I've been eating here for about 2 years now. When I first tried their food I ordered a pizza which was seemingly burnt on the bottom. After a few months I gave it another try and fell in love. Their food is exceptional. They make their own sauce there (instead of that cheap pre-made junk). And they definitely give you a great portion size. I've tried a lot of things on their menu and can't complain about any of them. Its great to order out or dine in - I've never had to wait a long time (unless busy). The only thing I have negative to say is some of the staff don't seem friendly. One woman seemed like she hated her job and I can tell when I call to order if it's her because she's very rude sounding on the phone and just hangs up when the order was given. Some others are very nice though, the servers are usually on top of things as far as getting orders right and making sure you have everything. I would encourage people to go here if you enjoy Italian food. It's definitely a place to drop that well earned penny. read more

We stopped in for a late lunch. The sub and pizza were deliciously prepared and cooked to perfection. Our server Ciera was precious, polite and attentive. The atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly. The facility and the restrooms were very clean, and watching the rain outside the window was very pleasant. Thank you Lord for the rain. Both thumbs up!! our server Bobbi was great! She made an extra effort to confirm that the Chianti was from Italy . I ordered the baked ziti dinner which it came with included, buttered garlic bread, and a house salad; ordered the House Italian dressing for the salad. Everything was delicious and served hot. The restaurant is casual... similar to one of my favorite Italian restaurants at home :Sunny Italy -near Notre Dame's campus in South Bend, IN. Lots of menu variety. We will return. Alberto's in Edgewater, A place I always loved turned out to be a nightmare tonight. I and my disabled Dad and his 2 friends waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for the food from Alberto's tonight. Yes, it was busy they kept telling us, but every customer around us was getting their food before us. Does it take 1 hour and 15 minutes to make Ravioli's, meatballs and soup???? What a shame. This was our first time here and we were visiting family in the area. We picked up a couple of pizzas we ordered well done and they were not. They were very busy we also got mozzarella sticks that were hardly toasted at all and an extremely wilted old Greek salad. And while we waited out front a mouse ran by. We ordered wings from Alberto's using their online option which was very easy to use and they were delivered in the time estimated. I ordered mine with barbecue sauce and my partner ordered his with hot garlic sauce. The wings were nice and hot when we got them. My only issue is with the amount of sauce on the wings. They were swimming in barbecue sauce, enough for another order of wings. Next time I order I might ask for either less sauce or order them dry, with the sauce on the side. First I want to say that everything I've ordered from Alberto's is absolutely amazing, so we wanted to try the pizza and the bottom was a little to crispy, so the next day I called to tell them maybe the oven was up to high and Crystal was so sweet and kind and told me next time we order to ask for her. So later we ordered the lasagna and garlic knots my God it's so delicious and enough to feed an army lol but Crystal took care of my bill. I thought that was so kind. Takeout order that was quoted at 45 minutes took an agonizing 90 minutes, likely due to the New Years Eve rush. The calzone and Stromboli doughs were undercooked. Stromboli ingredients included undeclared pineapple (yuck)! Plain cheese pizza was the highlight and only thing I would consider returning for. read more

The food is great they also have a window service so it can make things fast and easier the parking isn't great and the prices are a bit high but you get allot for your money. It's pretty busy most of the time so call ahead if you can. read more

I have been coming to Alberta for 24 years. It used to be one of the best Italian restaurants in town today. I can only give it up one star rating. The place is really gone downhill the food not as good as it the service has become horrible. The owners are very rude people my order was messed up when I got there. I was told they had to make one of the subs they forgot to make after waiting 15 minutes I asked the man cooking the pizzas how much would be he told me he couldn't hear me. I asked him if he needed me to speak up. He came over to the window and closed it in my face and walked away, so I walked back inside and asked for my money back. I told them my food was cold and soggy, which at that point they started making excuses and pretty much acting like they refund me so I took the soggy food I will never eat place again. I don't suggest anybody else eat here as well until they get their act together. The owner is very rude and does not respect his I give it a one star read more

Restaurant is located at the corner of US 1 and East Marion. Private parking lot with more spaces behind the building. There is a pick-up window on the north side of the building. Walk up and be sure to push the doorbell to obtain service. Not sure they can see customers outside the window; that, or they are not very attentive. No signage that directs ones attention to the doorbell either. Pizza is decent. It is more of a doughy pizza as opposed to a thin, crispy crust. Ingredients were fresh. The veggie pizza has spinach. While I love spinach, it doesn't seem to go well on the veggie pizza as it bakes up much faster. The tomato sauce is just a plain sauce that seems as good as out of a can. Service, even though pick-up, was very transactional. For two 14" pizzas, we paid just over $37. While the pizza is decent, I'd likely try somewhere else next time. read more
