boarded Honey multiple times, and I honestly think Honey liked staying with her more than us:P
