I finally decided to try this place out since it's the closest to me and I'm not sure why I waited so long because it's so good! Service was great and place is clean. Tacos were amazing with handmade tortillas. You can really taste the difference. All sauces were also outstanding. I'm really big on spice, and their spiciest sauce did not disappoint. Burritos were also delicious. Everything tastes authentic and has so much cultural flavor. The only thing that I wasn't too excited about was the price. My wife and I each got a burrito ,also 3 tacos to split, and 2 mexican cokes; The total came out to $52, which is a little steep for that amount of food. Let's start off with the excellent customer service they provide. The entire time from the moment you walk in, until you leave, their focus is you. The restaurant is clean and clutter-free unlike many other places, good music, nice area. This review is long overdue, but I hope the owners have made changes. My wife and I went soon after they opened. The atmosphere was lively, however, the staff were less than helpful and only spoke in Spanish. When you ask a question on something they looked at you puzzled, then ignored us and talked to other workers and then were looked at and laughed at. We let that go, but when we asked about a couple of menu items, they said that they were out. We only knew this because somebody told us they were saying in line behind us. Needless to say it was not a positive experience and we haven't been back since. Heard of similar experiences and it's sad to see a place coming to your neighborhood where we are more than interested in having a new option for Mexican food, but to be laughed at and have poor service is not a way to make business in my opinion. There's more likely only two options here. Hopefully they'll learn from the reviews and make some changes, or they're going to go out of business. read more

I've seen in their pictures that they "used to" offer carne asada? Not sure if they just ran out of it today or not by 1pm. I ordered 1 carnitas, 1 al pastor, and 2 costilla. For $13 ($14.50 after tax and extra charge for using a credit card - CA Civil code 1748.1), I expected more than a few pieces of stringy chewey roast. It was enough to make 3 small tacos, but the meat was hard to eat without a knife. The canister was mostly caldo which was not very flavorful. On my first trip I asked about the food on their line, and the man who helped gave a quick run down much of their food. Fortunately I speak Spanish and I spoke to the employee (a nephew) as it was a little slow when I went, they're under new ownership and it's only been a few months under the new owners. So the reviews of bad service or food from several months ago are outdated. This is a family owned restaurant that I feel takes pride in their work and you can see it in how clean it is. This place was so good, I see a lot reviews talking about the hours, but I think its just because they aren't very busy. I got a BRC burrito wet style, and it was genuinely one of the best burritos I've ever had in my life. The tortilla was so fresh and fluffy, it was a perfect bean to cheese and rice ratio, and the salsa was amazing. It was cute inside, and the customer service was great. The cook came out and asked us our preferences on certain things, and the cashier helped us pick out what we wanted. I only paid $8 for a delicious big burrito and a coke.
