I just had the most insulting encounter with a young associate right now. I didn't realize what his sarcastic remarks were until I got home. I realized I made an honest mistake of not scanning wings from the deli. Mind you I've already paid for crab legs and crawfish along with my other items. Apparently he followed me and my 11 year old son to my car just to come back and say, are you done with those wings? I was confused, with his comment. I was in a rush to get back home to make dinner for my daughter's birthday. He continued with, "we get the wings for free", "you should have your son work for Albertsons so he can bring home free food". The insult from this kid not knowing I am a regular shopper here! Making an honest mistake. If he knew they weren't scanned, he could've simply said, ma'am, I think there may have been a mistake, or something! I would've paid for it! My mother now shops at Smiths after witnessing a deli employee eating from the salads with her hands. These are the salads at the counter in the glass case. She said this person was tall with long unmanaged hair with no hair net. How unsanitary on so many levels. I am in complete shock at this incident. Eating and long hair with no hair net around food? I've been shopping there since the day they opened because it's my neighborhood Albertsons! The service has went completely in the toilet! They refused to open lanes when they can clearly see a line. They disrespect their patrons! Every other time we go there they ring up our items wrong even though I have it on my app! Then customer service acts like it's a burden for you to get a refund/ correction before you even leave the store. My 30 yr daughter's has had several incidents at this location including one today! She went in a self-check line and some employee stepped in front / blocking her and told her she couldn't check out in that line! The actions of this staff is absolutely unacceptable and corporate in my opinion needs to do an overhaul! read more

Although it's not my favorite grocery store, I come here often due to its convenient location. They also have a Starbucks, Redbox, and CoinStar inside. The staff is friendly and helpful, and shelves are usually pretty well stocked. I have very few issues when coming here aside from the checkout times. Unless you're buying items on clearance (that have to be manually keyed) or have coupons, you're always better off going to self checkout because the lines are often pretty long at the few staffed checkouts they have open. If you plan to come here often, be sure to get the Albertsons app pr at least a For U rewards account to accumulate points towards fuel discounts and/or free products rewards! read more

Went to get my medications last night and a few things that i need and 2 minutes before 9pm I had to run to the restroom I have a medical condition that i need to go every 20 minutes or so. it had a cart blocking the men's room and ladies rooms with a sign said see next available cashier. I went to the front and asked what is happening with the rest rooms and was told they close them at 9pm So I had to run though the store and finish my shopping so i could go home and use my restroom. I occasionally go to this store instead of the one on Simmons road, store sometimes busy but usually just in of people shopping. They have a nice range of products but I noticed that the staff are about hundred percent women which is strange also noticed how some of them follow me around the store not sure if this happens to everyone but can be a creepy feeling. Not sure what they are expecting most stores have video cameras and I have never been involved in espionage. read more

Last summer, there were rumors about this store closing--and now, I think they should. I've always had great relationships with the employees, but management seems to be going downhill. One reviewer even noted she had to quit because a supervisor consistently belittled and demeaned employees. That's Kroger for you--manipulative and abusive. Unfortunately, this behavior has trickled down, and every single employee now seems to have developed a poor attitude. For instance, I recently commented to a clerk about Tide laundry soap being locked up: "You locked up the Tide? Are you kidding?" Her sarcastic reply was, "They do that everywhere else!" Sure, maybe some places do, but does that make it right? Instead of engaging, she ignored me and walked away. Is theft such a rampant issue that locking up laundry soap is necessary? If that's the case, this store clearly has bigger problems. I've only been there twice and won't be going back. Thankfully, I have my groceries delivered by Walmart or Amazon, and I see this as the future--the end of traditional grocery stores as we know them. The "Amazon Effect" is on the horizon. Grocery chains have long been known for being controlling and abusive, and I refuse to support businesses that don't align with my values. read more

Absolutely horrid store to shop at. As someone who frequents the Hualapai location I will not be returning. Went in today for a simple grocery run getting drinks for tomorrow. As I'm walking to liquor I see a short, blonde woman leading an employee (to where I'm unsure) and pointing like a dog, telling him to go home. First 5 minutes in the store were not pleasant. I grab my sodas and find the rest of my groceries, head to checkout, where there were 3 checkstands open, with lines backed up to the aisles and no baggers at a single one. I don't understand how its 11 am the day before a holiday and nobodys working. Chose not to wait in line and went to self checkout instead, which was simple enough even with needing a manager to help with my alcohol purchase. Bad customer service in the self checkout lane...I shop for instacart & doordash which is my job & a service used to shop for others...I pay bills with my earrings & do not play about this boss free employment I've been blessed with... with that being said an employee of Albertsons by the name of Dana. She works self check out she assumes me & everybody is stealing I guess by how aggressively she implements herself in your shopping. She make sure you don't forget any items in your basket even if she has to tell you...I feel that that's harassment nature, can't go to a grocery store in peace. i'm shopping for others. She has no clue what I'm doing. On the shopping app I may have two separate orders so one has to be checked out before the other, which I happened to have that day. She's all in my basket trying to combine my items by saying, "you forgot that water" calm down lady this shopping for two different people. That's harassment. It doesn't look good at all. This is my first time at any Albertsons. I do like it better than their sister store down the street. I was able to get in and out during my late lunch, which was surprising. There's nothing special about this location. It's conveniently located to the Centennial neighborhood. They do offer coupons online via their app which you clip in app and use your phone number when checkout. read more

