The schedule was delayed a day due to rain, however they arrived the following day right on time, and the entire process was completed in one day. I scheduled for this on a Monday and service was completed Saturday. Quick turn around! And they left my home and lawn area super clean. My only nitpick is their trailer stayed on my property for 3 days after the work was completed, this was just an inconvenience. I'm sure Klaus Roofing will respond to this review by placing the blame elsewhere--that has been my experience throughout this entire process. I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Klaus Roofing was extremely disappointing. They failed to complete the roof repair as outlined in my contract, and the improper repair resulted in a roof leak just a few months later. Rather than taking responsibility, they blamed my attic insulation, even though the issue was clearly related to their workmanship. They also damaged my shingles and siding while attempting a temporary fix without my permission. Communication was beyond poor, and scheduling repairs to address the roof and siding damage was frustrating. I never received a sincere apology or any real accountability. In the end, I reached the point where I refused to have this company back on my property. That was my decision, and it will cost me more in the long run, but I no longer had confidence in their work or customer service. I would give zero stars if I could. read more

WE SUED KLAUS / NINA & WON! BEWARE of these incompetent AMATEURS! We gave Klaus Roofing Systems of Upstate NY / Nina many opportunities to make it right. She attempted to deflect her company's negligence onto us, the homeowners, and she lost in court. This shady company unlikely has insurance coverage & is unlikely to honor any "warranty" as we've learned in court. In June 2024 we hired Klaus Roofing Systems to replace the railings, lining, & skylight hatch that provides access to our flat rooftop. A few days into the work, they removed the roof hatch which is over 4'x2', & didn't put the new one in. Instead they covered the hole with a tarp & went home for the night. Shortly after they left, a windy thunderstorm started & torrential rain came down all night. The tarp wasn't properly secured & the weight of the water collected made the tarp detach & all the water came down through our attic, soaking down through the floors, & damaged the ceiling of the bedroom directly underneath the attic. We got estimates to replace the ceiling damaged by water, ranging between $4,200-$6,300. We gave Nina more than 7 opportunities to compensate us for the damage. Nina claimed there was already water damage to the bedroom ceiling before they began work on our roof and refused to pay. And, after we requested compensation for the damages, Nina submitted an additional invoice for $3,200, which we refuted in court. Hence, we filed a lawsuit in Albany in SEP 2024. Two trial dates in FEB 2025 & NOV 2025. We received the final judgment in our favor in JAN 2026 for $4,200 for her company's negligence, 17 months later. We have requested payment from Nina/Klaus and she has NOT paid us as of the date of this review. Her mistakes have cost us 7 times more than the judgement awarded, due to a complete re-do needed of their unfinished work! Our roof is still leaking to this day! These people are super shady for drawing out our lawsuit for nearly 17 months! DO NOT HIRE! read more

We paid Klaus roofing $70,000, and we have the receipts. $30k for the roof, and then $40k to take off the siding, put a couple posts in the basement, and paint some trim. We put in a stop work order when I saw how terrible their carpentry skills were, (see photos) and they clearly didn't know what they were doing with the foundation. Our next contractor cost a lot MORE than Klaus, but you get what you pay for. the new contractor had to take down the terrible work and redo it, a huge waste of materials. Our house is finished, and I wrote a great review for Thomas Construction. Our mason took out the huge industrial waste Jarrod dumped in our yard (see photos). We overpaid Klaus for services rendered by about $8,000, and a lawyer said I *could* take them to small claims court, but there were so many other cases against them that it was highly unlikely there'd be any money left. DO NOT use this company. Whatever the owner says, look at these photos. There's absolutely no excuse for this horrendous unskilled work. read more

He gave us a fair estimate and explained the products, process and warranty to us where we had no questions. He was professional, had great knowledge of the periodically.If they would be using for a full roof replacement. When he left, my husband and I had no questions because he was very thorough. He did well and we ended up having our full roof replaced by Klaus Roofing Systems.​ Tony the foreman for roof replacement team had his crew here on time completed job when they said they would.
