I do like this store. The prices were great but there was this one cashier I took issue with. She was thin, had straight long hair, a deep skin tone, and she was latina. She was so rude for literally no reason. First, she snapped at someone. I don't remember who it was but she was really rude to that person. I brushed it off but then she started giving me attitude as well. She spoke to me like I was stupid when I mindlessly gave her $43 (I rushed since she was already pissy). She looked at me annoyed and stated that "the total [was] $24.78". I told her "oh yeah sorry. I wasn't thinking." She GLARED at me--cash in hand--and asked "what do I do with this?" I responded with "just take as much as needed". I didn't even give her attitude back. She seemed annoyed nonetheless and then proceeded to give me back my change all in ones LMAOO.. bye. My partner (who is also a grocery store worker) informed me that cashiers often do this to costumers who are "annoying or an inconvenience." But like damn wtf? Because I didn't even do anything. I respect service workers. I am one myself. I even apologized for the inconvenience and watched out for my tone. It was HER! After she checked us out she gave attitude to the costumers that came after us as well. Like they JUST got there. They didn't even get a word in before she caught an attitude with them. Imagine an annoyed parent snapping at their child. That's what she was like the entire time. I can understand if she's going through something or if she hates her job but she shouldn't have taken it out on random people. We're all struggling in some way, shape, or form. She can try to push others down all she wants but 1) it's not gonna make her problems go away and 2) it's unprofessional. I was gonna let it go but she was part of why I had a such a bad day so it doesn't feel all that insignificant anymore. Now I'm thinking of everyone else she was rude to. What if they were going through something worse than I? What if they were constantly getting mistreated and then some random worker at Aldi treats them like an absolute waste of space? That's sad. Hopefully more people speak up and hopefully she gets held accountable soon. The world needs less of whatever that was. read more

I stopped by recently and was pleasantly surprised that the lines were not too long. The store was fully stocked. They had all the items that I needed. It was a clean and organized store, and the stuff is always really friendly. I really like the fact that they have a lot of organic produce as well as higher end products available and healthier options. Prices are reasonable. This is a great store. read more

Good selection of foods and good prices especially compared to Walmart and other smaller stores. I will be back. I think I got a good package of strawberries for less than $2. The dessert section is ok, nothing I bought was great but it was cheap enough. You definitely can't achieve your whole shopping list here though. read more

I thought I'll give Aldi a second chance today and it was worst than the first time. The store was dirty specially the floors there was a big sticky spot infront of the produce. Then your cowboy the stock boy kept passing real close infront of us without once saying excuse me and opening the refrigerator doors real close to my face and again not one excuse me. Hope he's thought some manners since he obviously wasn't raise well. For now I'll just stick to food for less and Costco. read more

Its an experience here, from having to loan the cart a quarter to use down to bagging your own groceries. its always a hit or miss with the store, if you go early before opening there is always a line if eager shoppers waiting for the doors to open. Do you guys remember that old Mervyn's commercial what's the lady waiting for the store to open flashing her hands at the door saying Open open open open open open open yeah these are those people. The customers are always nice enough to give you their cart when they are done if your short a quarter. The sales aren't bad but it's definitely first come first serve as they run out quickly. I do like how they constantly changing what they have in stock. But I think the best thing about the store is the security guard. This woman is always in a good mood always happy always smiling and always puts a smile on my face. Her great attitude is contagious!! read more

This store had a huge lack of items that other Aldi stores have, fruits and veggies didn't look very appealing, no gallon water available, most of the eggs were broken, tons of items opened and left behind including milk, chips, bagels, and even cheeses, and I didn't see any employee on the floor besides the two cashiers for any assistance. read more

My husband walked up to the entrance today and there was a little sign that said, "Closed until further notice." Oh my goodness. Wonder what happened, especially since their cashiers only wear their masks halfway, or don't mask up at all.. read more

I really like this location the staff are all very friendly and helpful! They have really good organic milk we come here for regularly. We like there cheeses so many different types to choose and they taste good too! We love there breads and ice cream too. They carry spaghetti sauce their organic kind is really tasty and doesn't give any one heart burn at my house because some bottled spaghetti are so acidic and this brand from Aldi isn't. They carry a lot of different products some which come and go! Aldi sometimes carry products and then they are no longer there. We really like a lot of there Belmont products:) frozen pies, ice cream, Popsicle's. They have hit or miss produce depending I've got really great tasting and then I've received spoiled a few times so really inspect your produce. Eggs always super cheap! We will defiantly come back to this location! Don't forget your 25 cents( quarter) to get a cart but it will be returned to you when you put back your cart. read more

I absolutely love this chain of stores. They have what I need. They don't offer 10 different brands of one item, they offer a few. This makes it easier to find what I need and get out quick. Quality is superb. I love the cart system; put in a quarter and borrow the cart and we get the quarter when we return the cart. I usually don't have a quarter so I borrow one from the cashier. I do wish we had a location on the mountains either in Crestline or lake arrowhead area. read more

Groceries $53...cart rental 25 cents...consistently great shopping trips PRICELESS! So I don't know if they pump happy gas through the vents or what but everybody here is so nice. Week after week I've noticed the employees going waaay out of their way to help customers. I really think they are on to something too because I'm pretty sure it's contagious. Customers are friendlier and I've never been so chatty in line The prices still make me do a double-take and have made me try new things because everything is beyond reasonable. I've definitely gotten hooked on their exclusive brands of everything from coffee to yogurt. For anybody that gets sassy about the "quarter for a cart" thing", my advice is, "Don't sweat it! Prices are reasonable. Quality is about average. The place to get your eggs. I've seen it as low as 79c to $1.49. If you consume a lot of eggs [a superfood and tasty] this is the place. Other items that are consistently above average in quality and value; heavy whipping cream, cheese, cream cheese. I'm trying to eat mostly fat and these items are my weekly. read more

