Apparently closing times are a mere suggestion to store manager/clerks, as I arrived 6-minutes before closing time only to find all entrance doors were locked. I walked in through the exit as someone was leaving to explain that I only needed 1 item. The clerk said, "We're Closed!" and nothing more. There were several other customers who were running in for last minute items. For hourly employees, I don't understand why you wouldn't want to earn more money. And for the owner of the Apex, NC location...you're losing money when your store manager and employees chose to close your store early. read more

This place an absolute cluster fuck. Empty shelves, freezer and fridge constantly going down. Employees who are miserable and not helpful. Reminds me of COVID days. Trash! Don't spend your money here. You're not saving much anyway. read more

The price is right!!!! While this grocery store may have limited number of brands offered, the prices can't be beat. For example they may carry only one type of black bean; it only cost 55 cents! Fresh produce is Aldis greatest strength. A wide variety of high quality produce at a fraction of the cost. One pomegranate cost $.99 at Whole Foods $2.99! Plenty of cheeses to choose from along with lunch and deli meats and fresh chicken pork beef and frozen seafood. Bring a quarter for the cart, which you will get back when you return it. Don't be afraid of the cheap winking owl wines; they compare to more expensive wines at just a fraction of the cost. Many imported foods are also available from cheeses to chocolates. In addition to food they also carry paper goods soaps detergent's pet foods and housewares. You will find seasonal items as well. read more

Really good store here. Right off the Hwy. Great choices here. Store was really clean. People helped out a lot here. I was at the Walgreens next door and walked over here. Ran into a few neighbors. They said they love this store. Found some great fruits here on this trip. read more

Our family has been an Aldi family for many years now, first in Durham and most recently Apex on W Wms St along with Aldi in Cary near the Trader Joe's. We like the everyday low prices on all of the staples we get. As a rule our standard fare is always in stock. Store personnel are helpful and cashiers although friendly move with speed. We used to take time to bag our groceries by bringing our bags. We recycle so love that idea! However once my husband & I began shopping together, he implemented load from cart to car. We back the car up close to house entry and unload once home. We really like the special seasonal promotions along with items we were not previously enjoying. We particularly like Okotober Fest, when muesli and Doppelkeks/chocolate filling are on offer. We rarely shop standard grocery stores now, and the fact is, I look at Aldi as my standard for quality, prices and unique seasonal offerings. read more

I have never shopped at Aldi's before however I thought I'd give it a try. The produce wasn't the freshest but great prices and I did find a few great deals. If you choose to shop here be prepared to have a quarter for your cart, bring your own bags or pack in a box ( if they have any ) buying bags is an option. Also be prepared to be treated horrible at the cash register. My first grocery shopping experience in the Apex NC location ended poorly when the lady at the register never said one word to me not even my total , only when she raised her voice to say "swipe your card" and when she yelled at me for taking the grocery cart, since I've never shopped there before I didn't know to leave my cart. This was all after she literally threw all my groceries into the cart. Pretty sure I won't return. read more

This location remains a welcome addition. Here are some pros and cons: Pros: a) Great selection given the store footprint size. b) Many very good in-house branded products. c) Excellent pricing. d) They have beer and wine offerings. e) Good variety of nuts (they often have unsalted, smoked, and salted). f) Plenty of parking. Cons: a) Do you need a grocery cart when you shop? Don't forget a quarter. b) Some areas are on the narrow side. c) Did you forget to bring bags? You'll need to think of it like Costco or BJ's, and use their boxes. It's a great concept, however if you don't know it going in, it may be a rude awakening. read more

This store is consistently well run and clean. Staff works hard to make sure shelves are stocked during the busiest time and are always pleasant to deal with. If you point out something that needs addressing it is taken care of right away. Aldi is my number one go-to grocery store - I don't care about brand names and the Aldi brand of everything I've tried has been good. If not, you can return it for refund and purchase of a replacement. read more

