If you're looking for a dining experience that feels just like being at your abuelita's house, you have to check out Taco Joe's! This hidden gem caught our attention when the restaurant we usually visit was unexpectedly closed. As we were about to leave, we spotted Taco Joe's and decided to give it a try, drawn in by their festive sign. Finding parking was a breeze in their spacious lot, even though there's only one entrance and exit. Once inside, we were warmly welcomed and promptly seated through a beautifully decorated brown door. The hospitality here is genuine--the waitstaff is always friendly and quick to assist. We started our meal with their house-made salsa and crunchy chips while our waitress took our drink order. If you're looking for a fantastic deal, their lunch specials come with a drink and are definitely worth it! I can't recommend the chile relleno special enough; it's served with creamy beans topped with cheese and flavorful rice that will absolutely delight your taste buds. We also enjoyed the hearty albondigas soup, which paired perfectly with rice and warm tortillas. Ever since that visit, we've been coming back every week! Taco Joe's stands out with generous portions and budget-friendly prices--definitely a breath of fresh air compared to many restaurants that skimp on servings. And let me tell you, when they bring your order to the table, it's piping hot and packed with flavor! Don't miss out on their delicious Mango Mimosas and a variety of other delightful drinks. Kudos to the owner, the talented chefs, and the fantastic waitstaff for making every visit a special occasion. Thank you for always making us feel right at home! We can't wait to come back next week! Lunch specials start at 11 AM. Drink and other specials are available at certain times. They open either at 8 AM or 9 AM and are closed on Wednesdays.

    Nachos (no meat)

I have eaten here on several occasions, actually all have been takeout, but I have never posted a review. This particular occasion I was craving nachos, so I saw that they had nachos with everything I like on it (beans, cheese, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo). I didn't want any meat this time, but they do have another nachos on the menu that does include your choice of meat. The nachos were . Although I ordered this through 3rd party delivery services, it was still crunchy! The chips had not turned into mush like most places. I did request the wet toppings on the side, so that may have helped. Overall I give this a 4/5, not a full 5 because I had a lot of leftover chips without any toppings.

Great customer services . Clean restaurant. We order fish tacos 8.7 the rise had an after burn taste . Overall great tacos . Also we order carne asada 8.5. They burn the carne "see pictures" overall good experience.

    Salsa

I ordered the small menudo to go and a shredded beef hard shell taco. Both were quite yummy. My only complaint was the salsa ( not authentic at all) more like ketchup.

This is what they advertise on instagram

I order based on an instagram post I saw. It looked really appetizing, but it just looked appetizing. The chilaquiles divorciaos should had come with what it looks beef fajita and avocado. Not the case the came plain and no meat or avocado. When I asked for the meat they brought me a tiny bowl of what it looks like chopped asada( did not taste good). Also the menudo had 3-4 pieces of menudo the rest was just pozole hominy. For sure not worth your time or money. For the price go somewhere else

They have the best chips and salsa I've ever had and the food is so tasty. I've had their hard shell tacos and got the supreme burrito this time, I recommend trying both! Also the staff are very attentive!

    Chilaquiles divorciados and chef's omelette

Excellent service, place and food!! Prices are acceptable with the portions they served you... ask for Belinda, best service experience you will get Definitely coming back

Food is good but a bit pricey. The service was decent and over all the place feels good. Likely will be back when craving a chimichanga.

Today my husband and I came back to Fuego Cravings ( we went on Friday too for the first time)…read more because we just couldn't get through the weekend without a buirria taco and a campechano taco, one to eat there and one to go for lunch tomorrow . We've eaten a lot of Burria around California and Fuegos is ON POINT! Tender, juicy, with flavor richer than any we've tried! The consome they give you for dipping on the side is more than plenty, so rich and delicious. Best way to enjoy is to get the 2 taco birria with rice (yum) and beans with a drink all for one price. Today we met Maria who took our order and spoke with us about the food. I also am taken back by the the friendly and attentive service we have received both times. I could see how proud Maria was when she was talking about making the various dishes. All made with love and it comes through in the taste of the food. I know I sound like a broken record but I just can't believe we have this restaurant in our local area and haven't crossed its path until now. I'm glad we did though better late than never. I highly recommend Fuego Cravings Highland to even the most critical Mexican foodie.

We also got a regular quesadilla de birria (different from quesa birria) and it was too good. We got a single fish taco to share and know if it would be good to order next time. Let me just say that was probably our most favorite thing we tried! I also rate placed based off of their salsa. My mouth is actually watering thinking about their red salsa and the smoky kick it has to it. Loved it here. I'll be back for more tacos soon.

After a long week and zero desire to cook on a Friday night, I finally decided to give it a try. When I pulled up, the line was surprisingly short, which felt like a good sign. The order window is right out front, and the menu is simple and familiar: tacos, burritos, sopes, tortas, quesabirria. I ordered a little bit of almost everything: asada street tacos, a bean and cheese burrito, beans and rice, an asada mulita, an al pastor sope, and a quesabirria. Prices were reasonable, and I spent under $50 for the whole spread. Food came out in about 15 minutes and was packed neatly. The disappointment started once I got home. There was no salsa in the bags, which already put us at a disadvantage. Only then did I realize there's apparently a salsa bar inside along with a small seating area, something you don't see from the front order window. Had I known that, I would've grabbed what we needed before leaving. Then we opened the tacos and realized they came completely plain... no onion, no cilantro, nothing. Just tortillas and meat. Not exactly what I expected. Visually, everything else looked fine, so I was hoping the flavor would make up for it... but it didn't. Everything tasted bland, like the seasoning took the night off. The only thing I halfway enjoyed was the beans and rice, and my family felt the same way. Maybe my expectations were too high based on the crowds I always see, but everything tasted like tortillas, meat, and cheese... and not much else. I'll give them credit for fair pricing and quick service, but that's about it. I really wish the cashier had mentioned that the tacos come plain or pointed me toward the salsa setup. Overall, not the experience I expected, and not one I'd rush back for.

Good little taco spot that's affordable. I love all the salsa they have here too. I definitely…read moredon't mind becoming a regular here!
