Walking through and around this store is too exceptional, the people that work here are so "happy!" I cannot fathom how much they care. Actually I can . Love exists here and it's a place to food shop in the local area. I so enjoyed walking through the store and seeing all that is happening. They are veteran friendly and strong here. How patriotic!! As you shop it's seems like you can just experience so much joy walking up and down the aisles . At every turn is a different wonder that makes an impression on the individual. You have random dogs that are walking their owners enjoying being out. You have beautiful flowers that look great. What sort of plants do you need? I went there on Feb.12 and 13, 2025, driving from Hoover Dam Lodge Hotel, for beverage and breakfast. First night, I got juice, eggs(turns out bringing them to Williams AZ), mini croissants, strawberry, and Mexican Coca Cola, costed $27.95. Second night, I got mocha ice cream for dinner(eating alone in the Nissan Rouge), three bottles of Mexican Coca Cola( bringing back to China), and a jar of Kosher pickles, costed $17.44. They have curbside pick up here!! Order ahead and simply park in one of the marked spots ! It's very popular so you may need to park somewhere else if so, simply call the number on the signs for pick up or in the app and you can easily direct the person to your car. Hello All, Went to Winco because Albertsons is extremely expensive. Cherries- $1.88 a pound. Milk always $1.58. Great meats, prices and sales. I went to Albertsons on Saturday and cherries weren't on sale anymore. A bag was $9.86 cents. For a fruit! Of course I didn't buy them. How long is this going to go on in Boulder City? What happened to the once in a while $5.00 meatloaf? $8.99 for a meatloaf? Check out their bread prices. Unbelievable, what if you have children? You better make lots of money or you're not eating. Consult your therapist before you shop here, or maybe you like the enadoline rush of blind corners and feeling like you are in a maze because everything is stacked high in the middle areas you literally can not see who is around the corner. Think I am kidding? Give it a go and tell me I am wrong. If that is not enough maybe you like the thrill of having an "instore shopper" tailgating you to get you to move faster. They do the online shopping and time is money and so get out of the way and fast. People park their baskets and go to get through it. It is like they need traffic signals. Us locals call it the Zoo or the Gym because it feels like you are in an obstacle course. On top of that just for your adventure and surviving the store, you get to pay more for your product. For us locals that think shopping should be pleasant we drive 20 min away to the store that is clean, organized and once in a while you see a couple dancing in the isle to the music. The staff here is amazing they are so helpful and accommodating. I called at 5:00 AM to see if I could get a special order of danish for curbside pickup. I was told no problem by the manager who took my order information and had it made up for us. Incredible customer service . Such a pleasure to have Albertsons as our grocery store. Thank you to everyone who works there. Everyone is so awesome at this store. The weekly sales the store has are excellent we save so much money every week. This review is specifically about the store's in house Bakery department. I went in on a Tuesday morning to pre-order a custom decorated birthday cake to be like one in a photo that I provided. I needed to pick up the cake on Thursday for an evening birthday event. I was told that the only Cake Decorator would be off work on Wednesday and Thursday, so, no. I asked how long the cakes "keep"... they keep for days. "Can you guys make the cake today and I'll pick it up on Thursday? You'd have to hold it until then because I have no place to hide it!" The order taker said "Yes, we can do that!" She said I couldn't speak directly with the Cake Decorator, but I could bring in a printed photo of the way the cake should look. I brought in the photo and they took my order. I was relieved but nervous that they were now doing it same day. And I knew when I picked it up on Thursday there was no fixing any issues. When I came in on Thursday I could not believe how PERFECT the cake was! The cake decorator had even mixed the perfect light sage green for the frosting. The font, decoration writing and colors matched my photo perfectly! The cake looked like I paid $65 for it but it cost NO WHERE NEAR that. For 65. I could have had FOUR of these cakes. They may have given me a discount because of how eager and specific I was, and because I couldn't get the cake made "fresh" due to their scheduling/short staff issue. I do not know the name of their Cake Decorator but they absolutely did the most amazing job. They really know what they were doing. And the cake tasted just like you'd expect a fresh grocery store bakery cake to taste. read more

