As far as Aldi's goes this particular store is always nice and clean and checkout is amazingly fast and friendly. Of course it is a great value as all the Aldi's stores are.

Great prices on fruits and veggies. Easy to get in, grab what you need and head out. Don't forget to bring change for your trolley and bags for your stash. Currently have items for entertaining such as tiered serving dishes. If you are a baker they have splat type mats for $4.95 which is a bargain.

Try this Aldis in Avon rather than the Walmart across the street

Love a good bargain? My mom LOVES this Aldis. Every time I'm home I seem to come. My mom swears that everything you get at Aldis is cheaper than larger grocery stores. IF the grocery store doesn't have that item on sale or clearance. My mom buys the bulk of her produce at Aldis. (She despises Kroger produce). They're cheeses and luncheon meats are usually the best price. Dips are ALWAYS a $1.29 (sour cream, french onion, etc.) Cheap wine, too! No promises that it tastes good. $2-3 a bottle for the cheap stuff. Some people LOVE the liquor, wine, and beer they get at Aldis. They might share my family's working class roots and have the tastebuds for cheap stuff. (My family will drink anything.) Some shoppers love the German beer they can buy at Aldis. It's a German company, so lots of good stuff from overseas. ATTENTION: Bring your own bags and a quarter for the grocery cart, though. The good bargains have some tradeoffs when it comes to convenience.

It's been about a year or so since Borage first opened and I finally got around to trying it out…read more First off, I love the vibes in here. It's giving cute, cozy, sunny brunch vibes. My boyfriend and I came on Mother's day (unintentionally) and we waited about 10-15 minutes to sit at the bar. Getting our orders taken & our food served definitely took a bit of time, but we enjoyed seeing all the cooks in action and getting to smell all the amazing smells!! I got Grandpa's one pan skillet and my boyfriend got the sausage breakfast sandwich on croissant bread. All I gotta say is those chefs definitely knew what they were doing! The flavors were unique and intentional and I enjoyed every bite. The home fries (potatoes) were also so yummy and everything was cooked really well. There's nothing basic about borage and I love that! This place is a gem. They also have a cafe/market area where you can order drinks and pastries. I wish we waited until we got seated to order drinks because the menu was much more extensive than what I saw in the cafe and I would have ordered a different drink had I seen all the other options. The staff here are also very welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed our little brunch and will be back with family next time!

Borage Market is such a cute space and a great concept, so I really wanted to like it more than I…read moredid. The market has a fun selection of local goods, and the whole space feels thoughtfully designed. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The breakfast sandwich came from a warmer, and the croissant had become soft and mushy. The egg was a firm, precooked square, and the bacon was limp. The pepper jam was delicious and easily the best part, but it could not make up for the lack of texture in the rest of the sandwich. The chocolate croissant looked beautiful and had plenty of visible layers, but it was surprisingly dense and breadlike rather than light and flaky. Our cold brew and matcha were both good, although the matcha did not have much flavor despite being freshly whisked. Service was also slow and strangely disengaged, which made ordering feel more awkward than it needed to be. There is a lot to like about the atmosphere and idea behind Borage, but the execution during this visit did not live up to the presentation. Definitely going to have to try a sit down brunch next time.

Aldi is new to this location off of Crawfordsville Road in Speedway. It has been open for some…read moretime, and most Aldi fans have found it by now. It is visible from Crawfordsville Road and next door to Crew Car Wash. There are two entrances, one if you're going West on Crawfordsville Road is Founders Square Drive and the other turn west at the first light at High School Road and 25th Street by Valvoline Oil Change. Then just follow the street till you see the store. Aldi's street address is Founders Square Drive. You'll find a large parking lot with handicapped parking spaces close to entrance. I like Aldis for their prices, which are cheaper than Kroger on a fairly consistent basis on fresh produce, snack foods, bread, and many frozen items. The fruit is fresh and cheaper than most stores. My favorite that keeps me coming back is the carmels they carry in the candy section. The products aren't brand names, so you have to just give things a chance. I'm not a big fan of the meats, but I do find myself purchasing chicken, milk, and several of the frozen meals and veggies, fruits, and vegetables. The frozen NY Style Cheesecake is one of my son's favorite. I enjoy browsing the home goods aisle and household essentials (Tide Pods and Downy Fabric Softener), kitchen items, home decor (under bed storage bins), and outdoor decor items. You never know what you'll find. The wine reviews are excellent on several brands and affordable. I haven't personally tried the wines yet, but several folks gave me their personal approval of wines they had purchased. Stop in and check them out.

It is my go to and stock up store. I am however, not a fan of the self-checkout trend. Also depending from what side of town you are trying to get here, the access can be a bit difficult and convaluted.
