Absolutely horrific experience. I hated it before, I really hate it now. I had my bag ready and the cashier couldn't take her eye off her phone. Then she, in rage, threw all my items in the cart. She even broke the chicken salad I picked up. Without offering to replace it. Man oh man. This store sucked when it opened and it's sucks worse now. Horrible. Shame on you. I love going to this Aldi. The staff and manager are friendly and helpful, and the facility is clean and aesthetically pleasing. Prices for fruit and vegetables are a bargain generally, and even their company specialty brands are of high quality. I highly recommend this store! read more

I stopped in after work one evening. This is a very nice Aldi. They keep the store neat and well stocked. The employees are helpful. I appreciate the quality of the produce and bakery items. I discovered Aldi peanut butter. It's called Peanut Delight, sold in cream only in 2 sizes. I love this peanut butter because it is on the sweet side with very limited ingredients that my fur-baby is able to consume and not to mention reasonably priced. This location has self checkout and sells brown bags and plastic bags. It's conveniently close to work and really helps out in a pinch. read more

The Aldi on Olive Boulevard in Creve Coeur is very new. It is in the old Borders Books space. I like that the carts are kept inside the store. I assume this will keep the carts from getting rusty. I went yesterday, because the mail circular had ridiculous prices on things I needed/wanted. Yet I got more than my shopping list -- blaming it on the prices. Baby Asparagus: $1.79/lb. Red Grapes: $.79/lb. Men's Sleep Pants: $6.99, and they were flannel. (I had just seen them at Kohl's for $11.99, and they were cotton.) And then I strayed: Whole Pineapple: $2.29 (I had just seen it at Dierberg's for $3.99.) Two Crofton cooling racks (18x10): $2.49, marked down from $6.99. 48-oz. Eckrich smoked sausage: $5.98. There is so much in this store than you could ALMOST do all of your grocery shopping here. Since I was last here, there is much more in dairy, cheese, fresh meat and produce. And a lot more offerings in cereals, crackers and nuts. And a lot of non-grocery offerings that are ridiculously priced, and some even marked down from the ridiculous price. read more

Aldi used to be associated with inexpensive food that some people think of as cheap tasteless food. Personally I grew up on Aldi food and couldn't tell you what if anything I missed out on. Either way I think they have much improved the quality of their products by going so far as to carry a good amount of USDA Organic foods. This and their low prices on cheese and milk have brought us in a lot lately. I hope they do the $1 strawberries this summer again cause I need to stock up. I hope even if you have written Aldi off in the past give them a shot and see if you like the changes. This store is pretty well stocked and easily maneuverable, the front entrance is the only hang up. The entrance door is over to the left side and more or less hidden the carts are kind of hard to get while people are walking around you. Even with the issues I have they are more a problem with having three kids and getting them in carts that cost $0.25. read more

I've never been to an Aldi before. This was my first time. I did not have a positive attitude walking in but I was proven wrong. I was out and about shopping on a weeknight with a friend and he made me go in. He loves it. There were some worthwhile items here. They had jars of basil and sundried tomato pesto for $3.99. They had blue cheese stuffed green olives for $3.29. A very nice selection of roasted and salted nuts of various kinds for super great prices. This isn't going to be a regular stop but it was clean and super interesting. I'd definitely go back. read more

I've been here a few times and I have to be honest this is one of the cleanest Aldi's around. Prices are great, selections are fresh and the staff is very friendly. I love the produce section everything is always stocked and placed neatly. Fruit and veggies are cheaper and much more fresh than other stores. Fish selection is pretty good too. They sell everything cheese, milk, chicken, turkey, red meat and even bake it yourself pizzas. I've never purchased canned food from here so I can't talk about that. But the fresh fruit and veggies are pretty good. I also like their selection of healthy nuts. The prices are much cheaper on the nuts compared to other stores. If you forget to bring your own bag there are always boxes around which you can take for free or buy a reusable bag for just .10 Enjoy your trip. read more

Think you've seen one Aldi, you've seen them all? WRONG! This is the mack daddy of all Aldi's. It is in Creve Coeur, afterall, and those people have become accustomed to a certain kind of living, so of course they'd get the best Aldi. I haven't been to an Aldi that I didn't like, but this location is certainly the best. I freaking love Aldi. I only go occasionally, but when I do, I always leave so excited at the savings. You can't get everything there, but you can get much more than you'd expect at prices that will make you feel like kind of a chump for paying what you pay at the other grocery stores. Some of my favorite steals include blue cheese crumbles for like $1.99 and bagged premium lettuce for the same. I love the roasted almonds, salad dressing and all condiments. I've tried boneless chicken breasts and 90% lean hamburger on several occasions and the meat's good quality and about $3.00 less than other stores a pack. Produce is a steal - I love getting berries during summer for like .99 cents. Bring your quarter and your plastic bags and head on over. You'll be pleasantly surprised. read more

I love going to Aldi because of their really good prices. I went there today (Olive boulevard, St Louis, Missouri)- with my kids to get a few groceries. While in the checkout line, my son felt that he could not hold his pee any longer, so I asked the lady (checkout line #5 today, 5/21/2021) to kindly excuse me, as I needed to take him really quickly. When I came back, she had placed all my groceries ON THE FLOOR, so she could attend to other customers. And when I asked her if they'd been on the floor, she answered yes quite rudely. Now I understand that she did need to move on to other customers, but on the floor? And with such an attitude. That's the worst customer service experience that could be had in my opinion. I only wish I had taken her name, so this review will be indeed complete. I spoke with the manager however, and I hope that she is at least reprimanded, because this could definitely be construed as racism, though it may just be her poor attitude to work/ customers. read more

Great prices! Great produce deals! I mean how can you beat $.39 cucumbers?! They also have good prices on bread, from croissants to ciabatta bread, to sourdough slices, they have it! Just remember to bring a quarter for the cart and BYOB (bring your own bags). read more

I was at this Aldi's on Sunday and the produce was a bit picked over by the time I got there at 2pm. However, I can't help but say this grocery chain has the best price point in town. I think Sat ams are the best time to shop there, and not necessarily Sunday late in the day. The team is always friendly and I feel like everyone shopping is in a good mood b/c they know they are getting a steal of a deal in the store! I discovered Aldi at another location several years ago and I am so happy to now have one close by. Prices are up to half what the local grocery stores are charging. I will gladly forego using my credit card, returning my shopping cart, and bagging my own groceries for the amount of money I am saving.
