Radisson blu is a modest Art Deco inspired hotel just off Wenceslas square. We stayed for two nights during the busy Christmas holiday season in a standard " executive" room that was quite small and unfortunately had poor noise insulation from the sounds of the busy city. (Room 321) Pros: -super friendly and helpful staff-EASILY 5 STAR STAFF -concierge Barbara even arranged a taxi to meet us at the station for the short ride over (less than 8€) but so comforting when in a new city for the first time-this was all in a series of emails while we were in-route in the train; guest relations manager Zbysek helped us untangle a problem with our train reservation and guided us to the best place to convert czk to € just down the street and the front desk check-in woman and even bellman were all so friendly and helpful with great English too. -furnishings and fixtures are reasonably up to date -nice breakfast buffet (included in our room) along with VERY attentive and plentiful servers. Also nice options to order off the menu but easily something for everyone - no smoking -reasonably fast internet in room and lobby -nice friendly bar in lobby with reasonable prices and friendly service Weaknesses -not very quiet-could hear plenty of voices and traffic outside on the street in our third floor room and even neighboring room plugging things into sockets and voices (very weak sound insulation) -our room was on the small side with far too much unneeded furniture making it feel even more crowded -quite small bathroom Bottom line -this one was hard for me because the staff and service are outstanding! Unfortunately for me, because our room had such poor sound insulation (meaning none), quality of sleep suffered. I can deal with the small room, just not the noise. I'm sure they would have been happy to move us if I would have brought this to their attention but once you are in a room it's a hassle to move especially for only a two-night stay and the sound issue wasn't really apparent until the evening. Frankly at this level of hotel it's a bit of a surprise to be awoken at 1:15 am each night (bar time perhaps?) with loud boisterous voices from the street below-really disrupted my sleep. Not a good fit for me, wouldn't return without a room on the top floor away from the busy street.

Definitely a first class hotel. Google also shows high star rating and excellent reviews. If you have a choice be sure to select this one for a great location in the city of Prague. Don't use the Mini bar in your Room there is a small Mini market right across the street from the front door where you get all the beverages and snacks you want for a lot less cost.

This hotel is top notch, we really loved it! Staff were attentive, polite and helpful, willing to please their guests. Every day the cleaning lady knocked on our door and asked if everything was in order and if our bed was ok, then she gave us some chocolate. Nice touch. On my birthday someone had put a cake in our room, a really delightful cake that was beautiful. We were stunned, that was so extremly appreciated! Our room (executive suite) was big and comfortable, absolutely nothing to complain about. We had living room and bedroom and two bathrooms. Loved it! The bed was really comfortable too. Free minibar with nice champagne, wine and other mini bottles was great! We also hade access to executive lounge that offered a variety of coctails, champagne and wine, snacks and light food. We took the elevator up for cappuccino and sparkling wine every day, and to eat the delicious hors d'oeuvres. Breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we have ever eaten - you could even have sprakling wine. Very large breakfast with all you can imagine. We also thought the hotels location was good, near local attractions and fine restaurants. Sadly Blu Alcron doesn't have a spa, they should get one. If you go here, upgrade to executive or club room and don't worry about a thing. It's so worth it.

This hotel hits all the high notes. I'd definitely go as far as saying that this is one of the absolute top hotels in Prague. We stayed in the Castle View Suite in the hotel which from my understanding is the "best suite" in the joint. My girlfriend and I stayed at the hotel during Valentine's last year and I had in advance arranged some things for my girlfriend with the Concierge and found the service absolutely above and beyond anything I expected. All of the staff members I came across were very attentive, kind and thorough and made you feel welcome, whether it was in the hotel bar, or in the lobby. The hotel bar itself is absolutely awesome. The bartenders that work there are true mixologists so I definitely recommend checking out the bar. Great drinks at the right price and you get a free show when they are mixing your drink with great finesse. They were time after time able to cook up drinks after your flavor profile description - and always done with a smile. We had food in the hotel bar a few times - and it was always filling and tasty. Mostly comfort food - but I love that, so I can't complain about that ;-) We were set to dine at the Michelin-rated restaurant in the hotel, Alcron, but as my girlfriend fell sick, we had to cancel our reservation. We will definitely come back to try it though, as we have heard absolutely awesome things.

Great location in new town close to Wenceslas square about 5m walk. Close to museum metro station, musuem and Vaclave Namesti tram stop easy to bet to old town. Lots of new restaurants nearby. Also an Indian place although didn't try it. Lobby and rooms are as expected 4-5 star. The staff is really friendly, always greeting, helping and guiding. We booked the basic room so didn't get a view. They didn't change the room for us but, the guest relations manager gave us free wine and fruits in our room as a gesture. Although we booked via Priceline, they gave us free breakfast. Only complaint is the AC was a little warmer side during the night, but no big deal. Room had amenities like lockers and a nice bathroom and wardrobe, robes and slippers. No coffee maker or iron. Hotel was nice enough to provide iron and shaving accessories when u forgot. Breakfast has a fresh omelet station, fresh orange juice all kids of coffees, teas and a good selection for fruits, bread, yogurts and cereal. Got a little repetitive over three days but still overall a great experience.

