Update: looked at my credit card bill and the rude lady really tried to charge me an extra $10.....$19 for two slices of pizza are you crazy. She created her own tip after I picked up. Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional I wonder how many other people she could've ripped off who don't check their bank statements. Do not come here

To true Italian style the service was attentive but not pushy. Food: ordered the Sicilian pie with pepperoni & sausage. Toppings are ample and the dough was cooked to perfection, light & crispy. We split a main of chicken parm and substituted vodka sauce with rigatoni. All cooked just right. Everything was delicious and we'll definitely be going back to try other true Italian dishes.

The bread was laughable: no garlic, no oil, no seasoning--just premade rolls that appeared to have been heated and served with some of the smallest butter containers known to mankind. The restaurant also needed a serious cleaning. The ceiling was disgusting, and the wall decorations were covered in dust. To be fair, our server was great. Unfortunately, there's only so much a good server can do when the kitchen is producing food this bad. Everyone at our table left plenty of food behind, and we threw the leftovers in the garbage outside. I felt sick to my stomach for the entire ride home. The prices were completely unjustified, and the restaurant gave the impression of relying on tourists who may never return. If you think I'm exaggerating, read the other reviews. This place has clearly perfected the art of turning simple food into a full-scale culinary disaster.

When I arrived, the restaurant was understandably busy, as it typically is on a Friday night. There were three female associates working at the front counter. One was on the phone, so I provided my name to another associate and was asked to wait until the phone call was completed. Instead of taking care of my order, the staff proceeded to assist another guest who had arrived after me with her to-go order. They accepted her payment, provided her food, and then a DoorDash driver arrived and was also assisted before my order was completed. After waiting, I was finally able to pay for my order. I left a $5.00 tip, but I was disappointed that I did not receive a simple thank you or even an acknowledgment for the delay. Once I arrived home, I called the restaurant and asked to speak with the manager on duty. I was placed on hold and later told that I would need to call back later that evening or the following morning. When I called back the next day, the employee who answered said she could assist me. I explained what had happened and received an apology, but unfortunately it did not come across as particularly sincere or understanding. I explained that this was not the first time I have experienced poor service from the front-of-house staff. She stated that they were working on additional training to better accommodate and thank customers placing to-go orders. I appreciated her taking the time to listen, but based on my repeated experiences, I am not very optimistic that future visits will be different. This is now the third time I have encountered issues with the front-of-house service. The food itself is good--the pizza is comparable to many other establishments in the area. My wife did notice that the seasoning on the chicken marsala was different from what she has experienced at other Italian restaurants. Unfortunately, good food can only go so far when the customer service experience continues to fall short. Our usual Italian restaurant is Caffé Vesuvio, and based on these repeated experiences, we will likely be choosing them more often going forward.