We stopped in to grab lunch after Hoover Dam and our lovely checker told us about a park we had driven by about 4 minutes back with covered picnic areas and big horn sheep! The sheep were there and it was a highlight of the day. The pre-made deli sandwich was not very good, but the rolls we got from the bakery area were fresh and delicious. Okay, so this virus has had us hunkering down in our home for weeks. We've watched all the TV we care to see, read more books than I can remember, stayed away from everyone & seriously considered becoming hermits. But, today we threw caution to the winds & drove out to Boulder City. While there, we did some quick shopping at Albertsons. The store was neat as a pin! Clean, orderly & downright spotless. The employees were jovial & quite helpful as we looked for various items. Some items had limit restrictions, but nothing unreasonable. As we entered, an employee was spraying & wiping the trolley handles. The aisles were clearly marked one-way & the employees were wearing masks & gloves. (As we were.) The check outs were marked with icons helping you to keep your distance & even the credit card machine was wrapped in plastic wrap. The Mrs & I were very impressed with the staff, the cleanliness & the concern for your health shown in this store. On may 17th around 4pm, my boyfriend and i went into Albertsons to get some white claws to go out to the lake. At self checkout, the man who was working at the self checkout station, asked us for both of our IDS. But my boyfriend was the one buying the alcohol, so we went back out to the car to grab my ID, as we came back in, he put our stuff back already. He was the absolute rudest person. Positioned at the crossroads of Boulder City Parkway and Nevada Way, the Boulder City Albertson's is the one and only supermarket in town. This is a special Albertson's that serves two customer bases. They are the citizens of Boulder City and both the visitors to Boulder City and Lake Mead with the motorists driving US 93 between Arizona and Las Vegas. In essence the Boulder City Albertson's plays the role of a Walmart in a city in want of one by serving as a locals and visitors place to buy groceries and some general merchandise. This review that is based from my first hand experience discusses this Albertson's from the perspective of a regional supermarket and a local supermarket. It ultimately answers the question, "Could this Albertson's survive in a competitive environment?" Role as a Regional Supermarket:   Situated up the hill from the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, in the shadows of Red & Black Mountain, and along the Intermountain Corridor of US 93 and Interstate 11, this is a supermarket where visitors share the aisles with Boulder City locals. This supermarket and the CVS across the street are the final chances before the open desert to pick up food, consumables, and some general merchandise such as batteries or a charger.   I am a Henderson resident who has frequented this store throughout the years. As a matter of fact two weeks ago it came in handy when my brother needed a phone charger. I have often shopped here before or after a nearby hiking adventure. The visits were usually in conjunction with the Starbuck's in the shopping center. Due to the high prices that Albertson's chain-wide charges, I ordinarily buy a limited amount of items. I am a fan of their house brand Select Choice. Their jalepeno kettle chips, sparkling flavored water, and Italian wedding soup are the bomb. For convenience sakes I will buy a rediculously  overpriced 32 ounce Miller High Life for later. If the visit preceded a hiking adventure, I will pick up a cold water from the refrigerator at the entrance. Unfortunately, Albertson's deleted some hard to find in Las Vegas items that gave them an edge on the competition. This included Friendly's ice cream and Nathan's crinkly cut fries. From the perspective of a regional customer, I appreciate the convenience that it has provided me with in Boulder City Role as the Only Local supermarket:   Minus this store, Boulder City would be a food desert. This can change in the future if the land zoned for a supermarket across the street gets developed. This raises a good question, "Does Albertson's take advantage of being the only supermarket in Boulder City?" My answer is "no." I have not seen price gouging. What I have seen is the same high prices that Albertson's charges throughout Las Vegas interspersed with some sales. I believe that this Albertson's does a fairly good job serving the city. They provide 24/7 shopping, a DMV kiosk, and pharmacy with a full service supermarket. The salesfloor is relatively clean. There are the same amount of employees here as there are in any Albertson's throughout the state.   The one room for improvement could be a remodel to bring it up to the fancier and up to date Albertson's similar to Anthem, Charleston at Desert Foothills, and Blue Diamond at Decatur. Boulder City and its visitors deserve to shop in a beautiful supermarket.   