Reminds me pretty much of Lidl. Well they are both German. You have to put in a quarter to get a cart. Reminds me of my childhood days when we would walk around the parking lot asking to get someone's cart so we could keep the quarter and buy candy for it. Good times. The produce is cheap, to give an example a bag of mandarins was less than half price compared to Wal-Mart. It's quite a small store, but the good thing is that you can find stuff that others don't have like some German-ish items. Like a Donauwelle cake (cherries and chocolate). You have to pay for bags, just like in Europe. The temperature was was like a walk in freezer had been dropped between the peak tops of the German alps. Walked out with third degree freezer burn and had to defrost myself in the car. read more

I was so excited when you opened in Apex NC. Unfortunately, this is the second time I have had a bad experience at this store. I am not sure if you are just understaffed but your employee are not nice. I am not saying I will never shop at Aldi but I will try to avoid this store. read more

Was there today an witness a very appalling site by the workers, specifically the cashier and what appeared to be the manager. To make a long story short the customer who appeared to be assisting the cashier was admonished and spoken to in a very condescending arrogant manner. Then the cashier started to call the customer names and yell at her. Then she yelled again at her and kept telling at her to remove her card from the machine, the customer never put her card in the machine as she could have seen if she just looked. Then she kept telling at the customer who just stood there baffled and took the insults. Then the cash stood up and reached around to pull out the lady's card but it was never in the machine but her the lady's hand but the cashier continued to yell at the women and call her names. Additionally she cancelled the lady's order and called what appeared to be the manager who then rang the women up again, but the manager was also rude to the women. After she paid for her groceries she went to the original cashier told her she was extremely rude and should watch the video tape of the situation and apologize to her. The lady then was leaving the store and both the original cashier and manager threatened the lady. The saddest thing about this is the lady appeared not only to be in the right but she also was volunteering for an organization that assist the handicapped and elderly with their grocery shopping. How pathetic these workers were they should be ashamed of themselves. I myself after witnessing this abuse will no longer shop there, it totally upset me so and ruined my day. Shame on Aldi's for hiring such classless people. read more

I would like to say that I have always had a pleasant experience when shopping in your store. I expect that with each visit, but today I did not have such a nice experience when checking out with Darly. I understand customer service and working with the public can be a trying job. But the key that needs to emphasized here is "It's not WHAT you say, but HOW you say it." I got in line to check out. I was putting the items that I wanted to purchase on the belt. I decided against the potato chips and put them to the side. On the shelf to the right of the checkout line. Darly said, "Don't put those there, if you don't want them, give them to me." I did not verbally respond. I just looked her, shocked at the tone of her voice. I placed the bag of chips on the conveyor belt instead of handing them to her because she was still checking out the customer that was ahead of me. While I continued to empty my cart my hands were full and I was trying to also move the buggy. I had not placed the onion powder that I wanted to purchase on the belt and she still had a few items to ring up. (All the while, moving to make room for the next customer). Again, Darly says, "Are you going to buy the item in your hand?" My response, Yes, and I handed her the item. This is the 2nd time she has addressed me in a tone that is less than acceptable from a customer services representative. I do not mind being asked to do something to assist with maintaining the appearance of the store, or if there is an that was mistakenly left in the buggy. I hate to say it, but if she is a representation of the type of individuals that you like to represent your brand I would prefer to shop at another establishment in order to avoid another check out experience such as the one I experienced today. I did not address Darly directly, but I am sure she was aware of the disdain on my face. I hope that this will be a lesson learned, when working with people always speak to them as you would want to be spoken to, a little Respect goes a long way. Store number 153 read more

Prices are good on produce and many items. Nothing fancy. Very basic. It's still a relatively new store. I hope they add more items. The only thing I didn't like about was cashiers throwing items into the cart as they rang up. Throwing peaches down, then canned goods on top of them... not a good way to handle customers items. read more

It has been open for about two months now. My family likes shopping here for produce and some staples. I hope it stays this clean. Aldi's can get pretty gross quick. read more
