This is the second time our pickup has been delayed until the next day. Service is unpredictable and incredibly frustrating.

Previous 1 star review should really be disregarded as it's pretty clear on Lasso the Moon's…read morewebsite that appointments need to be scheduled ahead of time. And they deserve no less than 5 stars for the experience, from my first correspondence with Holly to arrange the tour, to arriving. The directions and the signage were momentarily confusing, but the site indicates to drive towards the right behind the barn on the gravel road. Pulling in you can't help but "awww" over the chickens, ducks, dogs and alpacas dotting the property. Once all of the other guests had arrived, the tour began and it was both fun and informational, about the farm, alpacas, and the artwork made from their fibers. Even my little one was less than her squirmy fidgety self and listened. Feeding the alpacas was really the most fun part as we were told that they don't particularly like being petted on their heads (only a minor bummer as we'd gleefully hoped that we'd get a few gentle pats in.) The tour finished up in the upstairs art studio where hand-made gifts were available, or where one could make a donation, as the tour is free. For how much fun it was, I wouldn't have hesitated to have been required to pay for it anyways. It was a very fun and memorable morning meeting some gentle and fluffy alpacas up close, and I would strongly suggest that anybody making a weekend trip to this area to plan ahead to also visit Lasso the Moon.

Cute little shop that offers chocolates, as well as gelato in a small town. The people working…read morethere are very friendly and attentive. We were waited on quickly. Had a sample of the grapefruit gelato which was tasty. Not overly sweet at all. Very refreshing. They have lots of flavors and they are constantly churning. We ordered 5 truffles and a Turvle (think pecan turtle). The not turtle - Turvle - was dark chocolate and was delicious. It was only $3.99 and rather large. The truffles were - blueberry, orange, lemon, key lime, and tiramisu. They were all tasty. One didn't stick out as the winner. They were $2.50 each. Very very pricey. I guess that's normal for a truffle, however the flavor profiles weren't on that price point in my opinion. Some had a hard time guessing the flavor. Is it fun to come in and grab some truffles and see if you can guess the flavor - yes. Is it an investment - also yes. But, it's a fun little thing to do. They do have other non truffle things that I would try before the truffles. They did have apples out but they weren't dipped yet. Would have loved to try that or some strawberries. The chocolate is good, but not spectacular. Love that they have dark and milk. Fun place.

I had some grocery shopping to do and wanted to see if I could get an oil change in the meantime…read more The guy was in the worst mood ever. I was informed that he only had one employee on the clock and it would have to wait until 10. I told him that was fine. I asked if I could go ahead and leave my keys and car and before I could finish my question he flat out yelled and said NO! YOU CAN COME BACK AT 10! I was in a good mood until I interacted with him. At that point I decided I'd do my grocery shopping at Ingles and get my oil changed another day. Sorry if you're having a bad day, we all have them, but I don't take mine out on other people, especially at my work. I won't be stepping foot in that walmart ever again because it made me so uncomfortable being yelled at by a complete stranger for simply asking a question.

I've tolerated shopping at the Blairsville location because of convenience, but as far as customer…read moreservice this is the worst location. Today was especially bad, because the person doing the check out was way out of sorts. There were two people in front of me and she was very slow with scanning each item, then she apparently knew the person she was waiting on , as they had a long conversation and she even took time to look at pictures on this person's phone, this is AFTER the person had paid for their order. She moved on to the next person in line and I noticed that person had to tell the employee that she needed to do push the button on her end so she could complete the payment. During this time, I was trying to get another associate's attention (the ones who walks the floor to make sure everything is moving smoothly) and she was busy have a personal conversation with someone she knew. When I finally got to the point of payment, I was waiting for the prompt on the payment scanner and it wasn't doing anything, so I looked up at her and she was ASLEEP. Eyes Closed. I had to speak to wake her up so she could push the prompt so I could finish paying. There was no one in customer service as I was leaving and because this had taken so long, I had to leave for other errands. So I called the store at least 5 different times; no one picks up, no matter which extension I called nor how many times I let it wring (up to 20 before it says to call back). This is only today's experience. I've had the check out people tell me they were closed after I had put all my groceries on the conveyor belt. I've had an employee tell me that it's store policy to leave all the heavy stuff in the cart (like they do at costco) but there are no signs posted. The stocking staff acts like the consumer is in the way and I even had two different stockers who blocked me from going down the aisle and when I asked if I could get by, I was treated to the ol stink eye. The Walmart in Blue Ridge and Murphy NC don't provide these unique experiences. They seem to care , they smile, they are fast and pleasant. I can only hope my call to Corporate actually makes a difference.
