I am a local, I come here often. I really love the atmosphere here! Unfortunately, the food is hit & miss. Just had a combo plate that tasted bland and unappetizing. It's too bad because the staff is usually friendly (they fixed their mean drive thru person problem) and the breakfast burritos are very good. But I can't speak fondly of the over $9 meal I just had that was not good! I hope Alberto's can figure it out, I do like them in the neighborhood- but they need to get it together. read more

Compared to other Alberto's franchises, this one is the worst I have been to. I have been super excited to get an Alberto's here in Park City, but I have been very disappointed so far. I have been there 5 times, to try different favorites from the menu. All of them were bland! It's like they forgot to bring in seasonings! Nothing special about this place - run of the mill bland fast-food mexican. Every item on the menu is covered with cheese and lettuce, no cilantro or diced onion to be found. Had the chicken fajitas, plenty of rice and beans to feed two, but lemon pepper chicken with sautéed peppers and tomatoes with no additional seasoning didn't quite fit the bill. I will give them credit for the serving size and being open 24-hours a day, something that will give Burger King some competition. For me, there is a much better mexican restaurant across the street, and they give you free chips and salsa with every order, no up-charge. read more

Alberto's, we are in love with you. So much so, that my wife and I have contemplated doing a week of Al's, and eating as much of the menu as we can. Your breakfast burritos (served ALL DAY), are the best in town (and ski towns are no slouches when it comes to breakfast burritos), and your portions/prices are absurd (the former being huge, the latter being small). Have a normal amount of hunger? Grab a mini (available for any burrito on the menu), and walk out of there for $3-$4. Want to eat until you feel like you have an alien trying to escape through your stomach? Get a normal sized burrito. The smart thing would be to cut it in half, split it, or take some home. But stopping IS SO HARD. Om nom nom. Have more willpower than I do? Be sure to grab a shake. They are under $4, giant, and delicious. Some people have written about feeling sick after, and I think that is complete balderdash. My wife and I have eaten here 30+ times since it opened, and have never felt sick from anything other than overindulgence. read more

If you want food poisoning go here. It wasn't just one occasion. I got food poisoning a couple weeks later my husband got food poisoning and then my friends that went here also got food poisoning from all different meats! At all different occasions. I WISH I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE A ZERO. I came here for the first time yesterday and ordered carne asada fries. I've definitely had better, EXTREMLY DISSAPOINTED! You get more fries(which were over cooked) than anything, nothing taste seasoned and there wasn't enough cheese melted over to cover the fries. This whole execution was a total FAIL! On my way home today I decided to give them one more try since my co-workers were raving about it. I ordered a half size carne asada burrito. LET ME TELL YOU, this was the most puny and pathetic burrito I've ever ordered in my LIFE! They give you a TINY scoup of flavorless meat, a SPRINKLE of pico de gallo and a SPLASH of guacamole! TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY! A buritto from DEL TACO would have been more fulfilling and would have actually had some FLAVOR! I had to add stuff to it once I got home to make sure I got full off of it. And the cashier is FULL OF S***! I asked her if it were a good size and she tells me "Oh yea, one could definitely fill me up" Thanks a lot for helping me waste my money b****! I would have been even more pissed had I bought the "full" burrito. That ones probably not even the size of a normal burrito! As a former San Diegan, who moved to Utah and South Florida-I love Mexican Food. it's just that I can never find the "real deal" outside of So Cal. Ever. I'm pleased to say that real Southern California Mexican is now available in Park City. I DIG this restaurant and the cool brother owners that run it. It's an instant classic! These guys are personally are out cleaning the tables off. That's rare in today's world. They deserve our business! I love their Ranchero (White) Cheese Quesadillas and their tasty Chicken Burritos. (FYI: The Mini burritos are pretty filling for like $3.99). I like that they have a great dining area, clean bathrooms and a cool in-town vibe. Parking is rarely a problem-a definite bonus-more that not I can find rock star parking right in front. The owners tell me that 50% of their business is drive-thru customers. But, I like eating it straight off the grill- you can see the grill action right there from the counter. They don't hide the cooks behind a wall. Alberto's understands that a tortilla is meant to me grilled-just like they do here. And that a burrito is meant to me unwrapped from aluminum foil. And smothered with hot sauce (red and green.) In short-This is THE place for Mexican in town. See and taste for yourself. It's a cheap date. It's one place that makes P.C. a great town. Come on by...dressed up or in your still wet ski pants. I've eaten the quesadillas they're like really stingy on their cheese and their sauces like hello my damm quesadilla is like 7 dollars i deserve more then 1 sauce. Fast food chain that serves all orders, even those inside the restaurant, in to-go boxes along with plastic utensils. It has counter service plus drive-in, but no sit down service. Reasonable prices and decent food quantity. Popular with families. Unfortunately, the chicken fajitas were dry & too tart with lemon juice for my taste. read more

They heat their tortillas on a flat top stove rather than just steaming them, setting them above oh so many mexican restaurants. Don't compare this place to a nice full sit down mexican place. Its fast food and uniquely Alberto's. The menu will not suit all, but it is a good meal. Meats are fresh, no cheap grade C stuff here. I think the overall flavor is muted, but that is nice compared to most places who just hit you with Hot salsa and you don't taste anything but that. I love the drive-thru, one of only a few place in PC that has one, but the interior has a nice view of the resorts. Lastly, good food in PC without the PC prices. This makes it almost worth it alone. I hate having to pay $15 for burger in PC that is just another burger. I'll pay for something unique, but not just because of your location. Give it a try, you won't be blown away but you won't be dissapointed either. read more

I still have a stomach ache, that's why am writing this review. This is the worst Mexican food I've ever had. To make things worse they serve it in a Styrofoam box, even when you're not taking it out. We wanted to eat in and they have no reusable plates. I hate to think of the landfill in Park City now being overloaded with poisonous Styrofoam because of this dump. I got the fish tacos and nowhere does it mention that they are battered and fried. Best breakfast burrito in Utah. My co-workers and I enjoy them multiple times every week. Their regular sized burritos are quite large and more than enough, but you can also get a mini size which is perfect for breakfast or a light lunch. Great hot sauces to go on you meal. I frequent this amazing place often. You can't beat the price, and the food is delicious. Also, their hours are fantastic and they have a drive-thru. The staff is super fast, friendly, and the place is clean. All their burritos can be made as a 'mini' option, which is about 1/2 the price of the normal size, and the minis are still very filling. Everything on their menu is good, but the chicken burrito with verde salsa is the best IMO. The tortillas they use are so good, idk if they make them on-site but they are definitely made from scratch. I would give them 5 stars if their chips were better. Their neighboring competitor, El Chubascos, has better chips and a huge salsa bar, but overall I think Albertos has better food. If yelp would let me, I'd give this place a solid 4.5 stars.
