We were looking up spots for dinner in NSB and saw that Prima had 5 stars and a TON of reviews, so *obviously* we had to check it out. MAN. THIS PLACE. It's a classic homestyle type spot that is always busy and feels very family-oriented right out of the gate. We had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated at the bar but it was worth every second of the wait. Service was great and everyone was super nice and running around - it was a well-oiled machine. We got a bottle of wine and relaxed while we stuffed our faces with the burrata (holy cow, please order this dish - it's not only beautiful but delicious). Our bartender recommended getting a pizza and doing half and half - since we couldn't decide which one we wanted to order. We got the special of the day and the Bee Line half/half pizza. That hot honey was literally to die for - I can't get over the flavor. It was truly unlike any other pizza I'd ever had before. Everything was super fresh and you could feel the love in every bite. I was really impressed with the quality and the originality. Obviously we HAD to order dessert (when in Rome...) so we got the affogato to share and it was pretty good. I can not rave about this place enough. If you're in NSB on canal street this is the only place to go. On a weekend you will have to wait a little bit as it's a small establishment with only a handful of tables, but it's worth it. It may be better for those wishing to eat in the establishment, rather than a to-go order. Ordered a Large Pie BYO Pizza with Pepperoni at $18.00 on 1/31/26. Upon arrival on a busy Saturday night, there was no room to easily pick up the pie. Everywhere I stood seemed to be the wrong place to stand as I was impeding upon the waitstaff. I opted to wait outside the restaurant and settle the bill there as well. Upon getting the pie home and eating it, we found the pie was very thin, far too much sauce for the thinness of dough causing each slice to droop. Decided to try out Prima Pizza Cucina Friday evening. The line was out the door and the was an hour wait. They only have a few tables inside some more outside. Definitely one of the better local spots in the NSB area .One thing to note is DONT underestimate those garlic knots. They will send u into a butter coma! In terms of the pizza, I have found opting for the smaller size yields a better pizza in terms of the dough. Just comes out a little crispier and thinner. That goes for most pizzerias however. Whichever you choose though, your still going to get a good pizza. The lemon Caesar salad was not my was refreshing and light, but not my cup of tea. I prefer a more traditional Caesar salad in comparison to this lemon based one, but if lemon is your thing go right on and order it you will love it. Overall this little joint is great for for most occasions. Just keep in mind it's a small place with limited seating so get there early. read more

Service, location, variety, trendiness, demographics Things to consider: salads were good but food in general is a northeast 5 and a Florida 7. Pizza was undercooked and floppy. Margarita came with cherry tomatoes on top and it weighted the whole thing down with water. I couldn't get through a second piece. Kids stuff was ok. We arrived at about 6:45 on the Wednesday night and sat outside. our server introduced himself and promptly brought us our first beverage at which point we placed our orders and my wife got the Greek salad and we both shared the white clam pizza. did Rome was coming out of the restaurant were very good, and the pizzas that were showing up at tables next to us were even better! wasn't much longer when that pizza arrived and I can tell you that it was a very good pizza. We we'll definitely be back to try others as this was one of probably 16 different pies that they have not to mention you can build your own.
