The high quality and specialty products unfortunately also carry with it the higher price tags. The Fresh Market is among the most expensive of the high end markets. They have an Ultimate Loyalty Experience, but the cashier couldn't tell me the actual benefits. I think it's similar to Reasor's Rewards with weekly specials. They reportedly have the Tuesday specials (to be confirmed): ground chuck and boneless chicken breast for $2.99 per pound. They also have The Little Big Meal that rotates weekly. For those interested in cooking, they have many recipes on their websites which is unique. If you love the neatness and cleanliness of Reasor's then you are going to love The Fresh Market. I cruised through the store and was thoroughly impressed. Shelves and produce were neatly stocked. Deli products and meats looked really fresh. The quality was definitely there as well as the price tags. I am just not sure if I am the target audience of The Fresh Market, definitely gearing more toward affluent people.

That can happen at any grocery store. The lemons were in a yellow bag and not easy to see and they hadn't started smelling yet. They have all sorts of snacks and bread selection for sale and the prices are good! I found some chocolate pies that are almost extinct in this day and age and was able to find some there! Along with chocolate chip muffins and the total for 4 items was $4! I felt like a kid again at those prices and reminded me of my gas station trips as a kid. The staff were nice and the items were not close to expiration either, we went in May and the stuff there expired in September so they're not on sale because they're expiring soon either as my first initial thought. Sometimes I will run in here to do some grocery shopping, and then I always get frustrated because the prices are way higher than at other grocery stores. It does stay very clean. They have a pretty good produce and a solid meat selection. Staff is pretty decent. They participate in the double up program for folks on food stamps, so that is definitely nice for those who can use it, but it does not compensate for the higher prices.

You can find a lot of Latin American brands and items. The way the aisles are organized makes sense as well so it makes it easy for you to find what you're looking for. Among the things I have been able to find here are piñatas, loteria cards, prayer candles, and great cleaning/home products. The most common reason you'll find me here though is for the candy. They have a massive aisle only dedicated to over 300 Mexican candy and it is absolutely glorious! It makes me feel like a little kid again. They also have the Mexican Ruffles chips, the Queso kind. So yummy! Their prices are very affordable and they always have specials going on. The Spanish radio stations advertises their deals regularly. Wednesdays and Fridays are their main sale days. The staff is consistently friendly and courteous.

While trying to defend the cashier's mistake, she also accused me of lying say this with an attitude while fixing the cash register. She did this in front of several people around. What kind of manager doesn't that? Makes a mistake worse instead of fixing the situation. It was instead the cashier who knew she had made a mistake, apologized and we finished our transaction.
