I just got an amazing birria quesadilla from here! It was not on the menu, but birria was, and it was one of the best quesadillas I've ever had. Best breakfast burrito I've had in ages! Driving through town early in the morning my family and I pulled off to get gas and grab some breakfast. I'm so glad my husband wanted a breakfast burrito because that led us to Albaro's! The service was so friendly, the restaurant was very clean. Everything in the burrito was super fresh. Best burrito in East Highland and it's not even close. I moved out here and have been looking for a bomb burrito and came across this spot right on the corner of Greenspot and boulder and decided to give it a try with my girlfriend. I'm glad I did! The chilaquiles plate is 11$ and tastes homemade. Comes with a drink, beans and rice. I also got a California burrito and it tastes phenomenal. Their orange salsa was so good and creamy. I feel they would do much better business in a food truck than they would operating a brick and mortar kitchen somewhere. This place hasn't been here for 20 years to look so run down. Bathroom looks unkept and I question myself each time after my first bite, "why did I come here?" There's only three spaces to park your car. Otherwise, you'll have to park your car at the risk of getting towed because each business has designated parking spots. What in the world happened? Went a couple of days ago for crispy hard shell tacos. The chicken tacos were umm chicken in enchilada type sauce and the shells were the kind you get at Taco Bell. The beef taco had no flavor and was semi-crispy. I tried to order chile verde a la cart, but they don't do that. This place used to be good and I'm really disappointed. This is a small place and have a couple of tables to eat there. The service was quick but now I know why. I will add that young man that took my order ( to go) was polite. Food is disgusting! No taste, dry ass bacon, chilaquiles are stale and made with old oil. Asked for bacon and eggs and bacon was harder than jerky! Meat was old. Asked for an order of Chile Verde and it was made with chicken. The Chile Verde on the menu was pork ribs. Restaurant stank of too much cleaning products. Counters were filthy. Awful food quality. Ordered the super nachos and Mexican Coke and paid a ridiculous $23 for my meal. I received my food no more than 2 minutes after ordering (which is suspiciously fast when it comes to ordering at a Mexican restaurant). I opened my nachos to find that I got super fries instead. I sent the item back and waited for the correct order to be given to me. When I got my correct meal (again surprisingly quickly) I noted the food was cold. Was it the tomatoes? No it can't make the food that cold. Was it the avocado? The cheese? The sour cream? No. It was the meat. The meat was cold, it was refrigerator cold, as of the food was yesterday's leftover meat that was left out to thaw for 30 minutes before being given to me to eat. Although it lacks the polish of similar over-the-counter restaurants operated by large companies, the food has always been good, served quickly and at a reasonable price. One of the interesting things about this place is the menu. Decoding it requires a long session of blankly staring at a selection of items that are basically offered in a variety of ways at different prices. If you know what you want, then ordering is easy - if you don't know exactly what you want then you may be in for a surprise. On Super Bowl Sunday, we ordered our typical selection of taquitos with rice and beans - the on-line menu says this is $6.99 - with a drink, around eight bucks. This time, when we went to collect our order, all the menu prices were covered with tape and what used to cost around eight dollars was now fifteen....? Really? Double? Two orders of basically fast food was well over $30 after the fee they charge for using a credit card. OK, I get it. everything is going up.... but double? The food is good (not great), but it ain't that good. Other options in the area can deliver similar cuisine for about half (including a walk-in that serves you at the table). I probably would have passed on Albaro's for something else if I realized that the menu had doubled. I can't say if the price increase is something that was only for Super Bowl Sunday, or if it has been adjusted permanently (or if I just never spotted it) - but it's not something that I will support. read more

My order was made incorrectly. So I drove back and asked for a refund, to which the man that I spoke with did not want to give me all my money back but eventually did. My burrito was barely wrapped together as if it was rushed. I had to re-roll it myself...I do not recommend this place. Green sauce was good tho. read more

Pretty good Mexican food fast and super friendly. We stopped by here a few times the food is fresh and good. We had some burritos and rolled tacos from here all were tasty. But it was better the first time we came when an older gentlemen was cooking. We came back a different time when some younger ladies were working but the food wasn't as good. We got a party platter of rolled tacos but they weren't as good as the rolled tacos we ate when the older gentlemen was cooking. They were a little overdone and kinda small for the price we paid. We might return but only if we see the older gentlemen cooking then will know it's going to be Awesome. read more

It's right behind the Valero gas station. It's not a busy shopping center so there's always parking available in the front of the store. Experience: I discovered this place on accident one day just by searching Mexican food near me, but I am so glad I discovered this place. Their food is so authentic and made to order. I normally get a carne asada burrito. The portion sizes are pretty normal so one burrito usually fills me up, but I eat like a rabbit so that should give you some incite. Overall, great food! The prices are on the high side for Mexican food. My wife and I both had the same thing: carne asada fries and beans on the side. We both got the runs from it. I came as my girlfriend bought me lunch and told me how good it is. I was very surprised by how right she was. To me, the price seemed a little high and the wait a little long, but totally worth it. Food was hot, very tasty and I did not go out hungry. Food portions were very generous, but the limited seating made getting a seat tougher than normal.