When I went there last week the checker was only wearing a mask over his mouth and not his nose. When I went there this this week to the Aldi on: 4020 Highland Ave, Highland, CA 92346, the checker wore no mask at all. This is not safe during this COVID-19 pandemic. Aldi is just awesome! The prices are beyond compare to that of albertsons. There are huge savings at Aldi!! No there isn't a big selection to be had but neither is there at Trader Joe's and not many people complain about that. Let's face it, price is important!!!! Walking out of Aldi with a full cart that cost $70 feels amazing. No joke, the same cart at albertsons would cost triple!!!! And don't get me started on the Walmart grocery experience The store is small but clean, always stocked, and the employees are friendly and helpful. Bring a quarter for the cart (although I've been lent a quarter by an employee when I had no change) and don't forget your own bags. Their "special buy" stock is on the floor on a cycle. New items come in, sell out, and something differently replaces. No, you can't always find the same items after a month but I enjoy finding something new to try out. And if you really like something, stock up on it! read more

I admit I was a bit skeptical when I heard this chain was coming to the area. What with the failure of Fresh N Easy; I was a bit wary. I did some poking around on their website before the store launched back in April to see what the buzz was about...and was curious. All I can say is: I'm very happy I followed my instincts on this one. I and my family do half of our bi-weekly grocery shopping here, and we totally love it! Sure..its a little funky! The "quarter for a basket" thing was odd at first but then it makes SOOOO much sense! Its an awesome way to cut down on stray shopping carts; and they'll even loan you a quarter if you don't have change! I have to say that we save quite a bit of money when shopping here. Their selection is GREAT for a smaller store. They get rid of the bloat many stores have and what they do feature is awesome! Fresh produce (much of it local), a small beer and wine selection and a great selection of dairy and other staples at great prices. Their prices on name brand items is a bit high-ish...but they have a large selection of their own branded items. And let me tell you..98% of their in-store brands have been at LEAST as good if not better than name brands. Their selection on many deli meats and cheeses are approx. half what you'll find even at Stater's. My only small complaint is that their meats selection could be a bit larger and lower priced. But still - its great for when you need to pick something up for dinner or to BBQ. Couple this with really friendly, helpful employees and great service. You should really give this place a try if you want to save money. It really helps stretch your grocery dollar further. read more

I like shopping here, it's small enough where you're not overwhelmed and forget the things you came for because you got lost buying junk food in a couple of random aisle. However they carry all of the essentials. I love the cheese section, so many delicious variety. The prices are unbeatable even compared to Wal Mart, and you don't have to deal with people of Walmart either. The downside is, some products are while supplies last. Kind of like Costco. This place is great! First you must understand the store since it's not like the rest of them. First this store only sells one option for each item. Second make sure you bring a quarter for your cart and when you return it you get your quarter back. You need to bring your own bags unless you want to get charged for them. The quality of the food is great it's always clean I haven't seen any old food yet. I really love the stuffed clams when they have them. Make sure this store is your first stop because you will need to go to another store for the rest of your shopping list. read more

I'm done with the cashiers attitudes at Aldi's. I shop there three to five times a week and only because I want to. I have overlooked their attitudes as of today one too many times. And I'm not trying to be mean but there is a program out there that I remember from a few years back it's acronym was CHARM School and maybe some customer service courses if that's not already being done. read more

I just did my weekly shopping. I spend about half here than I spend spend at other stores and I get the same quality that I get at other places but not name brands. As a matter of fact, if you have to have name brands stay away, they don't have any. But what they have is just as good at a lot less money. About half. Bring a quarter got the shopping cart. You get it back when you return the cart. Also bring your own bags or you can buy them here. Give them a try. I think you'll be happy you did. read more

We love shopping at Aldi, but at this particular location, we are accosted by panhandlers EVERY TIME we get out of our car or are putting groceries into our trunk. It's just not worth the aggravation. We now drive a little farther (the Hospitality Ln. location) to shop at Aldi. Much better experience. read more

I see the attraction, Aldi's is doing some things very right. Carts, clean store, good prices. The problem that I had was..1. Layout - meat/deli is all at the back of the store and people crowd the area so it is tough to get to. The other was a determining factor for me. I bought two meat items that were on sale. Both were marked that said discount would be given at checkout. Both discounts were for $1. 20/per pound. What I actually got was $1.20 off my bill, which means I was over charge just over $5. Integrity means a lot to me when shopping and Aldis didn't hit the mark. read more

The best part about ALDI, getting a full cart of groceries and spending about $40. Meat is cheap, bread is cheap, milk is cheap, cheese is cheap, and don't get me started on the produce!!!! I'm so happy they opened up close to My house. This is my new favorite store. Love the cart system they have where you deposit a quarter and get it back when you return it. Great idea to keep employees doing what they're supposed to be doing instead of gathering carts from lazy people. Their prices are unbeatable. I find most things almost half the price of regular stores, even Walmart. Their organic products are cheaper here than regular products are at other stores. I also love the fact that you use your own reusable bags to cut down on costs and also be more green and not waste plastic since this world produces too much as it is. I can't say enough good things about this place. My usual grocery bill was always over $100. Now when I go here, I only spend around $60 for the same amount of groceries and they are good quality too. The staff is very friendly. The store is clean. They also have lawn and garden products and house decor, toys, and many other things. Love, love, love this store! read more
