Tampa Bay in the HOUSE! Family run establishment owners relocated years ago from Tampa, Florida. Food was delicious and service was great! The owner welcomes his patrons as they enter the restaurant. While in Blairsville give it a try!

Nani's Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience. The ambiance is inviting, and the menu boasts a diverse array of flavorful Cuban dishes. Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, Nani's is a reliable choice for a satisfying meal. This time I had the Chicky Bowl at lunch. It was very delicious and cooked to perfection.

We can not say enough good things about this place. Clean, warm and welcoming from the cold outside. The food was delicious and the owner was attentive to us a each time he walked by. We had the piggy bowl, chickpea soup and an order of fried tostones with garlic sauce. We loved all of it. All. Of. It!!

Went here for the first time yesterday and the want great, but it was good. I got the ropa vieja I broke that is what it's called. The beef was pretty salty, but the rice and beans were really good and the plantains were amazing! My bf got the schnitzel and he thought it was good, but not the same as other schnitzel he's had before. He got tostones and those were pretty great. His rice and beans were good to.it was just the meats for us that weren't great.

Anniversary Menu until 8:00 pm tonight.

Some of the best Cuban food I have eaten. Empanadas are amazing and the Lemon tres leches was mouth watering good.

Today was an exception. Somehow, no one really knows what happened, two drinks were spilled on my dad from the waitresses tray. He was soaked and had to leave immediately to change. My dad said he doesn't think he bumped the tray. All we know is she was putting something down and the tray tipped. We understand hings like this happen. It was lucky it didn't spill on my 4 year old who was sitting right next to him. I know she was mortified and she made sure to mention multiple times that she has never done this before. She was also very apologetic. It was a lot of liquid and glass was all over the floor. We were never moved even after I suggested we move. She just mopped and swept while we were still sitting there. Honestly, we should have just left. It was such an awkward experience from then on. Someone (maybe the manager?) stopped by to say sorry and gave my dad a couple of napkins, but between all the chaos of the incident it definitely wasn't memorable. At the end she asked about birthday dessert for my 4 year old and so I assumed it was complimentary considering what had just happened. It wasn't. We don't like to make a scene and we didn't want to totally ruin lunch for our kid's sake. We kindly paid our $90 bill and we didn't even stay to get an entree. This isn't a cheap restaurant and we expected more from a situation as this. Again, I understand that stuff like this happens, but I feel like the situation was not handled well. Had we made a scene, I'm sure it would have been handled different, but that's just not who we are. It will probably be a while before we return there.

The location, awesome reviews, and photos made it a no-brainer. My lunch companion and I decided to share the queso fundito and shrimp empanadas and both were great. The queso fundito came with roasted corn and a garlic toast while the shrimp empanadas were plated on top of a bed of salad. The empanadas were a nice size and I would totally order these just for myself for lunch. I added a shrimp tempura taco to round out my meal. It was juicy, a bit spicy because of the jalapeno mayo, and overall a nice way to end my meal. I'll wrap this up by congratulating them on landing a spot on Yelp's Best New Restaurants list for 2025. Only 100 businesses in the ENTIRE country get on the list - so this is huge. Based on my experience, well deserved. Definitely give them a visit soon!

The service is amazing and the staff is very friendly. Gives you a family owned feeling. We started with the Papusa's. So fresh and tasty. The masa was delicious and they were very cheesy. I could've ate this for the entire meal. I had the fried chicken on top of plantains covered in cabbage and tomatoes with salsa and drenched in a fantastic tangy crema. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Jacob had the same as I, but with beef. The ground beef was so tasty. I could eat here every week. I have never had Honduran food before, so I don't know if I can say the following statement. But, I felt like grandma was in the back making a real authentic family meal.

I picked up a burritas hondureñas, which was like a corn tortillas sandwich filled with meat, eggs, beans, cheese, and avocado. It was good but the hot sauce on the table kicked it up a notch. The papusas were everything one could want and more. Cheesy, thick, and topped with a tangy curtido. I left feeling pleasantly plump and happy to see a place like this on my quick trip through Knoxville.

The outdoor seating was really nice on a comfortable summer day. In terms of the food, I was thrilled to find that they had a vegetarian platter that I could order off the brunch menu, so I went with it. It was reasonably good, but not exceptional. It was made up of a number of component parts that didn't always fit together. The cheese arepa was great. The fried egg was as expected. The mixed veggies underneath had the wrong tone for the dish. The shiitake mushrooms did add umami, but that was the wrong flavor profile. Not bad. They just didn't fit the rest of the dish. The fruit also seemed out of place. The house made chorizo was clearly a seitan product, and it was good. It was just a lot of seitan, and that's a product I try to avoid. In terms of the service, everything was exceptional. Our server was very nice and demonstrated exceptional situational awareness. She was present as much as needed, but no more. She was also fast, despite waiting on half the restaurant. I was able to get in and out quickly to get back to my day. All told, a completely reasonable destination. I suspect their meat based dishes might fit together a little better, but the vegetarian options could be improved.

The four people in our party all ordered something different and tried to decide who ordered the best meal. The Indio plate had so many different flavor profiles, but came together for a savory meal. We all left stuffed with food still on our plates. Too many choices to want to split a plate, but portions are bountiful. Great value, diverse menu and friendly staff!
