I went in on January 28 and there was milk that had expired on January 27. I went in just for milk and all the milk options were either expired, were expiring the next day or within a few days. No options that was at least a week. I left and went to target and they had milk that would last at least a week or longer. I absolutely love this Albertson's location and a majority of the workers are nice, but I ran into one guy that was extremely rude to me and I'm writing this review strictly about him. Approximately 2:30PM on Sunday, September 21st, I asked him a product question - if they had the product and if they did, then where. Not only did he continue walking AWAY from me as he spoke, but he looked extremely unenthused and answered me in a rude tone. He did not help me whatsoever, did not WANT to help me, and I want to say I *think* he's a Caucasian manager in a black polo and I spoke with him near the self-checkout kiosks. He absolutely has no customer skills whatsoever and ruined my entire shopping experience today. Other than this rude employee, I love this location. read more

Local grocery store although can be expensive with the rising cost of everything, this Albertsons is well stocked and has great deals with membership and the store app. It's a fairly large grocery store, although on occasion, some sale items do get messed up, but overall, it still has all the essential and you can find pretty much everything you need. There's a wine and liquor section by the right side of the store along with a flower shop, and then some pharmacy items as well. The produce section is no the left side with a deli and cake section as well. Usually at least one or two cashiers on hand depending on when you go and there is a self checkout option as well. Great local grocery store in Quail Hill! I come often for simple groceries and wine. I do find it inconvenient that half the store is locked up in cabinets. I didn't realize there was such a high crime rate in this area. They do have good deals on wine, so I usually keep an eye on that. read more

Most food is expired or poorly handled. Most of the milk is always expired. Also a lot of very expired meat. Finally managed to find a package of chicken thighs that wasn't expired but when I opened the package at home the same day it smelled completely spoiled. It doesn't end there - most of the fresh pastas and dairy are also often expired and on the shelves. Truly lovely. Don't bother coming here for ANY kind of personal products. They are all locked up. I realize this is becoming a trend, but this is absolutely ridiculous. There has to be a better way to deal with this. Who has time to wait for an employee to come over to open a cabinet? What if I need to compare products? What if multiple people need things? I live walking distance so I go to this Albertsons a few times a week. They regularly sell expired food. I don't bother writing a bad review usually, but this has happened to me over 10x, so I am becoming concerned with the safety of their food. I bought a premade soup there yesterday (August 6th) and I just ate some and it tasted weird. I checked the date and it said use by July 14th, which is almost 3 weeks ago, so it's not even near the cut off by mistake. This happens regularly in the dairy and cheese sections. Additionally a few weeks ago I bought chicken breast there and the inside of it was green and slimy. I googled it and apparently it is still safe to eat and is an issue chicken get when they grow too quickly, but it is unappealing. I'm unsure if this is the suppliers fault though and not Albertsons, but it is compounded with the expired food issue that makes me turned off to the store. I did not eat the chicken after discovering this haha. Check all the dates before you check out there! A lot of times this happens when my husband goes, who doesn't check dates. Also, place is regularly understaffed. Since I go so much, I have become friendly with a couple employees, and they have all expressed it being understaffed. I also go at all hours of the day (morning noon night) and almost every time is the same people there. I feel bad, they must be working long hours, but throw out the expired food please. read more

Everyone here is so kind! I love this grocery store. Meat : The people here are truly wonderful, if they have the availability to meet your meat needs - they will do it! They sliced a roast into thin slices, because i wanted to make beef jerky. They fresh cut and trimmed some NY Steaks when they sold out on the shelf. They help make recommendations and provide great tips, like when I bought live clams and had no clue what to do with them lol. Deli : Always patient as you choose options and figure out what weight of everything you need! Grocery stores are important, because you usually go at least once a week. Friendly staff all around. Store is clean and aisles are open. There's no self check out here so you will have to wait in line to pay. Located in Quail Hill plaza. Lots of parking outside. Deli counter was closed when I was there and had to buy pre-packaged meat. You have to check dates as some items were expired. Luckily I found a staff and they pulled the expired product. read more

I started coming here because it's conveniently located across the freeway from Kaiser. I noticed that this store is never really crowded, even during peak hours. There is plenty of parking as well and I always get a decent spot. This is a nice and clean market. They have a full bakery, deli, and butcher. I have not always been a huge shopper here as I find their regular prices to be quite high; but during this COVID 19 crisis they have been my favorite and safest store. Other than one day when a cashier was extremely rude (I'm sure it was stress) they have been very good at keeping everyone 6 feet apart, mandating mask wearing and each aisle is designated one way. Now of course there are still those people who ignore the signs but I truly see Albertsons trying to keep folks compliant and safe. They are also giving free bags which most other stores are still charging for. I scanned 4 yogurts and didn't see the sale price as promised so I looked around to find an employee at the self check-out. He commanded "please finish and pay". I had no idea so I asked him and he looked down at me and said "finish and pay". Of course, but with common sense do you want to pay the full price that you see on the machine. Tucked away with lots of parking . The store is older. It's clean and has the worst layout I've ever seen. I will never shop at this store again. It was too frustrating to find the simplest things . There's signs at the end and beginning of the aisles. Each sign lists the most random products for that aisle. I've become a fan of the drive-up grocery pick-up whenever I grocery shop and this specific Albertsons always goes above and beyond to ensure I am in and out in less than 10 minutes. They are very attentive and even sometimes have my groceries ready for earlier pick up. The process is quick and easy and if they need to do a replacement they reach out and confirm. Even if I happen to forget to check my phone they do an equivalent replacement for the ingredient to ensure I'm able to make my meals perfectly. Quick and easy service!
