Anytime I call to place an order they don't answer. I also came one time and ordered the consume, and the lady at the register said it doesn't come with meat. It's just soup. I went to Birrieria La Vacona and tried the birria burrito and quesa birria tacos. I know a birria burrito isn't the usual, but I was curious. Honestly, don't bother with it--it's just okay. The tacos are way better!!! My cousin got the quesadilla, and it looked amazing too!! If you come here, go for the quesa tacos or the quesadilla, which is huge, by the way!! We came with a big group, and there weren't many employees, but it was Thursday at 8 PM, so I get it. The staff that was there tried their best, but there was a lot of confusion. 4 stars! read more

I don't usually write reviews on restaurants because I like to let a place speak for itself by the quality of food, service and word-of-mouth. I want to start out by saying that the 2 stars are for the customer service that I received from the lady who took my order. She was very polite and acknowledged me from the time I entered the restaurant. Unfortunately I ate some bad food from this place. I ordered the tacos dorado de papa and I got food poisoning and became dehydrated to the point that I could not get out of bed the next day because I was very weak. It has taken about a week for me to recover from the physical pain, and my stomach is still shy of certain foods and drinks. I was really hungry and did not pay attention to the signs that I should go some place else. THE PLACE WAS EMPTY! I know you are saying that maybe I had bad timing. It was lunch time and the only people there was the cashier, and other staff. I did see some construction workers on their way to their car, but they did not look as if they had ate. I'm not saying you should not go there. I'm saying be careful of what you eat from there. Maybe they had some bad lettuce, crema, cheese, jalapeños, potatoes, or the grease they used to fry my tacos. No matter what inspect your food. If it does not look right, smell right, or if the taste isn't right....walk out so that you will be alright. read more

Glad to have more authentic Mexican food restaurants in this area. The service was speedy and over the top great. Very attentive to our needs. There is ample space in the restaurant, they had a tv in playing some UFC fights. Quite entertaining. Parking is plentiful. We had the Plato de Birria, the nest was good. Okay I was very skeptical knowing where the location was at and the fact that it's been a new restaurant every 2 years in the spot. With that being said WOW!!! The Birria Is straight fire!!! Hand downs the juice and meat were on point. A lot of meat in the tacos and they don't skimp out on it! My first time trying a birria in the United States. Large portion, with beans and rice and 5 tortillas. Beans were great and rice was very good! I could have had it a lily but could use a few more spices. I also ordered the consume plate, it was very good, also came with chips. We finally decided to give this place a shot. The place looked clean but was very hot inside, felt like there was no ac running. Ordered the torta de Al pastor, order of tacos de papa(comes with 3 tacos), order of 4 of the quesa-birria tacos (comes with small consomé), and a large horchata. Unfortunately we received a wrong item, the torta wasn't Al pastor it was asada. Aside for the meat being wrong over all the torta was a 8/10 felt like it lack something maybe like lettuce and less beans in my opinion. The tacos de papa were pretty good the queso gave it a good saltiness, very good amount of toppings to tacos ratio but maybe adding avocado would have boost the experience. Over all the tacos were a solid 9/10 a tad bit of more seasoning on the potatoes would have made it tastier. The quesa-birria tacos were very good in size and delicious. The consomé the order of 4 tacos came with was a good size just the right amount of consomé to tacos ratio. Over all the tacos get a 8.5/10 even though they were delicious the tacos weren't crispy or crunchy like they normally should be and they did lack a bit on the cilantro and onion topping. The red salsa they gave us on the side was spicy and tasted good w the birria tacos. We also got a small bag of tortilla chips you can tell they are homemade. We only forgot to take a picture of the tacos de papa. read more

Food taste so AMAZING both times I visited. I had the Cali fries 1st the portion was big. 2nd time he had the Birria tacos we also tried grilled shell hard steak and chicken tacos. I've been waiting to try Birria tacos and when I saw this new restaurant I placed an order immediately. Service was quick and friendly. The restaurant was clean and very nice. I ordered the 4 count of the Birria tacos and were they delicious. If I had known they were so large I would have ordered three. They came with red and green sauce and of course a cup of beef soup.