This may be teh best hotel in Prague, but at the very least it is the best hotel in the Radisson Blu chain, of the half dozen or so that i've visited. The rooms here are decorated in a funky art deco style which I really loved. The staff here are friendly, speak excellent English, and the management seems to "get it." Sure they charge about $2.50 for a Nespresso packet but beyond that I never got the feeling of being nickel and dimed. They offered a very affordably flat rate airport taxi option, they have restaurants that are highly rated, and by western standards offer incredible value. Everywhere I went in this hotel and each interaction I had over my 2 nights and 3 days had me thinking that this is one of my favorite hotels. They have the best restaurant in town, Alcron Restaurant (which I'll be reviewing shortly...with 5 stars and an in depth review of each course), a great cocktail bar, Be Bop which provides amazing cocktails, like Be an Alchemist which has the greatest presentation of any drink you've ever ordered. Even the location is nice just off of Wenceclas Square..surrounded by tourist traps of Old Town just a short walk away, and normal Prague also a few minutes away. All around the Radisson Blu Alcron Hotel hits it out of the park and I can't wait to return, hopefully for more than two days next time.

The hotel is conveniently located near Prague's city center, making it easy to walk to many of the city's major attractions, including the Jewish Quarter, Old Town Square, the Astronomical Clock, and numerous shops and restaurants. One of the highlights of the hotel is the Executive Lounge, which is open daily from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Throughout the day, guests have access to water, soft drinks, coffee, and snacks, with additional food offerings during designated hours. The evening happy hour was excellent, featuring beer, wine, and other alcoholic beverages in a comfortable and relaxing setting. The fitness facilities were more than adequate for vacation needs. The gym includes cardio equipment, rowing machines, treadmills, a Pilates area, and free weights. The heated indoor pool and sauna were fantastic and provided a perfect way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was truly exceptional and one of the best Hilton breakfast experiences I have had. The buffet included approximately five different stations, including a made-to-order omelet station, hot breakfast selections, cold cuts and cheeses, fresh breads and pastries, fruits, and a pancake station. My son and I looked forward to breakfast every morning and thoroughly enjoyed it. Most importantly, the staff were consistently friendly, professional, and eager to help. I have absolutely no complaints about the service we received. I would especially like to recognize Hannah at the front desk. She went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Hannah helped coordinate a birthday cake for my son's birthday during our stay. Even more impressively, although we were departing Prague before my wife's birthday celebration could take place, Hannah somehow coordinated with the Hilton in Vienna so that when we arrived there, a surprise birthday cake was waiting for my wife. She absolutely loved the gesture, and it made our trip even more special. Thank you, Hannah, for your kindness, attention to detail, and exceptional service. You truly made our stay memorable and gave us every reason to return. I highly recommend the Hilton Prague and look forward to staying there again in the future.

Our room was spacious; the beds and pillows very comfortable, and the bathroom was well stocked. Charging our devices was no problem but we were ready though we brought an adapter. Free breakfast had plenty of options and everything tasted fresh. We enjoyed it for sure. It is a good place to stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Prague.

The staff at breakfast were fantastic and took great care of us. We enjoyed the buffet most days but the menu items looked delicious. We enjoyed our free beer sample and a cocktail at the bar in the Refectory. Our only complaint would be that the room was warm for our taste and we couldn't quite figure out how to get the A/C on (or if it was an option). The bathroom was especially warm, we called it "the spa" We slept with the windows open and all was well. If you're looking for a luxury stay, you can't do much better.

COST: Very reasonable for the quality of the room & service. I'm not entirely sure if the layout is the same for all rooms, but ours included a king size bed, a safe, a spacious bathtub, a fantastic rain shower head, bathrobes, and comfortable slippers. Everything had a modern feel, since the hotel was built fairly recently (2016). (Note that the bathroom is all tinted glass, so you can see through all of it, including the toilet door. Fine for couples, but perhaps not for friends, haha.) LOCATION: Easy walking distance to Old Town Square & pretty much any mini-market store or restaurant you may need, while still remaining quiet at night. If you're going further out, the hotel is on a one-way street with just enough room for a cab or Uber to pull over and pick you up. (We never had an issue with finding an Uber driver -- usually maximum 5 minute wait.) CLEANING SERVICE: Wonderful -- I'm not sure if it's because we left a tip every time (around $4 USD) or if it's their standard level of service, but the cleaner definitely went above & beyond, including organizing our toiletries. CONCIERGE SERVICE: Probably the best concierge service I've ever experienced in my life -- huge kudos to Peter (not sure of the spelling?) and the other blonde guy with a mustache (sorry, didn't catch his name!). Despite our endless tourist questions, they never showed anything less than complete professionalism & friendly advice. Directions? Done. Recommendations for local restaurants that aren't tourist traps? Done. Helping us book train tickets because we weren't sure which websites were legit? Done. Truly 5-star service! The room was very nice, but I would recommend Boho to anyone just for the service -- it makes such a difference, especially to first-time travelers to Prague. CHECK-OUT TIME: As long as you call early in the morning and your late-check-out request doesn't interfere with the next guest coming in, they are flexible on this front. QUICK NOTE REGARDING SPA: We booked through Orbitz, and at the bottom of our reservation, it claims we get a free VIP spa treatment. But the concierge said unfortunately this is an error (apparently they've been trying to correct Orbitz and Expedia for 2 years). Spa areas like the sauna is free, but massage costs extra. So just an FYI there. To management: keep up the great work, recognize your amazing employees, and give them a raise! We would absolutely stay here again.
