Quick service food was cooked to order and made for a nice lunch. No wait which was great and the restaurant looked and smelled fairly clean and that's always a Plus. Quick note if you pay cash it's better.

Best burrito in East Highland and it's not even close. I moved out here and have been looking for a bomb burrito and came across this spot right on the corner of Greenspot and boulder and decided to give it a try with my girlfriend. I'm glad I did! The chilaquiles plate is 11$ and tastes homemade. Comes with a drink, beans and rice. I also got a California burrito and it tastes phenomenal. Their orange salsa was so good and creamy. The chile verde had a very nice flavor as well. The nice lady at the counter was very nice and Will definitely be coming back

Where is the meat? Ordered breakfast burrito - sausage, eggs, potato & cheese. $12.12. The burrito consisted of mostly potatoes, little amount of eggs, cheese & 1 sliver of link sausage. My first & last time visiting this place.

Excellent Mexican food at this location. A carne asada and a bean and cheese burrito was our order. Overall our meals were very good and well portioned. Customer service was excellent, good affordable prices and they have a huge menu.

What's the name of this place? Albaro's or Alvaros Mexican Food? Two different names on one business.

Drown your burrito in sauce and it may taste alright. Then again, even the sauce is bland. Not even kidding. Food here is mediocre. I feel they would do much better business in a food truck than they would operating a brick and mortar kitchen somewhere. This place hasn't been here for 20 years to look so run down. Bathroom looks unkept and I question myself each time after my first bite, "why did I come here?" There's only three spaces to park your car. Otherwise, you'll have to park your car at the risk of getting towed because each business has designated parking spots. This place has just three. it has always been my luck that I have found one space of three that are designated for this food place. Side note: What's the name of this business? Is it Albaro's or Alvaros Mexican Food? Picture attached. I'll let you decide.

    menudo

My girl like the food however, carefully choose.. as the menudo is menu-doo doo. There was no meat, each spoon came up empty until I decided to see for myself.

Asked for an updated menu and received a menu with the prices crossed out

Today my husband and I came back to Fuego Cravings ( we went on Friday too for the first time)…read more because we just couldn't get through the weekend without a buirria taco and a campechano taco, one to eat there and one to go for lunch tomorrow . We've eaten a lot of Burria around California and Fuegos is ON POINT! Tender, juicy, with flavor richer than any we've tried! The consome they give you for dipping on the side is more than plenty, so rich and delicious. Best way to enjoy is to get the 2 taco birria with rice (yum) and beans with a drink all for one price. Today we met Maria who took our order and spoke with us about the food. I also am taken back by the the friendly and attentive service we have received both times. I could see how proud Maria was when she was talking about making the various dishes. All made with love and it comes through in the taste of the food. I know I sound like a broken record but I just can't believe we have this restaurant in our local area and haven't crossed its path until now. I'm glad we did though better late than never. I highly recommend Fuego Cravings Highland to even the most critical Mexican foodie.

Hubby was going to order some food to-go until he saw a mandatory service fee is added to everyone's check. "For What"? They said its to help the restaurant lol Of course it is because you're charging more for nothing. So we decided to go grab some grub from somewhere else instead. Like I get prices are high everywhere but we refuse to pay service fees for nothing. I could see if we were going to dine in and we we're a party of 5-6 or more...but charging these types of fees for nothing. Is no bueno!

Super flavorful and well seasoned. There is a small parking lot inside/behind the business. Anyways. I wish they had ONE salsa that wasn't spicy. Maybe the green tomatillo one was mild but other than that theyre all spicy. My husband's burrito was fire. He used the red spicy salsa. My tacos were fire. I would come back now that I know the spot. I would take them to go even though they have sitting inside. Good customer service. The staff were nice.

After a long week and zero desire to cook on a Friday night, I finally decided to give it a try. When I pulled up, the line was surprisingly short, which felt like a good sign. The order window is right out front, and the menu is simple and familiar: tacos, burritos, sopes, tortas, quesabirria. I ordered a little bit of almost everything: asada street tacos, a bean and cheese burrito, beans and rice, an asada mulita, an al pastor sope, and a quesabirria. Prices were reasonable, and I spent under $50 for the whole spread. Food came out in about 15 minutes and was packed neatly. The disappointment started once I got home. There was no salsa in the bags, which already put us at a disadvantage. Only then did I realize there's apparently a salsa bar inside along with a small seating area, something you don't see from the front order window. Had I known that, I would've grabbed what we needed before leaving. Then we opened the tacos and realized they came completely plain... no onion, no cilantro, nothing. Just tortillas and meat. Not exactly what I expected. Visually, everything else looked fine, so I was hoping the flavor would make up for it... but it didn't. Everything tasted bland, like the seasoning took the night off. The only thing I halfway enjoyed was the beans and rice, and my family felt the same way. Maybe my expectations were too high based on the crowds I always see, but everything tasted like tortillas, meat, and cheese... and not much else. I'll give them credit for fair pricing and quick service, but that's about it. I really wish the cashier had mentioned that the tacos come plain or pointed me toward the salsa setup. Overall, not the experience I expected, and not one I'd rush back for.
