They also have a variety of teas and my husband loves the Mangonada one. I wouldn't say that I'm the target audience for Kung Fu Tea, but my girls were desperate to try "Boba." Since we were out indulging in a day at the nail salon and I treat myself to a special drink, I stopped to indulge them in a Boba style drink. The options are plentiful. We were a little overwhelmed by all the options and the woman behind the counter seemed to understand. She explained it really well, asked the girls a gew questions about their likes and then made a few suggestions. After making their choices and placing their order, it took about 10 minutes for the drinks to be made. The shop is cute, brightly decorated and has some simple little games at the small tables to occupy you as you wait or enjoy your treats. The girls learned that, just like me, the texture of Boba isn't for them. However they did enjoy the drink otherwise. All in all, it was a pleasant, new experience. read more

My daughter and I stopped in to grab a drink while shopping in the area. I got a latte and she got the Thai Milk tea. The shop is bright and welcoming and not loud. Loads of seating if you choose to enjoy your drink there. The milk tea was sweet, a bit sweet for me but thr latte had just the right amount of sweetness. My family has been coming to this specific Kung Fu Tea, every Saturday, for about six months! Needless to say, we are obsessed. Even when it's busy, it's quick. The ladies that work behind the counter are super sweet and fast paced. Our 8 year old and my go to order: Strawberry Lemonade with grape poppers My husbands go to order: Strawberry Lemonade with strawberry poppers Our 14 year olds go to order: Milk tea with tapioca gummy bubbles Every time we go in, the atmosphere is cute, fun and clean. They have some games to play while you wait. Our order is always ready as we're in the middle of playing Connect Four. It's super chill and relaxed in this place. I don't think that they are too expensive, either. Under $7 for a large, tasty and refreshing drink. The building is kept cool when the temp is hot, outside. It's so nice to go in and be able to cool off. * It says that they have garage parking on their Yelp! Business page. That is false. It is a regular parking lot in a strip of businesses. The parking is great. Plenty of spots and not too far from the business. No outside seating; which isn't a big deal for our family. We get our order and head to a nature park. It's exciting to see so many tea places opening up in Indiana. Kung Fu Tea offers an extensive range of bases, flavors, mixes, and teas. Their selection seems never-ending and even allows you to choose the sweetness level. I would have preferred if they had asked me about my preferred sweetness level, as my tea was incredibly sweet. While my son and I waited for our drinks, we enjoyed playing a game of Guess Who on the table. All the tables were equipped with some kind of game, making the place even more delightful. This is my favorite spot to get milk tea with Boba. This location is always clean and friendly. If you've never tried Boba, it is similar to a gummy that is round and chewy. kung fu tea sits in a shopping plaza next to BWW and across from CfA/kohls. there is shared private parking across the street in a lot. you do have to cross traffic to reach the door. this is a typical tea spot serving a myriad of flavors. i can't say i was personally impressed or that i have any plans on going back. they don't have brown sugar and i found the ordering process overly complicated. this definitely screams chain business. i did enjoy watching my drink be prepared out front in the machines. it was clean and the staff was nice. read more

If you follow my Yelp profile, it will become clear that seeking out bubble tea shops is a real habit of mine. I stopped here with my 13-year-old on the way home from a soccer game. My overall impression of this shop is that they have pretty good drinks, but not the best in the city. Some of the offerings seemed very gimmicky, for example my daughter got a minion themed smoothie that came in a minion cup. I do appreciate all of the customizable options, especially the choice to get less sweetener in your drink. The employee who took my order helped me determine the right level of sweetness since I wanted the lychee tea and the sweetness came from the fruit itself. They had a good assortment of additions including my favorite mango popping Boba. I think one benefit of this shop is they have everything from plain green tea to yogurt smoothies, even people who don't like traditional bubble tea would find something to enjoy here. Kung Fu Tea is such a unique experience right here in Plainfield! I have been a few times, but this was the first time I brought my nephews. I tried to explain to them how to order, but finally I suggested that they ask the staff what they could recommend. They were so patient and broke down the menu to make it easier to understand. They recommended some drinks and the boys loved it! The person who took our order even gave us some stickers! They have boba listed as pudding which threw me off but I just asked if that was the typical boba and they said yes. They have so many options: frozen, yogurt, punch, and more! The was my first time stopping in here to try some boba drinks. Boba drinks are huge out in Las Vegas so to see shops popping up in Indy is exciting to me. I ordered two, one strawberry lemonade and one passion fruit. They were both extremely strong tasting, very concentrated. I had to take it home and put it in another cup & add water to it bc that's how concentrated it was. Maybe I needed to order something else or say something when I ordered it idk. I finally stopped in to check out the Kung fun tea. They have a nice space well decorated. They choices of teas is quite overwhelming. They have tea with milk, regular teas, frozen drinks and even lemon aid. My only disappointment was there is no sugar substitute available to have added or add yourself to the teas. While I technically can live with regular sugar there is a large number of diabetics who would need some kind of alternative and the only one is unsweetened tea. So I got 50% sugar tea with mango bubbles. The mango bubbles themselves had a lot of sweetness so I would probably get the unsweetened tea next time. You can also specify the amount of ice and I should have got more as it melted pretty quickly. The tea was made pretty quickly and they seal it and give you a large straw . If you like teas definitely worth checking out. read more

They go at least once a month to get their tea. Their favorite drinks are passion fruit slush, taro milk green tea, taro slush and passion fruit green tea. I love the Jelly Wow drink. The bubble is chewy and fresh each time we have had them (unlike other places where you can tell they are harder and still undercooked.)
