Every Aldi that I go to is fantastic same as Whole Foods. My go to for granola bars, vegan, "dairy" and my husband loves their pizza and mac-n cheese!!! All of my food pantry purchases are from Jewel so as to seem "high end." The customers here are so very kind and friendly and always have a spare quarter for a shopping cart rentals :)) I just love Aldi!! read more

I love visiting all Aldi. They are very affordable & you will always find unique things there.

I do a lot of "specific" shopping at Aldi, meaning there are items I buy here but go to a large commercial chain for other items. This Aldi is standard fair. Nothing overly good or bad in the store, but I will say their location is a little awkward. They are off a main thoroughfare, but behind other strip malls, so you need to know where the "in" is before you get there. The entrance is on a side street. Staff is nice and helpful but the parking lot is a problem. read more

This Aldi seems a little bit bigger/roomier than the ones I'm used to (I usually frequent the Aldi in DeKalb). Not all Aldi's sell alcohol; this one does. I'm usually here in the evenings, and there usually isn't a long line for checkout, which is important to me. Aldi has cheap, high quality groceries; I buy staples here, such as flour, tortillas, cereal and canned goods, supplemented with things like walnuts and fancy cheese (when they have it). In the spring Aldi has cheap bulbs for your garden, though I haven't bought them here. Aldi's philosophy is to carry a smaller number of things than a regular grocery store and to sell them cheap. Quality does not appear to suffer. Cash only. No credit or debit cards. Some baking items (such as really cheap cocoa) are available seasonally only, so it's worth stocking up. read more

I would not have expected to be shopping at Aldi (perhaps I was a bit tarnished from the experience I had about 10 years ago). I'm glad I gave them a second shot. To those unaware Aldi adheres to European standards for food which is much better than the local Jewel or most other chain grocery stores. Combined with the new remodel of this store and you have a GREAT shopping experience (just remember to bring a tote bag). Salmon is better than Whole Foods, kid you not! Other meats I would step clear of (believe they inject the chicken with soy for flavoring). Vegetables are good (Their organic avocados are the best I've found in the suburbs). Fruits, good selection! Store is very clean and the people working seem happy, bonus! Keep up the good work Aldi! read more

Normally my thoughts on any Aldi that's been newly remodeled are 5 stars. This one has disappointed me on 2 of my 3 visits though. The store itself is clean and bright, but I feel like some of the produce organization doesn't make sense and I've noticed they have been out of things that I was looking for- I came in looking for garlic cloves and all they had was this huge bag of peeled cloves, not the little 4 pack in the netting that I wanted. So I had to commit to way more than necessary. On a different visit, I needed beef broth- can or box, I didn't care, but they had neither. I thought it was strange to be out of both types. I did appreciate the fact that TWO store associates checked in back and thoroughly checked the shelves for me to make sure we weren't missing anything. I was back one week later for groceries and checked on the broth for kicks and they still hadn't restocked it. I'm used to coming to Aldi for staples and just needing to make one trip, but I've had multiple experiences now that made me need to make secondary stops. Other than that, the workers are always nice here, and they are willing to open lines when check out gets long. I will be back, I just hope the stock issues get better! read more

This is my new local store. It always very clean and I've never encountered an unpleasant employee. I am happy with the selection of products, lots of organic and grass fed items. I appreciate aldi staying consistent but also with the times when it comes to the latest health foods that people are shopping for. read more

This store is nice and organized! They stocked very well! Due to covid19 pandemics,I see that the staffs trying so hard to keep everyone respect social distancing rules. The store manager even sent one person standing by and clean the carts which is nice. However, after I unloaded my stuffs, cashier would switch the cart to the one which already being used by the other person, I insisted that I want to use my old cart, he rolled eyes at me and replied "yes, right!" Gumecindo you have to make sure that the carts you switching us to use is cleaned and sanitized. You as an employee should know better! I have family with elderly and kids, so ofcause I have to be extra careful! read more

I admit to being a ubiquitous brand and organic produce snob, so it took a good share of Yelpers to spark my curiosity. So glad to have gone in before a trip to Trader Joe's. Organic bananas for 69 cents a pound. Organic carrots for a song. Driscolls Organic blueberries, blackberries, raspberries for 1/2 the price or less than neighboring TJ's. The very same brands, Organic, same size container that is sold literally next door for more. It's crazy. For a minute there, I thought I was in a time warp of at least 10 years back in time. I was feeling a vicious migraine coming on from the fortune I know I've wasted at the other stores I shop at every single week. For fresh non-organic, but good quality produce, prices at Aldi for avocados; broccoli; red, yellow and green peppers; cucumbers, asparagus, etc.., all for about 1/2 the price of Trader Joe's, Jewel, Whole Foods and Door-to-Door Organics. Aldi had tempting, ruby red cherries for $3.69 pound. Trader Joe's had none. I don't know what I was expecting, other than this Aldi exceeded my expectations. It was clean, neatly organized, other shoppers were well mannered. No one banging their carts into my heels or grabbing for something as they shove other customers out of the way. AND, no one was on their phone chirping away as they call home while reading hummus labels, all the while monopolizing the hummus section so that no one else could get hummus. (I'm referring to you, Trader Joe's...). Aldi had 2 varieties of Ghirardelli brownie mixes at $1.98 each. Definitely a steal and not to be found at Trader Joe's. The shoppers and checkout people were helpful and friendly when realizing that a bonehead just entered the store and didn't know how the system works with carts and bags. Going to have to rethink grocery shopping altogether. Aldi is a steal. There's nothing not to like about that!! read more