To me, the supermarket experience includes the shopping center it is joined to. One stop shopping and dining adds to the experience by saving time and aggrevation. This location shares a parking lot with Capprioti's, a gym, Domino's, China a Go Go, Starbuck's, Burger King, and etc.   Speaking of sharing a parking lot, it is shared by cars and shopping carts. There is this little issue of the parking lot being on a slight hill. I have yet to and hope never to see a loose cart roll down the slight hill into a car. At any rate, I have parked far away by Burger King or Starbucks. "Could this Albertson's survive in a competitive environment?"  Essentially this question leads into the conclusion of my review. Based on my first hand experience that I shared, I think that if you placed this Albertson's in a competitive retail landscape in the Las Vegas Valley such as Eastern Avenue or Durango Drive it could survive. A similar Albertson's that has survived with intense competition is Eastern at Warm Springs. However, I feel that if this supermarket was to have a high chance of surviving in a competitive supermarket landscape it would need to lower prices across the store, execute a remodel to modernize it, and return to stocking hard to find brands in Las Vegas. read more

This store is so gross. It has nothing inside that even looks appealing. The produce section is the worst. The displays are always dirty and nothing is ever fresh. The bakery section is all defrosted stuff. They shouldn't be allowed to call it bakery. This store is the only grocery store in town so I guess they figure they don't have to try to hard. I was at albertsons today and saw a woman by the name of Jenny completely berating another deli employee for prioritizing a customer. The scolding was so loud it echoed through the store. The employees including management, are the rudest, unappreciative and very unhelpful., They never have the items that a person is used to buying and needs for their health and personal taste buds, anymore. This is the WORST store EVER! I live in Boulder City and these people that work there are HORRIBLE! Rude, put your raw meat in with other food. This is the worst stocked store I've ever seen...and I've been a customer as well as a manager at multiple high-volume stores throughout the Western US. I don't know if the respective dept managers don't understand supply and demand or what the issue is, but the inventory management here is terrible. Just moved to town and have been to this store 3 times now. Every time I go I need to stop at the deli. The deli employees are the WORST. Every time I go I am ignored. They don't smile. They seem unhappy to be there. Last time I went it was two guys behind the counter. One was cutting meat and couldn't see me but was talking to another employee facing me. The guy facing me completely ignored me to the point where I had to say excuse me. The man walked up to me and just stared. Just moved back to BC from living two years in LA & I was shocked to find this is the only show in town now. Why? Who's keeping us from having a healthy two store town? Back on subject but I'm just saying. I've phoned and asked for organic ground turkey since otherwise we'll have to drive to Costco for it and have a child with CP we cook for daily. Still don't have any but at least the guy was pleasant and said he'd ask the meat manager. Tired of the floor employees who avoid any eye contact in case you may disturb their conversations and need help. Yes, lots of chit chat here for sure but not with the customers. Bought two pounds of organic butter and this is Sept. got home to see the use by date is July 09! That seems to be a trend since the avocados were so old that there were flies buzzing all around the produce section and tiny gnats were trying to dive bomb my eyes Things are rarely better for the consumer when there's no healthy competition to raise the standard of quality. Clean store, busy store being the only game in town. Yesterday, I started at the deli and waited 10 minutes to be waited on. Several other customers waiting walked away. I believe there were 5 or 6 employees behind the deli counter and not a one seemed to urgent to help or pick up the pace seeing a line form. 1 lady, seemed like the boss looked so mad to have to wait on me I wanted to buy more than 1 item but couldn't stand her so I got the meat and left. Now on to the bakery. The manager is HORRIBLE. If you do not like your job, move on!!!! Plenty of places looking for workers. Might I suggest a job not in a public service setting. I feel sorry for her employees. Meat counter: girl behind the counter didn't even say thank you. Crazy!!! Good for what I use it for. I usually stop by to grab a few items before I hit up the lake or go hiking. The deli staff are pretty nice folks. The place is well organized , they have a pretty large clearance area. There's not much to choose from in boulder so this place kinda winds by default. read more
