Melissa in the deli made it very clear she didn't want to be there and gave the lady behind us a look when we told her we had another sub to order she was very hateful during the ordering process and threw our sub on top of the counter when she was done. i don't suggest working in customer service if you're gonna act like that:) read more

We came by to pick up dinners while staying in a cabin close by. We had the buckets of fried chicken and potato salad. They also have hot veggies we tried the Korean green beans which were ok. We also bought fresh veggies and fruit which were about the same price as home. They also had no salt chips and peanut butter for us also. They had a salad bar to make salads but ran out of bag salad on the weekend. The olive bar was also available but we did not try. For a market on vacation it worked well. We had a card in our cabin to use as the discount card and gas. They did let us use the company card a few times when we left it in the cabin. They also sell stamps for the tourist post cards. read more

While this market is amazing, great selections, wide varieties and brands, friendly and wonderful meat department management and management itself. And now you ask, why only two stars, simply answer! We approached the store manager who was very receptive to our concerns regarding the open baskets in the bakery department filled with muffins, bagels and other bakery goods. All out in the open, unprotected from anyone passing, sneezing, coughing and little ones hands reaching in, taking a muffin, running to mom, who immediately said "take it back!" Response from the store manager... "I feel you and agree. All I can do is speak to upper management!" I cannot believe that the health inspectors allow this type of display, however the store manager said they are audited all the time and no negative marks or order to protect the products from contamination. That muffin alone could have been contaminated with bacteria from this child and giving a shopper Norovirus or other illnesses. Unbelievable and now questioning other areas of the store! We will continue to shop here, however will be very cautious as to what we buy that could possibly be contaminated by the general public. Please Ingles fix this immediately! read more

Wow. What an impressive grocery store! Lucky us staying in Blairsville and discovering this gem of a grocer! The store is huge, the aisles wide, the shelves stocked perfectly, the prices great, selections fantastic and staff so friendly! Wow. Got home and discovered that I am misplaced a bag with some ziploc baggies and saran wrap. Maybe we left them on the cart in the parking lot. Ingles has a great selection for most items. Good deli but slow, we call our lunch meat / cheese order in before we leave the house. Prices are higher than Walmart for staples, so we by meats and produce at Ingles most of the time and other groceries at Walmart. read more

I love Ingles. I would give it a 5th Star but that Star goes to the Customer Service Department. I am not exactly sure why they can totally ignore a person standing right in front of them but I have a theory. Because they are elevated similar to that of a Pharmacy they can look busy by gazing down endlessly at something while ignoring the customer 3 feet in front and below them. I'm shocked that the people of this town don't care enough to respect the businesses policy to wear masks. There was a sign when I went telling customers to wear masks. That was where it ended. A good 1/2 of the folks in the store didn't wear masks, telling me that they don't respect the requests of the business, nor do they care about the spread of disease, nor do they care about the safety of their neighbors. Hands down the nicest Ingles I've ever been to! And I'm an Ingles fan in general. Store is super clean. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Great selection. Meats and produce very fresh. Boars head deli meat so that's always awesome!!! I love they have a local section for beer, and a section for local producers, honey, coffee, rubs etc. Great store in Blairsville! read more

This Ingles carries a wide selection of items, and the customer service is also good. There are times in the past when the store hasn't been as clean and the customer service has not been good, though recently, the store has clearly made some positive changes as the store is being kept up better and the customer service has definitely improved. I recommend this Ingles. Their deli is particularly good, great selection, great quality. read more

This is a new Ingles location and it also has a gas station. You can use your Ingles advantage card at the gas station and get cheaper gas. The grocery store is large and it also has a pharmacy. Oh and don't forget there's a Starbucks here too! So all you coffee snobs will be excited about that. Staff have always been helpful and nice when I had questions. Clean store, reminds me of giant eagle in ohio, a little more expensive than the other stores but seems to have good quality meats and produce. Gas station, fuel perks, friendly service. Now to the best part Holy crap there is a starbucks in it!!! Blairsvegas got a starbucks!!!!! So I've gotten some coffee (mmmm) there a few times. The baristas are always nice and friendly. They're quick as well and the drinks they make always are great. I go in at least once a week for a sweet frappicino treat. Don't forget your ingles card either because they count toward your fuelperks! read more

Apparently Ingles is unaware that there are whole wheat hamburger and hot dog buns. Quite frankly they seem to only know about Wonder and Ball Park. I'm constantly disappointed in variety of bread and buns. Produce rots before I get it home and their prices are ridiculous. read more

I was at the meat counter today, and I witnessed the lady who was packaging the meat repeatedly pick up pieces of raw meat (pork I believe) with her bare hands, put it in the meat tray, and wrap it in plastic with her contaminated hands. Ingles was always the only place I would buy meat, but now I am very worried to even touch any of the packages, let alone put them in my basket for fear of getting raw pork germs all over the rest of my groceries. This must be against some kind of health code. read more

My husband and I and have always had great customer service at Blairsville Ingles, but today was an unpleasant experience. The cashier , who's name is Carmelita, was undoubtedly the most rude person that we've had to deal with anywhere . My husband didn't notice the light was off for her line and had unloaded the whole basket of groceries. Carmelita then said to him ,I'm closed! She was so hateful to both of us. He put his credit card in the chip reader and failed to take it out immediately, so she smarted off and asked him if he was asleep. She also pointed out that he should make sure the line was open before he unloads his groceries! This is horrible customer service. We are the customers and should be treated with respect! We were so appreciative that a manager observed her appalling behavior and apologized to us! We'll make sure that we won't go through her line again. All she had to say was I'm sorry, my line is closing and we would have gladly gone to another line. But dont wait until a customer has completely unloaded their cart and then say something!! A wonderful grocery store, pharmacy, produce, bakery and deli. The store is always stocked well and haven't met an employee that never fails to tell me thanks and have a good day. I've never failed to find an item that I required for that day's special dish and seasonings that are hard to find. The check out is super fast as there are many check out lanes open as in some other stores in the area with 2 or 3 check out lanes and long lines. read more

Some of the friendliest employees in the town. The store is always clean, even the bathrooms. The shelves are always stocked and in decent order. With the card/rewards program, prices are great and I get cheaper gas. I much prefer Ingles over the other grocery stores in Blairsville (and I live right beside a competitor). read more

In my most recent review of this awesome store, I forgot to commend Terrance who works in the deli. He want above and beyond in customer service about a month ago when I was standing at the deli counter to order two meal deals to go. I had been waiting there for about 4 minutes, and other staff were busy as other stations, and he noticed me waiting from the back cooking area. He apologized for my having to wait (although to me 4 minutes is not a wait these days when you go to just about any business). He was very polite and friendly in a professional way, made direct eye contact and smiled a lot. He proceeded to put together my dinners to go and did a fabulous job. Turns out that he had never worked the serving station (he cooks), but you sure could not tell that. The only way I knew was that at the end, he asked another deli employee how to print out the price sticker. From a customer service standpoint, he is TOPS, and I told him so. I also called Customer Service to commend him. If everyone who deals with the public had such exemplary and open, honest and friendly customer service skills.....shopping experiences would be so much more pleasant. This young man should have a big bright future with the Ingles Market if that is his goal! read more
