I had trouble at first setting up my file and I believe it was Aram who spent a good half hour of his own time explaining to me how to properly set up my file and fix it. So let me tell you, I had to make a digital illustration on laminated card stock for the Children's Hospital in Los Angeles. The assignment was due Monday and I was supposed to submit my file 4 days before due date. I submitted it last minute showed up AND IT WAS DONE! They even made another copy for myself! My goal was to find a company that could help me with a die cut and colored printing for my customized product packaging box. I looked every where within Glendale/Burbank/Pasadena and only got poor service with quotes of, " give us until next week we'll get back to you and just send us your project specifics via email, we'll call/email you if we have any questions" Last week I got extremely lucky when I walked into Alco Printing. Not only did Aram quote me within 10 mins after explaining to him what I wanted but he also beat out every one else's prices for the actual Die Cut set up and plate charge for the design by charging me right around half for the die cut compared to 3 other competitors quotes and I got for the plate set up for literally a fraction of what I was quoted at these other places. Aram really developed rapport with me and I took note of that and I really appreciated it because I saw 100% effort and relationship building for the long term. He also took the time to show me around his facility. Trust me they have it all at their place. While he was pricing me out I was impressed on how he interacted with his return customers and it reminded me of how I run my business as well. Total professional, friendly, and he simply gets the job done because this is what he has done for 40 years and he's passionate about it. You'll know what I mean once you walk in there and see his work that he has posted all over the place, these are jobs that need time and skill but don't have large profit margins in them, but he does these custom projects anyways. Went to a couple of printing places and by far this is the best service! I walked in and this really awesome lady named Helen, very warm, right away greeted me, offered me a seat. She grabbed a notebook and asked me for all kinds of information about measurements, even had a little ruler :) She's awesome! Right away I knew this was the right place, I love great service. I had to move my car that I had left in the red and she was really awesome about telling me to park in their parking. I came back and she was talking to the man who does the printing, telling him all the details, he was asking me about it, I wanted heat resistant stickers and he said he was willing to order it :D I literally called over 8 stores looking for them and nobody else offered to do that!