This review is for the Joe from the bakery. I had been indecisive about my daughters cake and where to go that was not only good but not an arm and leg as well. I first went to Vons on buffalo and was treated very rudely upon asking if they had a book to look at. I immediately left at that point. I typically go to Albertsons on farm and Durango to shop so I figured I would stick to what I know. Joe not only had a welcoming attitude but was very helpful. He gave suggestions and honest the cake turned out perfect and DELICIOUS! we got a 1 tier unicorn cake; white with fresh strawberry and whipped frosting! We also purchased 12 unicorn cupcakes (chocolate and white mix) My 3 year old loved them all and my guests were impressed on how good they were. This Albertsons is okay. It's located off of the 95/Durango. It's in a large plaza, but, parking is a nightmare. They just recently added additional parking spots, but doesn't really help the situation for Albertson's parking area. It shares next to local businesses like Subway, Starbucks, Bank of America, and several others. I typically go to the Savon pharmacy in Albertsons, but one time, I needed to pick up a few groceries. The meat on display was expired and the fruit selection was relatively difficult. The oranges were old. My daughter and I couldn't really find any good oranges to pick out. Albertsons is a bit pricier than your other larger supermarkets. I would recommend another grocery store if you're in the area or if you can make the extra drive. read more

Everything was fine and dandy, employees wearing masks and practicing social distancing but I went to the bathroom and found this guy, at least he's dead. I understand with warmer temperatures they're prone to come out, it's definitely something the store should look into to make sure there are not more hiding in the store. read more

Does not enforce the mask mandate. Frustrating that the teen employee at the door consistently wears his mask below his nose. Also the store routinely allows customers without masks in, and today I saw two in the fresh fruit and vegetable section, both chatting away then touching their faces, mouths or noses before squeezing fruit and selecting vegetables and walking right up to people, as close as 1 or 2 feet away. As someone who has lost two family members to COVID, I find this very upsetting. I love the cashiers in this store but I've seen them berated by unmasked customers. The management are the ones doing a very poor job of protecting their staff and customers in this store. If you are concerned about COVID, stay away from this one. read more

I ordered groceries to be delivered due to being swamped at work, getting home late and needing them for the next morning at 5. It gets changed to pickup. Hmmm ok my recipe says delivery until they sent a new one 10 hrs after I placed my order but ok. Pissed but I go to the store to pick them up and get some answers. Get there and all the manager can say is "we don't have anything to do with online orders I'm sorry". Hmmmm not ok since your the same company but give me my *** groceries and let's go. Had one request for the person picking out the groceries. Pick milk with the furthest expiration date since I'm ordering 3. Today is 9-19. Get two cartons expiration date 9-27. Unpack more groceries. Rotten mushrooms. Rotten and damaged potatoes. Horrible. Call the online number. Wait on hold for a total of 45 minutes. Get more of "umm I don't know what happened we can't change anything". Done. Absolutely done with this company. No one has any information, knows anything OR pick out quality groceries. Or maybe they sent the best they had in the store which sadly wouldn't surprise me in the least. read more

I recently shopped at this location and I was very impressed with the customer service (which now a days a lot of companies lack). With that being said I would like to point out two of the employees that helped us. Davin in the meat department was so friendly and helped me pick out the meat of choice for tonight's dinner. He always had a smile on his face. Once I was done shopping there was 4 to 5 lanes open as well as self check out. I really liked seeing that on a holiday weekend. Michael the clerk that checked us out was super sweet and very patient with us. He engaged in conversation and smiled the whole time as well. He was very friendly and the gentleman that was bagging our items was kind as well. Everyone now a days is in a big hurry and grumpy. I rarely shop here but when I do it's always super clean and they have a great selection of everything. The aisles are always perfectly organized and look like a picture out of a magazine! I like the wine selection and the Starbucks inside is nice too. It is a little expensive though, which is why I don't shop here too often. I started checking my receipt every time and 95% of the time they overcharge for something, especially items on sale. Yesterday the mistake was over 20$ !
