I have to say, this CVS in Boulder City has some of the weirdest, strangest, unfriendly, and…read moreirritating employees working there. I'm speaking mostly about the front-end store clerks. There's one unfriendly woman in particular who has to say "sir" in every other word. Doesn't smile. Comes off sounding like an army sergeant or a robot. It's not polite. It's annoying and triggers my PTSD. The pharmacy employees are fine, usually friendly, helpful, but sadly overworked. Nothing new with any slave-labored pharmacy anywhere, but they're much more pleasant to deal with than the front-end store clerks. Being the ONLY drug/convenience store in town, it leaves little choice to shop there.

The older cashier with the purple hair and glasses has made several rude passive aggressive comments , and has acted towards me in ways that displays racial prejudice for several months now when I come in alone to make a purchase, use the atm, or make a money transfer. This location is convenient in my daily routes and routines so I'm in here quite often for retail or prescription needs; and every other cashier, front end associate, and pharmacy tech is kind and professional; so I let it go and just tried to avoid making purchases if I came in and saw this cashier on duty. But today while out shopping with my mom; this same cashier made a rude remark about my mother when she had to run out to her car for her debit card. And considering the only other person in line was MYSELF who was doing my own transaction, the cashier's comments were unnecessary and uncalled for. I called and spoke to store manager LINDSEY; who was rude and unprofessional as well and had little to no regard for the valid complaints of racial discrimination and poor customer service. She insinuated she would not be doing anything to follow up with the behavior of this cashier or addressing any bias behaviors. She then called me dramatic and drastic for simply telling her about my poor experiences that I've had in HER STORE, and how HER STORE has made me and now my mother feel uncomfortable and unsafe to shop. I am furious with this situation and lack of professionalism from LINDSEY , and what she chooses as acceptable behavior in her store.

The two staffers made no acknowledgement of me as I entered and when it was time to check out, I opted for the Self Checkout since the woman was sharing a long and detailed story about how she "got her own CVS store after seven years."
