That in itself should tell you something ...no one wants to eat here. 3rd.....the food (carne asada taco plate (2) with rice/beans) is bland, mediocre and not really authentic Mexican food. It's sloppy, basic, flavorless home style cooking. Plus there's no refills on draft/fountain soda...you have to pay $3 per fill (12oz cup). Not to mention my order came out in less than 3min....which means everything is precooked and ready to serve at any given time. Hard pass in my opinion. On my continued quest of finding good breakfast burritos, Alberts Mexican Food is next on my list. I came here on a Saturday evening hoping to order a delicious breakfast burrito. They advertise on their window outside that breakfast burritos are served all day. I decided to give this place a try since I've seen a bunch of Albert Mexican places around. Parking for this place is weird, they don't have their own lot even though it seems like they would. It's shared with the Papa Johns and the Yum Yum donuts. Not a lot of parking spots and there is no drive thru. Upon entering this place, you will see seats on your left and the big menu board on the right. The menu is very cluttered and not easy to follow. The color choice and font make it hard to follow. On the left side they have burritos and then on the right side it's burritos again. But I knew what I wanted. I asked the lady for a breakfast burrito with bacon and sausage. She said having both meats would be extra (2.75 extra). I said no problem, this was my first time here and I wanted bacon AND sausage. While waiting to get my burrito, I walked around this small place. There is a salsa bar on north side of the restaurant and the trash can is on the south side. It took quite a while to get my burrito because there is literally only one person cooking. It took a good 30 minutes for my burrito. I was close of just telling them to cancel it and walk out since it was taking a long time. When I finally got my burrito, it felt decently heavy. When I cut it in half to inspect it, there was literally almost no bacon, maybe like 2 slices of bacon which can be seen in my picture, and like a few pieces of sausage bits. I was highly disappointed in what I got. So the burrito is made up of white cheese (mozzarella I'm assuming), egg, bacon, sausage bits, and potato sticks (not exactly French fries). It just tasted like "salt". There was nothing special about the burrito, and the salsa bar was just "spicy". Even the green sauce is considered medium to me. The burrito wrapper was excessively large as well, there were extra folds where you could of made the burrito bigger but they do not. Overall, I am really disappointed in this place and the overall quality. 2/5 stars, I can not recommend this place to anyone. read more

MY FAVORITE FRIES IN THE WOLD ENTIRE WORLD. I always get the Asada fries without beans, and sometimes I add more meat because they make it so good my mouth feels like it's in heaven. I swear everyone I took here loves the fries, and one order can feed up to two people. The price of the fries is $11 and worth all the money. So the Asada fries come with fries, sour cream, guacamole, and any meat you choose. I just come here all the time, and I love it since I was little until now! All we get from here is the carne asada fries. It tastes really good! (This is my guilty junk food.) It really amuses me because the cooks could care less about the quality of food. I dont normally give out 2 stars but this warranted it. I showed up on wednesday night. Apparently they were cleaning the fryer so they couldn't make anything that required that. No biggie, ill get a burrito. Paid, got my salsas, got home. Big burrito. Yum. Take a bite. Barely warm..um ok, screw it I'm hungry. By the time i get towards the middle the meat is straight up cold. I would have microwaved it but it had guac and that would have made it worse. At least the meat had a decent flavor. Probably would have been great fresh. Oh well.
