Super disappointed. I came to pick up an order for my mom. They only have 2 pick up spots which makes no sense at all, you know more people are picking up then that, I drove around for a few minutes but the 2 people parked in those spots weren't even in there vehicles. Barely any communication and told me my receipt was in the trunk got home and the whole reason my mom placed the order was for one thing specific and it wasn't even there. With everything going on in the world right now concerning racism, I would think your staff could hide their racist policy a bit better. There were no minorities in self checkout until I stepped to the line to wait for an open stand. I watched your worker standing at his cash register to the side of that area. He was perfectly comfortable standing that distance away from shoppers checking out until he saw me. I watched in the corner of my eye as he slid to stand in the middle lane of the checkout area to watch me. He stood there until I got my receipt and walked away. I've been shopping at this Albertsons store for probably 12+ years; and after today I'm done. This cashier SHAUNA was the rudest check out clerk I've ever seen!! I started by saying hello when it was my turn and she responds " you need to purchase $25 worth of groceries to get the sodas for $10" Well EXCUSE me I have well over $25 worth of groceries in my cart. I actually love Albertsons! It's pricier than other bigger grocery stores obviously, but they have a little bit of everything and it's just more convenient. This location tends to be busy, but I still like coming here. I usually go to the smiths by my house, but this Albertsons carries specialty beers around the holidays that other stores don't have. read more

It's really sad that I have to ask someone to unlock the glass cabinet to buy Gillette Razors. This is so ridiculous. If you have a theft problem, get a security guard or a surveillance system. This used to be a great store. Used to be. The last three times we ordered they have messed everything up. They take it upon themselves now to substitute things. We ordered frozen takis. Got snack bags. Walked in the store and found the frozen ones. The girl told us they had no ground beef in the store. We went in and there was plenty. Being a busy on the go mom, exhausted from the week I had I left my phone in the cart, even pushed the cart in to the cart caddy without realizing I left my iPhone. I got home, started dinner, and while I went for a flashlight on my phone to feed/water a neglected dog owned by the neighbor I realized my phone was not with me, I called my phone and it was answered by Kyle the employee at Albertsons. I went to pick up my phone and found out the BRAXTON the cart employee for lack of better words, found it and made sure it was returned safely. They REFUSED to take a tip from me, I just had to say THANK YOU YOUNG MAN, for being an honest and sweet person!! I appreciate you immensely!!! It's alright of a market. I go for produce which is nice on select items- fruits and greens have been lovely here lately. Like every market inland, it seems there are "off" times, but the produce manager does fairly well with keeping it fresh and neat. Soda is usually on sale (BF drinks Sierra Mist Ruby Splash) so we roll in to stock his drink. I go here when I'm at Blockbuster or if I can't find something at Smiths which is closer to my house. read more

This is the closest grocery store by the house. It is very convenient, and it is 24hrs, so it works well with my weird schedule! They don't have the cheapest prices, especially their liquor and wine, but for the most part it is fair. The cashiers are very cool here though...usually hooking it up with coupons and telling me about certain savings like when new Blu Rays get released, they usually throw in free popcorn, candy, drinks etc. Cool value! read more

Nice bright clean supermarket. The prices are noticeably higher than Winco, but if you check the weekly ads, you can get some really greats deals. Mostly I have noticed that you can great prices on seafood. Sometimes they will have ahi tuna for $2.99 a piece (3 oz portion), clams for $1.99/lb, and many sizes of shrimp for cheap (once got size 16/20 for $7.99/lb). The usual guy at the seafood counter is really helpful also. The meat is pretty overpriced, and for a dozen eggs here, you can get 18 at Winco. For convenience, they have two Red Boxes inside and a Starbucks. I always get my copies of the Weekly and The Sunday in the front where you get the shopping carts. I was a little disappointed. I was never really a big of Albertsons much less this location but heard it was remodled so i went in with the wife the other day to check it out. Yes, I do like the new look better from how it was before, it is much less cluttered and just very simple, it feels much more clean and spaced out. The prices on the other hand have not changed at all since it opened. I was hoping to find a nice new market out in this area that I could call my own as the Smith's at Durango and Elkhorn is just wayyyy too busy and very cluttered inside. I'll have to skip on this one for now. I'll stick to getting groceries from Fresh & Easy or the Target with food on North Decatur, both have very competitive prices. read more

Having a long Monday no time to cook dinner trying to get to the deli and salad bar, unfortunately I didn't quite make it and they closed Liam from deli was so kind came over to bring me a spoon and tray & said it's open for you Wow, His warm, welcoming friendly demeanor and hospitality of going out of his way to show act of-kindness seriously made my hard long day brighten me up and help me see "true blessings do come from the kindness of others". When I got to check out even the cashier was so nice and smiling with greetings. This is why I LOVE Albertsons. They are personable , that's hard to find these days. Do NOT get a Covid shot at the pharmacy! They do not follow protocol and the open one vile of medication into pre-ready shots and leave the OUT IN THE OPEN unrefrigerated which spoils the medication! When I asked the pharmacist why it wasn't refrigerated she "Tried" to explain its ok to leave the medication (Shots in dispenser) on the counter room temperature for over 6 hours. So believe it not the lady pharmacist couldn't tell me whether the covid-medication room temperature was good or not. She went to the computer to try to find more information. People go some where else! Do not get your shot at this pharmacy - medication is vile and not good. read more

