We came in yesterday to eat on their patio and it was a wonderfully quick experience. We were seated immediately around 230PM. The menu is robust. My wife ordered chicken quesadillas and I ordered a chili relleno and burrito. The food came out quick. The house chips were also out quick. The food was tasty and I think well priced. The bathroom was clean as well. Outside was the perfect place to sit. It is covered and decorated in a relaxing manner. I wouldn't hesitate to come back and eat here. read more

My husband and I are traveling from Maine to Florida for the season. I use Yelp whenever we travel and very rarely are we disappointed. Another win stopping at this restaurant and the food was delicious. We were seated at a booth and the surroundings were clean. Chips and salsa were brought to the table almost immediately as we looked over the menu (very tasty). Both of us ordered different chicken dishes (Alchile bowl w/ chicken and quesadilla Mexicana w/chicken). Stopped off for lunch here in our way to Va. I'm impressed with our meal. I had 2 cheese enchiladas with refried beans. My son had the steak bowl. What can I say both plates were wiped clean. Driving thru the highway and getting hungry, we observed the sign for this place. Well, am glad we did. The place itself isn't fancy, but it does have outdoor seating, and the restaurant is clean and pintoresque. The food was excellent, and the tortillas were hot and fresh with a very tasty sauce. I ordered the shrimp al diablo, and my wife, the house Alchile burrito wit a flan and churro for desert, everything was excellent, our waiter was friendly and on top of the service for us, if there's one thing that I thought they could do better, is to give more rice with the order. read more

Beware...Husband ordered a bud. Waitress brings him a Bud Light. He realizes after a couple drinks. Husband tells another employee he received the wrong beer and the man apologized and got him the Bud. They charge us for both beers. The man is a supervisor and claims bc the wrong beer remained on our table, he can't take it off the bill and he can't resell it bc hubby drank from it. The second the waitress opened the wrong beer, it was eligible for resale! Unfortunately, for the waitress mistake, we're weren't paying for it so she didn't get a tip. We used to own a restaurant and that is not how you treat customers. Lesson learned..never let them leave their errors on your table and make sure you're NOT getting charged for it either. The food was good but they forgot to add the cheese to my salad and he had to get that for me as well. Do better and you will have great success. ​ read more

Review is for takeout :) Stopped here off the highway to grab something quick to eat in the car. Goodness knows why but I chose some pretty plain nachos. They were great! I got the chicken ones, but it was shredded chicken and a little dry. They didn't skimp on anything. I would recommend getting beef if you with nachos. It was super fast service, and everyone was really friendly. The inside of the restaurant was really cute when we picked up our food. I would eat in there if you're looking for a longer stop. read more

We have been here twice in the last couple weeks. The first visit, I got the vegetarian bowl with California veggies. It was really good, needs some jalapeño or chilis to add some heat, next time I'll add them, though $2 seems steep for adding them. Hubs got the 5 enchilada plate. He said it was good. The salsa is pretty good, again, could use some heat. Second visit, I got the lunch #4, changed the burrito to black bean. I didn't realize the chili relleno had beef in it, but it was excellent. The rice is a bit bland. Hubs got the same as before. The service is great. Both times, we had sweet servers & they stayed on top of everything. I like spice in my food & took off the one star for the lack of spice. We will return though, maybe I'll smuggle in some jalapeños lol read more

The food was good and quick. Not that you can't get margaritas on Sunday which made our Mexican food experience a little less.

So fortunate to find this restaurant open not only on Sunday, but on Mother's Day in small town Ridgeland, SC. Service was quick and all food fresh. We had Chips and salsa and fresh guacamole. My brother-in-law especially liked the guacamole. A few chips here and there weren't the freshest, but at least they were not bagged chips. The queso was a little thin as plain but they had several queso options with chorizo and peppers and such. I ordered chimichangas and my hubby had the variety enchilada plate (one cheese/ one beef/one chicken and one steak? Or pulled beef). i went there the other night for a pickup i ordered two Texas rice with queso and chips they didn't even put the peppers in the rice it was alot of meat and little rice and one piece of shrimp it's like they rushed our food and threw whatever was left of it then the queso was watery not thick at all I don't know if that's just how they make their Texas rice but when I go to other Mexican restaurants they always make it with love and put everything on it the meat was chewy and dry we didn't even finish the meals 40$ for that never again but besides that the customer service was great atmosphere was great too it was just the food read more

Driving up I-95. Stopped for late afternoon lunch and eschewed the fast food for this grill that is right off 95. Really good carnitas. It was roasted to a crisp on the ends and moist and juicy through out with a light flavorful taste of seasoning. read more

Not bad! The carne asada was lacking in flavor, but the al pastor was delicious. I love the sides they serve the tacos with-- grilled onions, radishes, cucumbers, and lime. I also appreciate the purple corn tortillas. The complimentary chips and salsa are always welcome. Oh my!! I'm a local and haven't visited for a while. My mother-in-law is in town so we wanted to go celebrate. Everything was above average. The service was excellent and prompt. The seating clean and nice. And the food! Again, oh my! Nachos with pork- fresh and hot, veggie quesadillas loaded, taco salad so large she couldn't finish it. Margaritas crisp and refreshing!
