I always come here as its my fav Albertsons. There's a starbucks in here and lots of self serve check out. I prefer this. To be in and out. The store is conveniently organized. Easy to find things and the workers are all nice and helpful and mostly chill. Sometimes they have great deals. Especially their friday deals. Its clean here and stocked. Most times ill buy food here every 2 weeks just bc its so convenient. I buy my dad's cigarettes here and sometimes can get really great deals. read more

I'm updating my review because the way this situation has been handled has only become more concerning. This started when I asked a simple question about why my drink came out last even though I ordered first. Instead of acknowledging it or apologizing, the employee became defensive and dismissive. When I explained that I was just looking for basic customer service, she told me she didn't have time for this and directed me to speak with a manager. I spoke with the manager, Gerardo, who apologized and told me to come back the next day for a drink on the house. However, when I returned, the same employee approached me while I was in line and told me I needed to speak to a manager again. I explained that I had already spoken to him and that's why I was there. I also told her I was confused by her behavior since I'm a regular and have never had an issue before. She continued to argue with me, told me I was out of line, and insisted I speak to someone else, because Gerardo is not her manager. He's only HR! which was confusing and embarrassing in front of other customers. I stepped out of line and spoke with Gerardo again, who seemed unsure of how to handle the situation. He initially offered to get my drink, then changed to offering a gift card instead, which was not what I wanted. It was frustrating to be told to come back, only to be confronted again when I did. After that, it felt like the original promise about getting a drink was no longer being followed, and the focus shifted to offering me a gift card instead. To me, it felt less like the issue was being resolved and more like I was being pushed aside. When I explained how all of this made me feel, I was then told that if I felt that way, I should not come to this location anymore. As a regular customer who comes here often, that response was upsetting and disappointing. I expected understanding and reassurance, not to be told not to return. If I felt that way was unethical since this is my local Albertsons where me and my family kids come all the time also when I called to follow up, I was told a completely different version of events--that the employee felt "attacked" by me and that other customers supposedly agreed with her. This does not reflect what actually happened. There was only one person behind me at the time, and several people who ordered after me had already received their drinks. It was a simple question that escalated unnecessarily. The whole experience left me feeling like maybe I should not have expressed my concern, even though I was only trying to understand what happened. As a customer, I should be able to ask a reasonable question without being treated this way or having the situation turned against me. This entire experience has caused me stress, anxiety, and embarrassment. What should have been a quick and simple interaction turned into a situation where I felt singled out, dismissed, and blamed. I personally think that Albertsons needs to step it up a little bit they have a lot of competition with Ralph's. Ralph has a bigger selection of food, precooked food and their Chicken in their Deli is $5 for four pieces. The service is okay never had a problem. I love their produce section. They have a wonderful assortment of items at the deli. Their butcher counter always has amazing cuts of steaks. The one thing I hate about this store is their shopping carts. They lock up as soon as you get past the first 4 spaces in the parking lot. I'm stuck forcibly dragging the cart to my cat. After spending close to $300 on groceries, I should not have to fight a cart. Fix this. read more

I have reached my limit with Albertson's and, specifically, the La Mesa CA store on Fletcher Parkway. Their produce is unreliable at best. The last two times I purchased "fresh" corn, I had to throw it out the day I purchased it because once the husks were removed, the stalk end was discolored and rotten. Twice I have had to throw out entire watermelons because one was white and stringy in the middle and the other was overripe. That aside, today - Friday afternoon at 4:15, there were two checkout open with 5-6 carts / customer in each line. The Self Check out was empty thanks to some braintrust who decided that limiting self-checkout to 15 items was a good idea. When I suggested to the cashier that they needed to get him some help, he inclined his eyes to the ceiling and said "there are cameras everywhere and when they see employees standing around talking, they cut hours." Seriously? Instead of firing people, they cut the labor hours in the store. I worked in this industry and my experience with half the employees in the store would lead me to fire them on the spot if I could. They are unfriendly, lazy and, clearly a detriment to the customer and the store's reputation. Sad!!! One more thing - if you want to buy alcohol you used to have to ring a buzzer on the alcohol aisle, someone would come get the bottle for you and drop it at the front desk until you checked out - inconvenient, but I understand trying to avert theft. But this store, for some reason, has now removed the buzzers and you have to go hunt someone down to open the cabinet. The last time I was there, the clerk simply handed the bottles to the two of us that were waiting. More convenient for us, but clearly not following policy. This same woman checked me out and never made eye contact, never addressed me - it was like I was a major inconvenience to her. I'm going to Sprouts, Aldi, Trader Joe's, anything to avoid the Kroger monopoly that apparently feels they can treat customers like crap and we will still keep coming back. read more