I was eating dinner this evening,which I had made from scratch spending at least half of the day in the kitchen preparing, when my boyfriend noticed something that looked like pepper in the soup. On a closer inspection, it turned out to be a bug. We looked into our soups and began seeing that it was not just one bug but many. As we continued to pull dozens upon dozens out of each of our servings, we realized it was not just a few but an infestation. Not only was my appetite ruined, but I also had to throw away the entire pot of soup. All of the products had been bought from Aldi, and I had rinsed the kale according to common protocol. I am disturbed and disgusted by this occurrence. I wanted to bring this event to your attention so it does not happen again to any other any unwary individual. I am struggling with the decision of discontinuing buying just produce from Aldi or finding another grocery provider all together. I have included photos. read more

This store is the worst. I'm in line behind a couple without masks( fine by me) but I wear one to avoid Bullshit, the cashier checks them out sweet as pie exchanging dog pictures. Says nothing about the mask(great that's the way it should be. I set up and pull mine off my nose to defrost my glasses. She tells me I have to pull it up, I politely ask what she says it again with attitude, so I asked why she saying something to me and let them go. She leaves with no explanation. I leave and call the store 45 mins before close and they turned the phone off. Never again and I think others should stop going as well. read more

Some of these reviewers crack me up...with the prefacing their reviews with, "I'm normally not an Aldi's shopper.." Hmmm, I'll let you be the judge of what that is all about.. It is a nice store, has many organic options, name brand Italian bread, fresh (cheap) produce, German chocolates, gluten free options, but still double check your ingredients lists. They use high fructose corn syrup for sweetener in their yogurts. Don't forget to bring a debit, not credit card, or cash - of course. I've always been a fan of Aldi's, we were practically raised on Aldi's products as kids. But in recent years, they have gone above and beyond in providing new and interesting products. Yesterday we bought a whole frozen lobster. Yes, a lobster. $9.99. It was delicious. I love Aldi's. This is one of the nicer stores, too, very bright and clean. There is one checker who seems to always be a bit distracted, even though she does her job adequately. It is just a bit annoying. read more

This Aldi is up there with others in the suburbs and the one on Clybourn in Chicago. Every Aldi is laid out the same way, so this store is well organized and clean like the others. Everything is always in stock and this location always has a large amount of specialty items like holiday gifts, gourmet foods, party trays, etc. They also have the regular Aldi items. Listen, I remember 20 years ago when going to Aldi's was like the final resignation and vestibule of acknowledging you were poor, dirt poor. The food choices were all super generic and seemed subpar. Well, those days are long gone! This Aldi was a genuinely lovely experience. Are you gluten intolerant? Well, have no fear Aldi has plenty of Gluten free options for you, including bread and pizza! All about eating organic? Plenty of options for you as well. Do you love fresh produce? Of course you do, who doesn't. And Aldi has a great selection. Almond milk, gluten free, organic, grass-fed ground beef, Step 2 chicken breast, Aldi has it! The best part is, with this location you can go to Aldi first, knock out 75% of your grocery list then pop over next door to Trader Joe's and finish it off! Five friggin' stars! I love this place, and it's a banner day because I have stolen the "mayorship" from that Linda woman in Foursquare AGAIN! Anyway, Aldi has really grown over the years. They always have the staples like milk, flour and eggs, but they also spice it up with many new items from week to week. For example, I found a chocolate and peanut protein bar from their Fit&Active brand today. Yum! And only 180 calories! Great find. I would especially recommend the beautiful fresh flowers, the Fuji apples, the green peppers, the frozen pies, the frozen mini eclairs, and anything in their Fit&Active line. I would not recommend the wine, the tomatoes or the frozen steaks. The checkout lanes move fast, so you're in and out in a flash. This store is very clean, and always well-stocked. The food is always fresh because it turns over so quickly. The best part is the final bill at the end. My cart was packed to the rim with food, and I paid $60. If I bought the same stuff at Jewel, I'm certain I would have paid at least twice the price. read more

I never considered myself an Aldi person until I shopped here. The store is clean and well-stocked with good prices and a mostly pleasant staff. The brands are what you would expect from Aldi. It probably helps that it is new but the place just looks good. Can't really ask for much more. read more

I am on an Aldi kick lately. In the past, I wouldn't want to step foot in an Aldi but I recently gave it another try and I am so glad that I did. This location is by far the best Aldi that I have been to. There are still some locations out there that are less than desirable but this one is worth the drive. It is super bright, clean and larger than most locations. They have the usual set up and I love the "special buys" which change week to week (you can sign up on their website to receive the ads via email or you can grab the upcoming week's ad on your way out the door). This location was out of one of my favorite Fit & Active products which should show you just how good they are. They are devil food cakes which can be found in the snack aisle....please be sure to leave some for me though!! I haven't really come across a product that I wouldn't re-purchase. A lot of the meat special buys are name brand (i.e. Tyson) so you can really score there. All of the Fit & Active products are great and they have really delicious bread! read more

I give this 5 stars because this Aldi is the best in the 'burbs. And yes, they do take Debit cards, as do all Aldis. The reason this one is so good is because it's new. I'm not sure how new, it has to be less than 5 years old. (Probably newer.) It's got the same stuff as other Aldis, but it's brighter and cleaner, and has a great parking lot. I was a bit snobbish toward Aldi. The one in my hometown was pretty rough, but since moving to Chicagoland we'd heard it was different here. Sure enough, it's a great place to get the bulk of our families groceries. I still like getting really high quality meats elsewhere, but otherwise, the price for quality ratio is unbeatable!
