I am beyond frustrated with the way some of your employees are bagging groceries. Overpacking paper bags with a ridiculous number of heavy items is not just lazy, it's dangerous and completely useless. These bags break, items get ruined, and customers are left dealing with the mess. Someone needs to actually think before shoving everything into one bag instead of pretending they know what they're doing. Really organized and has awesome deals! I was really surprised by how stocked and organized they were. Everything looked really neat and they seemed to have all of the groceries I needed. Food looked fresh and everyone there is really nice! This is definitely one of the more calmer and quieter grocery stores -- which I like. I'm able to shop in peace and don't have to wait in any crazy long lines. Their deals are pretty good and it's always easy to apply my membership at checkout. We came in for a few items and we have never been to this location before. The door is hard to find as it's tucked away behind the face of the building. Out of the 3 things we came for, we walked out with one item. They did not have fresh pico de gallo or mango salsa in their salsa and chip section which was disappointing. The biggest bummer was their moon drop grapes that I love and haven't seen in years. The two bags they had left were dried, shriveled up and moldy. An employee said he would go back and check their shipment, but nothing. Your cashier was friendly enough, but you definitely need better quality control. read more

It took 10 minutes just to get someone to come open the cases for me. I understand the need to protect product from being stolen, but I don't enjoy waiting and waiting for someone to open them up. I shopped this Grocery Store early Evening last night when there was no crowd & still only one Checkout Lane open. To make matters considerably worse as proof this brand doesn't value Customer's time anymore than they value actual "Customer Service"..., I asked the male & the female Employee behind the counter in the Deli for a price check on an item from an unmarked shelf inside a cooler box feet away at the front of the Store. The time was between 7:30-8:15 p.m.(approximately 7:45 p.m.). Needless to say, after their excuses in refusing to render the price check for me, I previously requested when the two of them emerged from the back room behind the counter, I left this location completely empty handed to spend a substantial sum of my money in a competitor's brand location elsewhere very much to my satisfaction. Sadly, Given the obvious lack of any real interest in actually serving the public from staff at this location, I don't currently recognize reason to trust the management of this brand genuinely cares to earn any brand loyalty from or establish brand loyalty with members of our Community...smh read more

I ordered a graduation cake at the Vons bakery store#1962. I was not happy with it because I wanted chocolate cake. Details: Cake type- Chocolate Filling - Custard Icing - White buttercream The cake was not chocolate it was white cake. They should have told me that. And to pay $45.99. The decoration was okay. But the cake fell apart. I bake cakes round, sheet cakes or chiffon but the cakes don't fall apart. read more

I needed to stop by and pick up a few quick things for the kids for our small road trip home. I liked this Vons as it was clean and seemed to be well stoked and organized. I've ended up stopping here a few times when we been out this way. Cashiers and Employees have been helpful and friendly when looking for certain items. We just moved to Temecula and the people are so nice and friendly here. The stores are very clean and well stocked too.

There is no place to put my shopping basket at the 15 items or less check out lane. I obviously don't want to leave it on the ground for someone to trip over. I asked the clerk if he could take it or if there was a proper spot for it. He advised me to carry up to the front of the store where I originally grabbed it when walking into the store. There should be a proper spot to leave it at check out. Poor customer service and convenience for customers. I'll continue to shop at Trader Joe's when able. In my experience, they have strong customer service and try to help customers as much as possible. read more

We just had our first drive and go pick-up at Von's, and couldn't have been more impressed with the ease of service and the helpfulness of the staff! After calling as soon as we arrived to the store at our pick-up time, Liz assured us that our groceries would be freshly available, and that the cold items were being pulled for the order lastly, to preserve temperature. Liz even took the time to ask us (from a safe distance) about a couple items that were unavailable, so we were able to substitute for the best items for our needs! We greatly appreciate being able to have these groceries shopped for, and placed in our car, as to help us preserve our quarantine regiment. Thank you for your services, and friendliness. Today, they arrived at their appointment time and they were told "they would have to come inside to see what's left, and shop for ourselves." I decided that it was high past time that I should write about this Vons grocery store. Been here many times but I decided yesterday was special. My husband and I decided to buy a prime ribeye roast. We have been Vons customers for years and even though I had a Vons card and "all just for U", I hadn't used their online app. (Keep scissors handy for coupons) A very nice young lady by the name of Corrina helped me learn how to use the app. I was clueless and after she showed me I was off and running. Ole' skool folks cut out and save. I inadvertently left my paper at home so I downloaded the app. Corrina was very patient, friendly and helpful. Sometimes it's hard to get good help in a grocery store. The workers are doing a million other things and customer service is not always at the top of the list. The store is generally always clean, deli, bakery and veggie section is up to par. So If you are a manager here at this Vons keep up the good work, hire more people like Corrina and give her a raise. :-). ( no I don't know her she just helped me when I really needed it) read more

Dear Felecita, My friend and I was in your lane around 9pm on 05/09/13. Each of us have 3 case of water since it was on sale that week. I said 'Hi' and gave you a smile yet you ignored me. Fine. I understand. Long day at work, probably dealt with a few rude customers here and there, no problem. You ring me up, I pay the bill, and said, "Thank you Felecita" and still no courtesy from you. Fine. Maybe its that time of the month. I'll let it go. Now, here is were the complaint kicks in. While you gave my friend the total, he was short $2 so I offer to pay the remainder balance and you said, "No, it has to come from him." Confuse yet instead of making a big fuss I handed him $2 and yet you snap again, "You can't do that, these are sales item and limit 3 per household." Felecita, what make you think we live in the same house? Did you check our ID? Or should we bring our ultility bills and bank statement in whenever we shop at Vons? I understand you might be a foul mood that night but courtesy goes a long way. Good Customer Service will bring in more buyers/consumers, and of course good review. This Vons sucks. I love Vons, I really love Vons and this place just does not do it justice. There is never enough staff. EVER. I always have to wait in line, loooong lines. The other day I came for 5 dollar Fridays and guess what?! No one was working the deli. They called over the intercoms for 20 minutes. The girl was out at lunch and no one was there to man the deli. Shouldn't the manager know how to do it?? Most Vons that I have been to have a open butcher block but not this one. I mean even the one on Lake Elsinore has one!!! As he is ringing me up he says to the cashier in the next lane over "Apparently my sign isn't big enough for customers to know they need to wait before getting called to the register." Although he was not talking about me it was rude, unprofessional, and unnecessary. Wait until you're not around customers to talk smack. Common sense. I would have given them 5 stars only to see they were late!!! Like this was my first delivery. I had work and places to go. I was pleased to see they came to my house being that I live on the second floor. I was also happy that the food was nice and cold! And also I wasn't given my first FREE delivery like as been told to me. And advertised. I payed $5 for them to deliver which was still better them my self doing it. I had a huge party I was cooking for and expected to start the food earlier like I was told from the dot com people they were supposed to be there at 8am. Not 9:05, my time is short go prep, and do so much more errands. The one thing I will say as well is that I spent 15 min in the phone trying to contact someone about how late these people were going to be. The guy I spoke to couldn't even contact them! So I hope you guys fix the loop. I still was very happy with my delivery. I'll probably use it again! Thanks so much you guys. It meant so much for me, not to leave for 3 hours and shop.