We were her today at around 2:15, the checker was so rude! His name was Gavin. The person before us asked if they still bagged groceries, Gavin put the items in a bad and basically threw it at him. When we were up he asked if we wanted a bag, he put our items in 1 bag and slid it across the counter. He charged us for 2 bags but we only needed one. He had already rung up the 2 bags before he even knew we needed any. I know they are only 10 cents but that isn't the point! He was rude and unfriendly. Stopped in for a couple things and the standout was a box-girl Jenna. Shes a true standout. Asked me if I wanted her to get the electric cart for me ( i am disabled) we kept following her to the cart and she told us " I would've brought it to you" we smiled and thanked her. They have digital coupons which you have to actually clip/attach from your phone to utilize. You have to scroll on your phone looking for deals versus if you're actually there to be able to utilize the deal without all the extra work doodling on your phone. They make you work and it's really sad when you're at the cashier and you put your phone number in one the terminal and the cashier tells you "oh you're supposed to clip the coupon" and then let's you walk away paying the full price . read more

The bakery was able to help us with a custom cupcake cake and round sugar cookies for our summer Pizza Party! It was so affordable and I was very happy with her work and willingness to attempt my vision. I had no expectations for it to be perfect, but it really was! Although the extra cupcakes I had ordered got missed in all the notes, they made it right by giving us a replacement for free. I want to start off by saying that I shop at various Albertsons stores. This 31960 Temecula Pkwy, Temecula, CA 92592 store is the one with the best service. I purchase a lot of items from the Deli. Big Joe that works in the baking and hot deli section is always great and lets me know of all the current specials that are available daily. Expired products at least once a month, I usually check the expiration dates but I was in a rush yesterday and I did a quick grocery shopping, this was not the first time were i bought expired stuff , it happened to my husband and myself , sometimes I catch the expiration date and sometimes not , this salami was $8 or $10 and my whole family ate it , this is unacceptable! I have been a resident of Temecula for 25 years. I have shopped at all the Albertsons and the Vons stores in the city. I have to say without any hesitation the employees at the Temecula Parkway store are by far the most exceptional. I have never been disappointed or felt a lack of customer service and appreciation. Your staff is always willing to help, always willing to provide excellent customer service. The store is always clean, stocked and organized. Attention to detail and an overview of always being attentive to the customer's needs. I have to address several key employees that have remained top of the list. Seth Lopez, Jordan Karadang and Jerado Avalos keep this store in line and always willing to help. Recently I was assisted by the new meat manager Joe who extended the same professional and outstanding service. I also want to extend my appreciation to all the staff within each department who has been very courteous, well trained and helpful whenever asked for anything. In today's difficult times, it sure is nice to know there still are good people, nice people and professional people who extend themselves for an excellent customer service experience. Stopped by to grab some ingredients for soup; The staff is really nice but can be understaffed. I was there bright & early before 8 am after putting gas in my car. This one lady was handling the cashier all by herself where there was a long line of customers. A nice man named Richard then came and got me as he was opening another cashier register, which I really appreciated. There is also a kind, cheerful lady named Jessica who is sometimes there & helps to bag the groceries. I like knowing the names of people who work in stores. They are on the front line of helping us get what we need to put on the table, & sometimes they have to deal w/ all sorts of personalities from customers. My total bill was super reasonable & $50 or so for me to make a healthy organic kale, Swiss chard, white bean, and sausage soup w/ other organic veggies (plus that much coveted toilet paper that ran out like hot cakes during the pandemic). I have to confess I am more of a Baron's chick in terms of getting my regular produce & to avoid less traffic within the actual store. But it just goes to show you don't have to spend a lot of money to put together a meal. I have also utilized the bakery section here a few times- when you need that last minute birthday cake &/or also the floral department for all seasons of life- most recently for passing of a relative to Mother's Day bouquet to all sorts of celebrations. While I may not drop in here as often, I do appreciate the workers. But it can be super heavy traffic on weekends esp. for people prepping their Sunday dinners. read more