WHAT A JOKE! The current law says you HAVE TO wear a mask in public establishments. I watched multiple people not wearing masks walking right past workers and NOT ONE said anything to them! I never write reviews and try to give people the benefit. The store is not the newest or cleanest and is outdated, espescially compared to the clean and appealing Smith's 1 mile away. Went to buy ribeyes on sale and asked for a different thickness, which I have done before. This time they told me I would have to pay the full price and not the sale price for a "custom cut". There is no sign or anything in the store to alert you. Just an arbitrary policy. Spoke to store personnel who were not helpful. Called the Albertsons hotline and they are looking into it. Depending on the follow up and answer I may then call consumer affairs and weights and measures. Go shop at Smith's! read more

I love this grocery store. All the cashiers are so nice! I've gotten to know them since moving in nearby and I don't shop anywhere else now. They usually have a great selection of produce and meats. There is a younger black guy that works there, he is so sweet! He is always smiling and asks if I need anything when I see him in the aisles. He rocks! The people behind the butcher counter are nice too! They are happy to cut a roast in half for me or slice up some bones for my dogs. I'm very happy with my neighborhood Albertson's. read more

The store managers are extremely rude to new employees. My daughter recently got hired here and a new manager verbally harassed her without even stating who she was and her position or even asking my daughters name first before speaking to her aggressively. It was her second day at work and she was told that they could take (2) 10 minute breaks after 2 hours of working but nobody told her they had to ask before leaving. The manager is a young woman and she told my daughter " What are you doing I'm not paying you to sit in here on your phone" when SHE isn't paying my daughter ANYTHING. Nobody had told my daughter any rules and she had only spoke to 2 managers who told her no rules as well. The manager who acted unprofessional towards by daughter even tried to send her home that day but they spoke with another manager and decided to let her stay. The next day she worked (even though the situation should have been left at a warning because they didn't make her leave work) they had her sign a paper without contacting me first, and they did not tell her she didn't have to sign the paper (which they should have) This whole incident is unprofessional and I know they are being disrespectful and blaming more kids for their lack of professionalism. read more

Having shopped at Albertsons in the past, the best they could have down was get rid of the "loyalty" card. I often wondered why a major chain would go down this road. I have a card, I get discounts.....Why not mark down for everyone and "F" the card. Well, they have and kudos to them. The parking lot was a tad nuts but I parked in the North 40 without any issues. This particular location has lots to offer and is nice and clean inside. The staff is friendly enough. I wondered over to the meat section and found multiple items marked by one get one free. The chicken I was about to purchase looked just as good as it would eventually taste. There are a lot of different grocery shopping choices in the valley. Since my last visit I have found some of the impulse buys I purchased elsewhere are cheaper. But this will do in a pinch. All in all, Albertson's is A-OK. read more

It seems that this store need serious improvement with customer service. My mom and sister went to this location and was helped by a cashier Shauna. She provided the worse customer service. My mom was getting clarification with some coupons that could and couldn't be used. She responds I know what coupons you can use. Then my mom clarified once more and said don't you speak English. Now what employee would respond to a customer like that? My mom felt humiliated the way she was treated. I read another review on how cashier Shauna treated another customer poorly. This is a problem and disciplinary action should be taken. There are also other reviews on the poor customer service that was provided. With a company that is so big they should really treated customers with respect and uphold the customer service standards. My mom won't be shopping at this location. This place is so close to my house. I used to go here a lot. Now I see they took away the loyalty cards so the discount savings is gone. The cashier states they dont need a card as they post all the savings up front. I think NOT. Ive been shopping here for 6 plus years and all I can see is the prices got higher. Sad sad sad. I was reminded this afternoon that the kids are ways watching. I recently had surgery and I have a hard time lifting my toddlers out of the basket, but life has to go one right. One kid wanted to sit on the top the other in the main basket. I was unloading a few bags and the kids inside the cart area, directly behind another cart, completely out of the way when the cart guy comes in with so many carts he sticking out of both the main door and the inner door. He said excuse me ma'am and waved his arms that I was in his way. My son was completely stuck in the cart and this point and I couldn't get him out, added on the stress that I was apparently in someone else's way, which I wasn't. We left and both kids said mommy we weren't in anyone's way, that was his fault. I wish someone would have I don't know helped me or said it's ok instead of looking at me like it was my fault that the carts were blocking the entrance. read more

I've complained in the past & simply stopped shopping there. Ran in Thursday night, bought 10 yogurts. 5 are expired, the other 5 expire within 7-10 days! What's even better?