So I went to Abertson to buy some gallons of waters. I also have a boz of rigatoni and a sauce. I decided I wanted to self check out because I don't feel like talking to anyone. So this old worker named Debi saw me walking towards the self check out, and I told her " I'm okay" . So she just kept watching me scanned 6 gallons of water, 1 box or rigatoni and a sauce. Then she made a comment to me " did you scan the rigatoni?" I responded " yes" and I also looked at the screen make sure it got scanned. So she went to her computer to flag on screen for assistant when I was about to pay. She look at the screen carefully and then told me " so you scan it correctly " and then she double check everything one by one...omg I don't know what is her deal, but honestly this whiel transaction is only $13 bucks and why would I want to steal a $2.00 rigatoni? And she gave me the weird look as she is watching me the whole time. Rude and wasting my time. What a horrible customer service MRs. DEBI. I hope I don't get to see her bitter and sour attitude ever again towards other customers. read more

So I've been going to this Albertsons for baked goods for a few years now. During Covid I stopped coming because they weren't fully staffed, but neither was anyone else. I've got to say that some of the early morning bakers are the best. I watched as one of the bakers customize someone's last minute order without complaining. I've been getting the same bakery order for a few weeks and at 6:30 am they have it boxed up and ready to go. Thanks Joe and everyone else who make that happen. I like this store; often walk here from my house, about a 20-25 minute nice walk. They are well-stocked and have huge airy aisles. I'm constantly finding new stuff in here; staff is always nice and real helpful-never had a rude staff member here unlike other stores in the vicinity. I had the pleasure of visiting Albertsons today. If you aren't living under a rock you'd know that wearing a mask in such establishment to be REQUIRED BY LAW. I had the pleasure of getting my coffee and having a verbal altercation with a man wearing his mask on his chin instead of over his mouth and nose. I was staring at him giving him the concerned eye as he had a condescending smirk across his face. Me being a law abiding citizen. I commented to him that, "Everyone is doing their part by wearing a mask and he should put his mask on too". he told me he was wearing his mask although improperly. He applauded me for making a scene because he refused to put the mask on after I confronted him. So yes I made it known to everyone in the store including a black woman and the manager! They approached us and I left because they knew he was breaking their policy and again the LAW! I walked away and expected the manager/employees to handle the situation. I did my shopping and looped around to the checkout. Only to see this man still waiting for his coffee with his mask on around his CHIN. I had left my phone in the car but I would've caught this on camera. As the man was leaving the store he was screaming at me that I should call the cops, and applauding me. I kept telling him to put his mask on and everyone is doing their part accept for him. A woman came up to me saying that guy was pissing her off because she was standing next to him after I left with his mask OFF and everyone was either shaking their heads or complimenting while I sat in line and shamed him. The man left and a black woman comes up to me saying that she was sorry I had to deal with that and he's a regular that comes in for his coffee EVERYDAY and she SAID SHE wished he would just wear his mask while getting his coffee and leave! Wow, apparently because he's a regular he's immune to the rules and LAWS in place. After I checked out and got my groceries. I told my husband what had happened and he called the manager and she said oh he's a regular so that's why nothing was done! I'm seriously so sick to my stomach that a manager is going to take one person not abiding by the rules over the at least 50-60 people that are REGULARS TOO in that store that had masks on! Pharmacy closed at 12:40 mid-day. No sign, just closed windows. What else can I say? The pharmacy subdued are closed but the signs indicate they are open from 8 to 8. Later review: came back and they don't have the medication and might not carry it. No reason to return anytime soon. read more
